He sat next to me every night and talked endlessly. He always spoke of such sad things, things I never knew could exist  in this world. He was always so down, and how I wished I could bring him back up. How  I wish I could have  done something. Anything at all to show him that I cared, but alas not even the stars in the  great night sky could grant my wish. So all I could do was sit and listen.
