“You’re not smiling again”

I feel my cheek being poked as he said it

“It’s my default face”

I commented nonchalantly while sipping my coffee didn’t even try to see his face

The only person that loves to remind me to smile

I can see his pout from the corner of my eyes and then he finally sits beside me like he used to

We’re on a café near our university

I’m a regular here, and its months before he came

I sit on my favorite place on the 2nd floor corner

Because it’s calm and I can focus on my study

But everything changes when Luhan found me here

It’s a bit annoying to have him here, but it’s not that I couldn’t cope with it

He always smiles, have a lot of friends, nice and caring

And his circle of friends consist of popular guys like Wufan, Yixing, Kai, and Sehun

I said while tasting his homemade pancake

Why are Tao and Kyungsoo always bugging me by telling me about Luhan?

It’s the first time I feel annoyed

We turn our face to find Luhan’s friends shows up, and the one talking previously was Wufan

The other ones who previously whines is Sehun, he quickly run to his side with a pout on his face

“Good evening, Minseok hyung”

Yixing, mr. dimple, greets me with a smile and a polite bow

I bow back though not as low as him to show my respect to this humble guy

“Good evening”

I said casually and the others attention turns to me

Wufan stares at me and then silently bow and I bow back, While I can feel glares from Sehun

The one named Kai quickly bows at me, if I’m not mistaken Kyungsoo told me that he’s making a move to him

So I’m lucky because I’m his housemate?

I give him a small smile

“That it! You finally smiles, Baozi!”

I widened my eyes at the sudden remark and what did he call me earlier?

“Baozi?”

I asked with a furrowed brow

If I’m not mistaken it’s the Chinese word for dumpling

Luhan gasped as he just realized what he calls me

Wufan, Yixing and Kai chuckles

“In front of us, he likes to call you, Baozi, Minseok sshi”

Wufan explained while taking a seat

“Yeah, he likes to tell us about you, minseok hyung”

I nod understandingly then look back to Luhan

“So why do you call me that?

I asked with hands crossed on my chest and my back leaning on the chair

“Uh..it’s because..uh..your face looks squishy and… white and fair…like a Baozi..”

Kai added while taking a seat on the empty chair

“Uh um..I’m busy here; I need to study more, so you guys can go without me today”

“Let us take you there today, Sehun, Luhan needs Minseok hyung to help him study~”

And finally Kai dragged the youngest

“We’ll be going then, please excuse us, hyung”

Said Yixing with a smile while Kai and Wufan bows before they finally left us

Luhan stares at them till they disappeared then turns his face and smiles brightly at me

“Well then let’s continue!”

He said with a cheerful tone

“Okay, what is that you asked earlier?”

And we continues our study, his study to be exact

 “You can go home; I still need to be here till my paper is finished”

I said while typing on my laptop after finish helping him

“Let me help!”

He told me while leaning closer, his head leaning on my shoulder, trying to read what I’m typing

Well a help won’t hurt, so I let him

And thanks to him we finished it in just an hour

Now we’re walking to the dorm, well it’s not me who lives there, it’s Luhan, because he’s from overseas, and our university gives dorm facilities for overseas students

And my place is not far from the dorm, so it’s okay to walk him

“You know, they admired you, Minseok”

Said Luhan suddenly

“Huh? Me?”

I replied while turning my face to him

“Yes Wufan said despite you’re in top ten of the highest grade and famous for your athletic skills as well, you’re not a cocky person”

“And Kai said your cool attitudes make the juniors idolized you as well”

“Cool? *chuckle*”

“What Is so funny? I’m serious”

Luhan protested while hitting my arms lightly

“Okay, okay, thanks for the information, Luhan”

I pat his back

“But why you rarely smiles?”

Luhan tugged my sleeve, making me stop walking

“And why do you want me to smile often?”

I asked him back

Luhan turns silent as he’s taken aback by my sudden question

“…It’s because you look much more handsome with a smile on your face”

Is he flirting with me?

“I’m not interested to attract anyone by becoming more handsome”

That’s the truth

“If you need good looking friend, you’ve many already, right?”

I added

“I can be your friend?”

He looks at me with bright eyes

I continued to walk, leaving him

Since then we becomes friend

Though nothing much changed, except that sometimes my friends and his friends meet up

I feel glad that Kyungsoo and Tao adapts well between them

Though I know that they’re the one that feels relieved to see me trying to adapt with those popular guys

And I can see well that Kai tries hard to be closer with Kyungsoo

While Sehun clings on his dear life at Luhan

I still didn’t get the vibe with that boy

But I don’t really care, as long as we respect each other then it’s enough

But I sympathized Luhan, the youngest is all over him, trying to do everything to gets Luhan’s attention And I can see that  Luhan looks tired

“I’m going to the bathroom”

Luhan quickly release himself and runs to me

“We’re not girls, Luhan, to go to the bathroom together”

He lightly punches my left arms but didn’t say anything

I hold my chuckle and we walks to the bathroom

After finishing our own business we walk back to our friends

“Can I sleep at your place?”
