SBS to launch new reality project, “Daddy’s Girl, Mama’s Boy!”

With MBC’s We Got Married back on its feet, and KBS’ Hello Baby hotter than ever, of course SBS will certainly never back down without a fight!

Whereas the dating scene has been done, and taking care of kids is taken care of, SBS introduces a whole new concept – raising a family of your own! “Daddy’s Girl, Mama’s Boy!” will feature several couples, randomly picked by love calls from the producers of the show, attempting to raise a young child while simultaneously trying to accomplish their roles as parents. A star-studded family show that you will surely never want to miss out on.

SBS reveals that the show is a personal project by the CEO herself, Yoon Se-Young, and has dug very close to her heart. “It’s actually a show to raise awareness that there are actually kids who are intentionally left behind by their parents who are unable to raise them.” Representatives say. The children appearing on the show are actually all from the same orphanage that the station refuses to name due to privacy reasons. Most, if not all, of the earnings garnered from the show will be donated to said orphanage to be able to raise the children in the foundation better.

“We have already started filming for a few episodes.” An insider revealed. “The stars present were fairly surprised at suddenly being called onto the show, but were quite nice, and quickly went to make it easier for the staff by doing a great job. The kids themselves probably enjoyed the most though.”

“There will be a total of six couples, though I cannot say who they are exactly.” They continued, “Teasers on who the stars present might be released in the number of days until the premiere. Other than that though, we cannot say anything more.”

SBS themselves are not saying anything, but rumor has it a few idols from the “Big 3” (SM Entertainment, YG Entertainment, and JYP Ent.) will be making their appearances on the show.

The pilot episode will premiere on October 6. Make sure not to miss it!
