Things have been a little awkward ever since the accidental kiss between Chanyeol and Baekhyun at the restaurant. Never the less, Baekhyun acted like nothing had happened. After all, it was just a slight brush on the lips, wasn’t it? But Baekhyun was somehow still slightly bothered about it.

Chanyeol on the other hand, decided to play along with Baekhyun, not wanting to make him uncomfortable. Therefore, the two continued along with their friendship, and it grew stronger day by day. Baekhyun had almost forgotten about the pain he had felt. Almost.

But somehow, it still came back to haunt him.

“Hey Baekhyun! You free after school?” Kyungsoo asked enthusiastically. “Kai and I are going to get ice cream, you wanna come?”

Baekhyun looked up into Kyungsoo’s excited face and smiled apologetically. “Sorry, but I have plans to practice my piano in the music room today.”

Kyungsoo opened his mouth in surprise. “Wow, you play tennis and piano? You’re really talented.”

Baekhyun laughed lightly. “Thanks.”

“Okay, have fun practicing then!” Kyungsoo waved at him before disappearing out of the classroom, his sneakers squeaking on the tile floors. Baekhyun looked wistfully after him, then stood up to leave.

He got to the practice room and closed the door behind him, looking at the sleek black grand piano in front of him. Walking over, he smiled and ran his slim fingers over the piano, admiring its beauty.

“It’s been a while, hasn’t it….playing the piano…”

He sat down and began to play, his slender fingers running over the keys, the music flowing into his ears. Before he knew it, he was singing, his angelic voice resonating throughout the room:
