CheckmateA wringing feeling inside the stomach wouldn't let her enter. Yoona just wanted to bend over and vomit right then and there.
But, the small fragments of pride she had left obliged her feet to move ahead, taking one step a time. Even though her legs weren't that dependable, Yoona managed to walk in a quite normal manner and pace. Like this, no one would notice her unsettled mind. Her fingers shook as warm drops trailed her spine. At the same time, she froze and pulled her coat tigheter around her petite form.
To be honest, Yoona had lost some kilos during the last couple of weeks and the route didn't seem to make a turn for the better either. She was cold at night, despite covering herself in almost dozens of blankets. Her skin had become a disgusting paleness and the hair weak and dull. With no strength left, Yoona dragged herself through school before going home. The social part of her life didn't exist longer.
Yoona was fading.
Now, looking as embodied dirt, she was forced to visit the penthouse. Just because her sister felt the uttermost desire to wear a particular duo of heels Yoona borrowed some time back and forgot to return. What if her worst nightmare still occupied the apartment right now?
"Good afternoon, miss."
She almost lost her skin when she heard the familiar voice. In her favor, the greeting had come from her former, older receptionist. Yoona smiled and raised her right hand in a quick wave, before rushing for the elevators. When she got a free box and went upwards, the legs almost gave off. Yoona found balance when she leaned against a mirrored wall. The heart was running insane, her mind too.
