Foreword

Somewhere in the dark woods with the crowd of night creatures, a glimpse of black silk robe was flying low above the musky mildew. A pair of pale soft thin arms were stretched out from the silky robe holding a bundle of wool-knitted clothes which was protecting a small lithe and fragile baby.

“Changmin, please forgive me... But it’s for your safety, my love!”

A pair of round dark black orbs were gazing at the serene sleeping baby with love, her long jet raven tresses were flailing around her. Her soft sobs were heard making the owls looked at her in confusion.

“Mommy loves you. Daddy loves you. Forgive me, ne? You will have to live in human’s world and working so hard to live your life. But, I promise you, you’ll find your happiness... and you’ll know who you are.”

The young lady pecked the baby’s red lips, cheeks and forehead. She put her ruby liontin necklace aroung the baby’s little neck and whispered a strain of prayer. She brought the baby close to her lips and sang softly a song which would be remain in his memory like a spell. The song of Guardian. Love Serenade.

“Dear! It’s time.” A husky voice was heard as a shadow of a tall man in dark burgundy robe clothes walked closer to the lady. The man back-hugged her and gazed lovingly towards his two precious gems in the world. The lady turned her head and faced him with puffy eyes and red cheeks on her snow while skin.

“Yunho, I’m afraid to let him go... what if..” her soft rants of worries were stopped by a soft kiss on her lips.

“Shhh... He’ll grow into a fine man and we don’t have to worry... The prayer is strong enough until he can protect himself, Jae.” Yunho soothed his wife.

“Okay, Yun... but I still will be able to see him, right?” Jae asked as her eyes stared at her baby.

“Yes, love... you can.. but he’ll not able to see you.” Yunho answered with a tint of sadness in his deep voice.

“Jung Changmin, we love you, my dear.” Jae whispered in to the baby’s ear, receiving a soft mewl from sleeping little baby.

Yunho kissed Changmin’s forehead before taking him from his wife hold and bringing him away. Jae stilled until her husband appeared again without her only son. Her tears streamed along her white cheeks and be wiped by her huband’s finger.

“He’ll be fine, Jae. Believe me!” Yunho hugged his wife tightly, snaking his arm around her petite body. While the young lady cried on his chest. Both creatures bathed in the shining moon light. And sung by the voices of tiny floral elfs.
