You and Sungjong had been at the amusement park all day celebrating your birthday. By the time the two of you got on the bus to go home, both of you were exhausted.

“Did my birthday princess have fun today?” he asked after you both sat down.

“Ne! Komowao Sungjongie!” You pecked him on his cheek. He wrapped an arm around your shoulders and pulled you to him, kissed your forehead, and then the both of you yawned at the same time.

“Maybe we should take a little nap.” he said between giggles. You agreed and rested your head on his shoulder.

Soon both of you were in a deep sleep.

Sungjong woke up with a gasp when he suddenly felt he your hand grab a handful of his shirt. He looked down at you to see your face contorted into a painful expression and tears running from your eyes. He didn't want to cause a scene but you looked like you were in so much pain that he was starting to worry you might actually be hurt. He reasoned with himself that you must just be having a nightmare.

Fighting the urge to shake and scream you awake, he gently started to you hair and whisper in your ear:

“Wake up, _________. Don't listen to the nightmares, Only listen to me. Wake up.” he ended by kissing the top of your head.

Your body instantly relaxed and your eyes fluttered open, the first thing you saw was Sungjong's pretty face with worry written on it. He used his free hand to wipe your tears.

“Are you okay? Did you have a bad dream?”

You nodded “yes” to both questions “Why did there have to be clowns at the amusement park today?” you pouted.

He giggled at your cuteness “Silly girl, don't you know my princess isn't allowed to have nightmares? Especially on her birthday! You're only allowed to dream of this.” He grabbed your chin and placed a sweet kiss on your lips.
