He sat on his seat, back hunched as he tapped his fingers on the smooth surface of the table. Afternoon tea was before him but the intensity of his feelings had taken away his apetite. Raindrops fell to the ground mingling with the earth, creating a scent that Baekhyun was so fond of.

Those days when he would whisk him away outside to enjoy what was free in life. Chanyeol loved the rain. He loved to stay outside when it did.

He liked the feel of the cold raindrops tickling his skin. He liked wrapping his arms around Baekhyun, and whispering to him how much he loved him. When the rain poured harder, Baekhyun won't hear, and Chanyeol would yell "I love you" to him as many times as he wanted. The sound of the rain pouring drowned their voices, but it didn't drown their feelings. 

The rain made those moments more special. 

But at that moment, Baekhyun felt as if nature was playing a trick on him. Siding with Chanyeol and trying to sabotage his plan.

Bringing back both painful and sweet memories with each raindrop.

He was in no mood for anything expect to talk to Chanyeol and finally get it over. Every tick of the clock made his nerves more tense, and after a while, he surrendered to the cup in front of him. Letting the aroma and taste of the jasmine tea relax him. He places his cup down and stares back into the open garden, a figure slowly appears from the gate with a hood over his head and a smile on his face that made Baekhyun's heart beat faster.

He still loved him.

It was no surprise.
