It just wasn't fair. They have been dating for about a year and it was annoying to him how he never got to kiss her yet. He didn't care at first, but as his friends bothered him about it, he wondered why they haven't. He tried to steal a kiss or ask her for one, but she simply declines and says she isn't ready.
