“w-why?” He questioned with wide eyes. “I’m sorry”. I take a deep breath and admit “I can’t promise you my heart”. He nodded as replied. “It’s okay, I can wait forever” he smiles warmly. I couldn’t force a smile right now so it turned out to be a bitter smile. Why can’t I find myself liking this guy more than I like Ilhoon? Why do I have to fall in love with someone that doesn’t love me?

“I’ll get in now” I said to him, he nodded as a reply. Getting off his car I made my way into my house. He’s probably flirting with other girls instead of running after me. He’s my childhood bestfriend, yet this is all I am to him? I’m not even worth it? I get it now Jung Ilhoon.

This is the worst fight ever, usually the fight wouldn’t even last for a day, but now… Friday, Saturday and Sunday? 3 day to be exact. I can’t help myself but to wait for him to apologize, but no he didn’t. AND TO THINK THAT WE WERE FIGHTING OVER JUST ONE STUPID MESSAGE.

I jumped to reach for my phone as I saw the light from screen. “Message!” again it was just a pure disappointment. “Minhyuk Sunbaenim”

-Good Morning! How’s my girlfriend? :)- I read from the screen. My eyes widened. WHEN DID I AGREE TO THIS?!?! FOR GOD SAKE I’M NOT EVEN DRUNK!!!!! WHAT ON EARTH DID I GET MYSELF TO?!?

"Wait! This is not right!” I need to make myself clear,

-Sunbaenim, what I mean by yes is not what you think it is. I mean I didn’t know you were talking about making me your girlfriend. I’m sorry- I press send and throw myself on my bed. –Your phone ringtone- “Minhyuk Sunbaenim!!!” I start panicking, what should I do?????? I’m not ready to talk with him, like it or not I know in the end I'll end up confronted him so I decided to pick up the phone.

“Sunbaen—”

“Let’s go out! Remember you promise to buy present for my mum!” he said excitedly on the other line. Did he not see my text just now? Wait, did I really send it? Million of thoughts running through my mind.“Sunbae. About the other day—” “Come on!!! I’ll pick you up in an hour! Bye!__Tut__tut” he cut the line. Is it just me or he’s trying to avoid talking about that stuff? Picking up dress from the closet, I quickly put it on. Getting myself ready, I need to make things clear for both of us. “Mum! I’m going out with a friend!” putting on my shoes I yelled at mum who is currently in the kitchen.

“Ooo… Tell Ilhoon he should come for dinner” mum yelled back. I was taken back as she mentioned Ilhoon. “I—I’m not going out with Ilhoon” I hesitated, mum peer from the kitchen door, staring at me with a what-do-you mean look. “You have friend other than Ilhoon?”

“MUM!” I whined. Okay truth was I don’t have any other friend other than Ilhoon, but that was mean. I mean, aish whatever. “I’m going” I getting out of the house waiting in front of the gate. He’ll be right here in a minutes. “Yah Park ____” A familiar voice echoed in my ears. I know that voice. I turn around and saw him, Jung Ilhoon. I stare at him with O-shaped eyes. He came to apologize?

“You know I didn’t mean it that way, I was just….” He had his head hanging down like innocent kid. My lips rose into a smile. I’ve been waiting for this. “Jealous?” I continued for him. He nodded as a respond. “just tell me you don’t have that kind of relationship with Minhyuk and we’ll be fine!” He blurted. I laugh at his cuteness.

In the end I still couldn’t resist him. I quickly nodded with a bright smile on but the next second my smile disappeared as I saw the exact same yellow Lamborghini speed up towards our direction.

Confused, Ilhoon followed as to where my eyes pointed to. Getting off his car Minhyuk stared at me and Ilhoon with a confused expression as well. Ilhoon’s warm gaze just now changes into a fierce glare clenching his fist he turned to me. “Me, coming here was a mistake” he said getting into his car and drive away. Without knowing tears escape my eyes.
