Jessica, a 23-year-old miss of the Jung household, was living her life normally as the heir of the huge Jung's Department Store, which is one of the biggest department stores in South Korea. All she knew since she was young was working, since only the first child of the family can inherit the company. It’s a tradition since a long time ago in her family. She has a younger sister, Krystal, who she thought is more capable in handling the company. But in the end, Krystal chose her path as a model, and she became one of Korea’s top models.

                Jung's Department Store has a very good relationship with Kim’s Fashion Line. So when Kim’s Fashion Line knocked-down by a bankruptcy problem, Jung's Department Store was trying to help them. Jessica’s father, Mr. Jung, was planning to set up an arranged marriage for her daughter, Jessica, with Mr. Kim’s son, Kim Jonghyun, to save Kim's Fashion Line from bankruptcy. Jessica and Jonghyun don’t have a relationship that people would call ‘good’, although Jonghyun gets along well with Jessica’s sister, Krystal.

                Jessica objects the idea very much, and so does Jonghyun. In the end she asked Ok Taecyeon, her best friend, to pretend to be her boyfriend. But what she doesn’t know is that Taecyeon’s company, OKI Enterprises, is her father’s biggest rival.
