Hey everyone!! Your long wait has finally come to an end!! Excited?

Anyways here is my first official chapter by myself. I apologize to HQ because unfortunately they do notmake a cameo in this chapter.

Crisp footsteps could be heard echoing the fairly empty hallway as a young man makes his way through it. He seems calm and collected, but you could sense a sort of urgency by the tempo of his steps. A sudden sound snaps him out of his reverie and he reaches into his pocket. Glancing at the name on his phone, a troubled look crosses his face. After a heavy sigh he answers the phone.

"Yoboseyo?" His voice is low and calm despite his slightly distraught expression. As he begins to weave through the now crowded hallway, you can see him run a hand through his slightly tousled hair.

"You’ve got nothing to worry about. I have everything under control." He assures the person on the opposite end of the phone.

"KwangSu-nim! You’re needed in room 7!" A lady holding a clipboard shouts towards the hurried man. He acknowledges her with a nod and turns down another hallway, heading to his new destination. She smiles before walking off and shouting things into her headset.

"Everything is in place! I know how important this is to you. I have to go now. I’ve got business to attend to!" With that said he ends the call and stops in front of room seven. He takes a deep breath before managing to open the door with a smile.

"HypE! You’re on in ten!" He announces while walking into the busy and crowded dressing room of the seven young members.

"What!!" The members manage to scream in synchronization. After seeing their Manager’s teasing smirk however, each of their faces lit up in breath taking smiles.

"How you guys managed to yell that and still  harmonize amazes me." KwangSu says chuckling to himself.

"Manager KwangSu!" An excited maknae shouts as she stands up quickly, causing her poor makeup Unnie to halt her work. She clumsily makes her way to tackle KwangSu in a hug but knocks her fellow member into a box. JaKyung who was looking for her clothes, glared at the happy maknae glued to their manager.

"Yah! Maknae! Watch where you’re going!!" She growls out as she flicks some hair out of her face. HaNi smiles but sticks her tongue playfully at her Unnie letting her know it was a joke.

"Hey! Manager SuSu~" The Umma role of the group, Aerin, greets while the Coordi-Unnie finishes up her makeup. She sported a nice plain look. Her natural glow radiant without too much makeup covering it. The look made her glow with a sort of youthful feel.

"HaNi! Go sit back down and let the Unnie finish your makeup. We have to go on soon!" Aerin says while looking at the youngest. HaNi quickly lets go of KwangSu and instantly heads back to her chair with a "Yes Umma."

"Some assistance please! My ’s still stuck in a box here!" JaKyung exclaims flailing a bit to show her distress. A hand is then shoved in her face. She follows the arm up to the handsome face of the Leader, JaeHyun.

"Calm down ~saeng." His smooth voice calls out joined by a smile that could melt any girls heart. JaKyung quickly calmed down and grabbed his hand with a slight blush. With a small pull she was out and free.

"Wow! Don't you look fine!" JaKyung says astonished. JaeHyun sported a "y" bed head look. He smiled and looked down at himself before looking back up at her.

"You look good as well!" He then lets go of her hand, much to her displeasure, and walks over to Aerin bumping hips with her. "You should get ready Jagiya."

Aerin smiles but rolls her eyes shoving him away. JaKyung on the other hand huffs slightly and turns around to continue looking for her assigned outfit.

"Just cause you are the Umma and Appa doesn’t mean you two are married." She mumbles to herself and buries her face in the clothes. Manager KwangSu eyes her weirdly before continuing.

"Where are the other three?" KwangSu voices from his spot on a comfy looking couch.

"MinJee is getting dressed." JaKyung manages to say while throwing clothes around. "Something tells me she doesn’t like what she’s wearing very much!" She announces while giggling slightly to herself. She remembered pulling out MinJee’s outfit for her. It was quite... feminine.

"That something was right." A new voice says while a figure enters the room from the adjoining dressing room. An unhappy MinJee is seen pulling at a shirt which is riding above her belly button. "Do I have to wear this?" She grumbles showing her slight discomfort.

"You’ve got a beautiful figure Noona! Show it off!" Another member announces from his spot in the makeup chair. With a roll of her eyes MinJee glances at the Face of the group.

"If you like my outfit so much, why don't you wear it." She says plopping herself down on the couch next to KwangSu. She mumbles a short ‘hey’ and is greeted back as well.

"Don’t tempt me hun~" Haeyun sings happily before looking at the Coordi-Noona working on him. "Noona, do you think I can have a bit more eyeliner to make my eyes pop!" He request while making a "popping" motion with both of his hands. The Coordi-Noona smiles knowing the younger boy's picky habits about his looks.

"I’m sorry Haeyun-sshi! I didn’t want to hide your natural beauty with all this eyeliner. Your eyes are already beautiful as is!" She says feigning guilt. Haeyun’s eyes instantly light up hearing the compliment and smiles.

"Nevermind Noona! I don’t want eyeliner! I agree with you a hundred and ten percent! Carry on!" He decides and sits there happily making faces in the mirror.

"Yunnie! Stop harassing the Noonas! You need to hurry and get dressed already!" His twin yells as she picks up two outfits. She quickly looks at them and a smile makes its way on her face. Handing one of them to JaKyung, she face palms and gratefully thanks the "Umma" of the group before heading to get dressed.

"I’m not harassing the Noonas!" He says offended. "And you can’t rush perfection you know!" He exclaims while smiling brightly at his sister. Aerin shakes her head before making her way to the dressing room as well.

"So who is completely ready?" KwangSu asks looking around and mentally counting the amount of members he’s seen. He stops at six then grows troubled. "And where is KyungSu?"
 

"The only ones who are completely ready are Jae and I." MinJee states as she tugs at her shirt again.

"As for adeul~" Jae starts but is cut off as a cute face peeps out from a dressing room.

"Jae Appa! Can I get some help?" KyungSu asks. His face was distressed. "These pins keep poking me!!" He pouts frustrated.

"Ah! There’s the aegyo prince!" KwangSu says while chuckling a bit. JaeHyun excuses himself before going to help the youngest male who waves enthusiastically at the Manager. KwangSu’s phone suddenly goes off and he pulls it out of his pocket. MinJee peeks over and reads the word BOSS on the screen.

"Bae-Appa is calling?" She asks smiling a bit. She found it funny for KwangSu to name CEO Bae, Boss. It didn’t quite match the jolly man. KwangSu seems to visablly flinch before nervously laughing.

"Uh... Yeah... President Bae is calling." He quickly stands up leaving a confused MinJee sitting there. "I have to take this call. See you guys later! Make sure to be ready in time!" He says before running out the door and answering the call. MinJee raises an eyebrow a bit.

"You look like you’re thinking really hard over here MinJee! Don’t hurt yourself!" JaKyung says while basically dive bombing on to the couch next to her.

"Shut up!" MinJee shouts while laughing, pushing the younger girl off. JaKyung lands on the floor and laughs as well. Sitting next to MinJee, JaKyung nudges her.

"So what are you thinking about?" She asks curiously. MinJee scrunches her brows before shaking her head.

"It’s nothing." MinJee dismisses while glancing at the door their Manager just exited. JaKyung gives her a look of disbelief before nodding anyways. HaNi finally comes out from her dressing room and dive bombs the couch as well.

"I'm finished!! And, I'm not the last one this time!" She replies cutely landing on MinJee's lap. The older female rolls her eyes before pushing the female maknae off of her. JaKyung laughs before picking up the smaller girl from the ground and hugging her.

"Good job you little cutie! Let's try and make that an everyday thing now!" JaKyung jokes knowing the youngest to spend the most amount of time getting ready for the day.

"Noonas? Do I look okay?" KyungSu comes out and presents his outfit. He notices HaNi sitting there with an offended look and laughs. "Oh, and HaNi." He finishes lamely, sticking out his tongue. When given three thumbs up the youngest blushes. A sudden knock at the door calls everyone’s attention as a familiar face pops their head in.

"How are my children doing?" His loud and boisterous voice instantly causes the atmosphere in the room to brighten.

"Bae-Appa!!" The now seven completely ready members shout. The happy man makes his way in and hugs his "children." He was a jolly guy who always managed to look professional but messy. He had his signature glasses and bed head look going on. He was a bit overweight but like he always says, that just means there's more to love. He was 33 years young but you could easily mistake him for 20 or so by his energy.

"Wow! I see you’re all ready!" He says stepping back from the group to take a look at them. "This is perfect!" He claps happily at what he sees. Each member was dressed in bright fresh colors. Perfect for their debut!

(A/N: If you want to know what their outfits look like! Jae Hyun’s / Haeyun’s / KyungSu’s. As for the girls these are their outfits! [MinJee/JaKyung/HaNi/Aerin] Their outfits are in that exact order! I know it’s unoriginal but you’ll see my motives in a bit.)

"HypE!! Meet back stage in five! You’re on soon!"

Backstage the atmosphere was tense as the seven new rookies count down the moments until they would finally be introduced to the public. They worked so long and hard to get where they were and it was finally time! It was crowded and busy but the new co-ed group seemed to glow in the dimly lit backstage.

"I like it like it like it~ I like it like it like it!" Haeyun could be heard singing along lightly with B1A4 who were on stage at the moment. For some weird reason he seemed to be the calmest of the group.

Jae Hyun could be seen going over the steps and words for their number not wanting to screw up. MinJee was sitting down with her head leaned back. Though her eyes were closed and she seemed to be drifting off, if you listened close enough you could hear her voice practicing her parts. The two oldests of the group were what most would call "perfectionist."

The two youngest however were peering out on stage catching glimpses of their sunbaes performing. HaNi could feel the excitment radiating off her as she watched how the crowd reacted to B1A4's performance. She couldn't help but wonder how they would reacteto HypE's.

"HaNi?" HaNi quickly snapped out of her reverie and turned to look at Kyungsu. Her eyes softened lightly when she saw the fear in his eyes. The youngest boy was never the loudest in the group. He was actually quite shy in fact. HaNi could only imagine the anxiety going on within the slightly older boy.

"What's wrong Kyungsu?" She asks pulling him away from his spot where he froze slightly.

"Do you think... I'll do okay?" He asks as he peers at her with his sad puppy like eyes. HaNi's eyes widened before laughing slightly.

"Of course they'll like us! What's not to like about us?" HaNi asked haughtily. She watched as Kyungsu's eyes only continued to fill with worry.

"What if... What if one of us mess up? What if I mess up!! I'll screw up everything!!" Kyungsu says his voice rising slightly. HaNi stopped for a moment as doubts began to cloud her thoughts. What if she screwed up? It definetly was a possibility. Especially with her clumsy self. What would happen if she messed up? She continued to stand there speechless.

"You two will do fine!" JaKyung says as she throws her arms around both maknaes. Jumping slightly the two are pulled closer to her as she presses their cheeks to hers in a tight hug.

"We've practiced so long and hard that we could recite this in our sleep." JaKyung announces proudly letting the two go. "See what I mean?" She whispers while glancing at MinJee. The two glance at MinJee to see her eyes closed yet still singing softly.

"JaKyung have you even practiced once today?" The Umma of the group asks as she makes her way over from next to Haeyun. JaKyung raises an eyebrow before waving it off.

"Like I said I could do it in my sleep!" She announces while smiling cheekily. When a glare is recieved by the Umma herself, her smile slowly fades. "On second thought... I think I'll go practice." She quickly begins to head over to Jae Hyun so she could practice with him.

"You two are going to do great!" Aerin says while fussing over the two slightly. She carefully fixed HaNi's tall hair and adjusted KyungSu's bandana. "Besides you shouldn't be worrying about that! Just have fun!" Aerin says while smiling sweetly at the two.

"Besides if you mess up just do the aegyo I showed you! It will surely distract them." Haeyun says from his spot. B1A4 was now finished performing so he was finished singing. "It may not be as good as mines but it'll work just as well." This only provoked a look from his sister.

When a troubled Kim Bae came walking up to his group the members couldn't help but notice the foreign emotion expressed on his face. Furrowed eyebrows and slightly pursued lips displayed that Bae-Appa was a bit upset.

"What's wrong Bae-nim?" JaeHyun calls out from her spot. The president shook his head before glancing at his group.

"Has KwangSu been here at all? I've been looking for him." He answers tapping his foot slightly.

"I thought he was with you?" MinJee answers thinking back to Manager KwangSu's caller ID.

"No, I haven't seen him all day." Bae answers before shrugging it off slightly. "No matter! I'll take care of my children." He answers. This brings a smile to all seven faces of HypE.

"HypE! Get ready you're on!" One worker manages to scream over the crowd going wild outside. The worker then continued leading the previous performers back to their dressing room. The five cute boys of B1A4 give the newer group a bunch of 'okay' and 'fighting!' signs before making their way out of sight.

Being only a few minutes till show time HypE could feel the energy in the air. Any trace of nervouseness have been erased by the close proximity of the stage and has now been replaced with excitement. Their charisma seemed to be radiating towards the crowd as they seemed to grow louder in anticipation of seeing the newest pride and joy of RisEntertainment.

The stage was a sight as well, now that it was set up for their debut stage. It was lit up with vibrant colors such as pink, blue, and yellow. The words 'Lollipop' lit up causing the crowd to go into a complete frenzy as their lon wait was finally coming to an end.

"Places everyone!" The same worker yells signally HypE to get ready. Each member lets out a deep breath before putting their game faces on. HaNi stepped up to the curtain followed by Aerin, MinJee, and JaKyung. The boys gave the maknae a thumbs up wishing her luck since she was the first to sing. HaNi smiled and adjusted her headset before getting the 'OK' from the backstage Unnie.

Before one foot could step on stage however the building suddenly went pitch black. High pitched screams of terror came from the crowd outside as the fear of darkness set in. A stunned HaNi turned in terror as she tried to search for her Unnies. When she feels someone grab her shoulder she jumps.

"HaNi?" The voice says.

"MinJee-Unnie?" HaNi says shakily. When she feels a slight pat on her head her assumption proved right. "What's going on?" She asks.

"I'm not sure." MinJee answers not being able to see anything in the pitch black.

"Girls?" JaeHyun's voice could be heard close by.

"We're over here!" Aerin responds as she grabs the other three girls closer to herself. When the boys and girls manage to huddle themselves together they can hear the commotion of the workers around them.

"What's going on?!"

"The sound systems aren't working!"

"Get the lights back on!"

"The back up electricity isn't working as well!"

"Nothing is operational!"

As all the stress and chaos went on around them. The seven couldn't help but sit and sulk. Their debut had been ruined.
