Decision Part I
The CureThe words ran through Yoseob’s head as he walked around the hospital. Yes, I have HBV.
After his patient had said those words Yoseob had nodded and excused himself from the room. It meant he had no cure. . . His fate was ultimately decided. Nothing Yoseob could do would change that. Why had they hired him then?
He ended up walking past his room again and heard no noises. What did he do all day? What in the world could he be thinking about all day? How lonesome. . . .
“ Dr Yang!” Hyuna greeted him as he debated whether he should go inside. “Hows it going with Woonie oppa?”
Yoseob didn’t like the way she talked about him so carefree and was surprised. What was this strange feeling? Was it towards Hyuna. .. . . .or towards his patient?
“Please call me Yoseob.” He requested smiling genuinely at the secretary. “And it all went. . . “ he didn’t know how to put it so he just shrugged defeatedly and stared at her as she smiled softly.
“Don’t worry Yoseob-shii.” Hyuna waved “It’s overwhelming at first isn’t it? But soon itll be better. Youll get used to everything and Dongwoon will understand.”
Yoseob stared at her frustrated at her words. Why did Dongwoon have to understand? Why did he have to wait for someone to understand him? That didn’t seem fair.
Still, he decided to smile and thank her for her words. It made him realize what he needed to do.
He sighed as he came in front of the door he needed to enter and braved everything in him to walk inside.
