Background:

Yeseob met Eun Mi at school when she was a freshman and he was a sophmore. The moment they met Yeseob took initiative to show her around the school and since, then they became great friends; best friends. Secretly, Yeseob started to develop new feelings for Eun Mi that he has never had for anyone else before. EunMi has had a crush on him before Yeseob even came up to her and talked to her for the first time. However, she's convinced that if she ever confessed that it would become awkward between them. Thus, ending their great friendship. As the year went on, Eun Mi held her real emotions in and hid them. Currently, Yeseob is now a Junior and Eun Mi is a sophmore at Seoul High. They jwere just released into a winter break and unfortunately, due to their busy Christmas week they haven't been able to talk or hang out at all....

Luckily, Yeseob changed that....

EunMi's POV:

I awoke to the sound of the wind rattling the glass of my window. My eyes opened to a sight of snow laying on the window pane and the sun alluminating the crystals of snowflakes, I let out a big huff as I sat up in my bed...Aish, I'm so worn out. Christmas shopping was so crazy and cooking with Umma was almost chaos because I almost burned the ham I was supposed to cook to put in the kimchi my umma made. Thank God, I didn't though haha. I grabbed my phone off the nightstand and looked over my facebook newsfeed to read like the newspaper. Multiple posts about people's New Year's day plan today to go drink and party. Pictures of bottles of alchohol, 2013 hats and banners along with people's stunning outfits for tonight's countdown in the streets of Seoul. I stumbled upon Yeseob's status update as I refreshed the page and I clicked his name...

ohhhhh!!!! HYUNG GET IT IN! :D

"bwoh?" I whisper to myself in confusion. What is he talking about? I'm his best friend and he didn't tell me..

I shuffled out of bed and threw the covers off my legs and  went into the bathroom to start running the shower. As I got in, all I could wonder about is what Yeseob is talking about! All of a sudden, I hear a manly like girl squeal...

"OOOPPPPPPPPAAAAAA'S CAAAALLLLLLIIIIIINNNNNNG!!!"

At first it startled me almost making me slip and fall in the shower. Then I realized, it was the ringtone that Yeseob recorded on my phone for himself . I laugh to myself because I haven't heard it in so long. I quickly finished my shower but I missed the call. I grabbed a light periwinkle towel and wrap it around myself while hugging to my chest. As I transition back into my room to get dressed I put the voicemail on speaker as I got dressed....

"Anneyonghasaeyo??!! EUN MI! DID YOU FORGET ABOUT ME??" Yeseob started playfully sounding like he was going to cry, "I'm sorry I haven't been calling you or texting you" he chuckles to himself softly, "it's been such a busy time and I've been...um...thinking about a lot of things lately that I kind of need to figure out..."

What is he talking about? 

Finally, as I pulled the faded denim skinnys up my long legs and blow dry my hair I send him a quick text.

Yeseob's POV:

Ah~. 2012 is finally going to be OVER.

But, I hope it wasn't too obvious in the voicemail what I was going to do or what's really going on...

OH WELL :3

I shrugged and hopped into the shower singing "beautiful Night" and dancing while lathering body soap all over my chest.

Suddenly I heard my phone chime, "Gee Gee Gee baby baby~"

Third POV:

 Yeseob gasped childishly excited and jumped out of the shower almost slipping and dropping his towel. He grabbed his iPhone and unlocked the screen seeing the message:

Text from EunMi:

Anneyong Oppa~! I understand you've been busy but what in the world are thinking so deeply abot pabo? >.<

He smiled cheekily at the text and ran his fingers through his semi-wet hair as he texted back, 

"Thinking about what WE to do for New Year's Eve tonight...AND YOU'RE THE PABO! >:3"

EunMi blushed lightly and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear while smiling softly at the text,

"No, You(:   and Oh~. OK"

Quickly Eunmi's phone pinged,

"Well, I'm your pabo Lee Eun Mi~. :p"

EunMi' eyes widened at the words and stared at the screen in a suttle shock.

 Are you really? Do you really want to be?

She shook her head clearing her thoughts and texted back,

"So, Where do you plan on taking me tonight?"

Yeseob sighed noticing EunMi changing the subject.

Does she do it on purpose? Maybe...she just doesn't feel the way I do...

"I want to go to the Countdown Celebration on the Seoul Strip~! :D"

"Oh, that sounds fun :3 I live a couple blocks from there~"

"Perfect! :D I'll come by your house around 11, tonight?"

"Yeah(: Sounds Good~"

                   Yeseob yelled, "YES~!" holding his arms up in victory as his hyung Dong Woon walked in and his towel dropped.

"Aw, hyung put some clothes on!" he groaned covering his eyes and closing the door. "I'M GOING TO GET-- :D"

EunMi's POV:

             "A KISS?!"  I said in utter worry.

"Ne" My unnie laughed almost choking on her pho, "that's a new year's eve tradition~"

"B-But I-- He--" I stammered blushing.

"You like him don't you dongsaeng?" she raised her eyebrow.

"Ani" I lied badly crossing my arms.

"Yes, You do" she teased seeing right through me.

I groan as I admit, "Okay, I think he's..cute. There! But, he doesn't like me! and we're friends and I don't want to mess that up! and his dumb kiss might--"

"Well, then try not to be...attractive then?" she laughed at her bad advice.

I gave her a death glare, "Unnie you " 

"How about you come with then?" I chime my idea as she gave me the same death glare back.

"Ehm, no" she set her bowl on the counter, "I have a boyfriend to be with, Minhae"

"Ugh" I stuck my tounge out, "You're supposed to help your younger siblings with their problems!" I flail my arms trying to convnce her as she began walking back upstairs to her room.

 "Ain't nobdy got time for dat" she laughed teasing me, "This is your dilemma dongsaeng!"

Ugh, what am I going to do....(end of POV)

11 o'clock....

Yeseob's POV:

I walked up the porch steps and knocked on the white door. The door knob turned a couple times and then the door finally opened revealing EunMi. She's....so beautiful. When I laid my eyes on her the first thing I did was smile and stare in admiration. Her hair was slightly curled and she had a nice light blue park coat over her y black dress that matched the  silver sparkles her sister threw in her hair

"You look...great Eun Mi!" I complimented cheerfully and she blushed looking down at kicking her heels.

"kamasahamnida.."  she giggled softly to herself. Her laugh is so cute.

"READY TO PARTY?" I yell grabbing her wrists flailing them everywhere, "WHOOOO~"

She laughed and nodded as we began to walk. 

We started to converse about all the stupid and funny stuff happened to us over break. Then, that led to all the funny memories we shared. I can't help by smile and laugh whenever she does.

"HA! AND THEN WHEN YOU--"

EunMi nodded holding her stomach whiling laughing, "Omo! Oppa stop! I'm going to cry from laughing so hard!"

I chuckled and wrapped arms around her from behind and swung her in a circle then tickled her.

She shrieked and laughed, "Oppa!" she giggled, "Yah! Stop!"

It turns out EunMi lived an hour away from Seoul Strip but we forgot all about it...we just kept having fun and walking together.

Finally we arrive at the strip.

It's time. i have to tell her.

Yeseob. You can do this. YOU'RE THE MAN! ALRIGHT! ONE....TWO...THREE!"

(End of POV...)

"EUN MI!" Yeseob randomly barked.

"UH, Yes?" she laughed.

"UH..."

. What do I say?? 

"I, um wanted to erm, tell you uh..."

" You're hungry?" she raised her eyebrow.

"Aniyo!" he snaps laughing.

12:01:30.....tick...tock...tick...tock

"Eun Mi I--" he hesitated rubbing the back of his neck becoming nervous as his heart beats faster and faster.

"..."

"10!.....9!.....8...."

"I-I..."

"Yes?" She gives a worrisome face seeing the anxiety in Yeseob's eyes.

"7....6...5"

He held her hand in his and leaned over to her ear then whispered, 

"I'm....In love with you Lee Eun Mi..."

Eun Mi's eye's widened to two big circles in shock and her heart stopped.

"3......"

"Mi? Are you okay?"

"Oppa, I...."

"2...."

"You don't--" he dropped his head in dissapointment.

"ONE!!!!!" the crowd screamed and hollered as Eun Mi wrapped her arms around Yeseob's neck and smashed their lips together in a spontaneous passionate kiss.

EunMi's POV: 

I pulled back from the kiss and saw Yeseob's bright smile.

Then I  leaned over in his ear and whispered,

"............I love you too Oppa"
