Chapter 4

In danger

Yunho's Pov

The man who talked to me is getting something in his pocket, a phone and dialed a number and wait for a moment to pick the call. then, he start to talk to someone at the other line but the man didn't even get finish on whatever he is going to say when I hear a car speeding up coming to our direction and suddenly the car window open and a gun was pointing at the man on the phone but before I could warn him the gun shot him and the car quickly speeds away to escape. When I heard the gunshot I froze and suddenly I remember something...I was at a ship and someone shot me and fall at the sea.

"JUNG YUNHO!!!" someone shouted my name as flashback of memories gashing like a wind that blows strongly on my mind and remembered that I turned around to see who is it, the face is blurry, can't recognize his face, only a shadow of a man I presume that stands against the light from the column behind him and on his hand a gun that points straight right in my direction,  he pulled the trigger, shot me mercilessly and the impact made me loose my footing resulting to my fall in the dark and cold sea.

After the flashbacks, I'm still at my place standing beside the bench and shocked

"What is that? Did that really happened to me? I thought. It is still confusing I can't remember anything and flash back is just popping out in my head. then, I felt a hand on my shoulder it stop me thinking and back to reality it was Jaejoong he asked me what happened or if i'm ok..and i said i'm fine but suddenly I remember the man that had been shot. I turned to the man's direction and he is already lied at the ground with blood all over he body and I walk to him he's still breathing then I heard Jaejoong shouted to get some help and call an ambulance. the man was already unconscious. I remember him calling me Mr. Jung...Is my full name Jung Yunho?the one that the man in the fladhback called me and shoot? damn..I don't really remember anything...and a few minutes later I heard a siren indicating that the ambulance is here and I saw some police too..They asked me what happened and I told them that he got shot by someone riding a car but it doesn't have a plate number but i told them it's a black audi and that's it they've gone. Me and Jaejoong get back to the Island and go straight to the Cafe.

End of Pov

When Jaejoong and Yunho got back from the town, they immediately go straight to the cafe.

"What took you so long?" asked his Boss

"Oh sorry something came up Boss...there's a person got shot at the town..I didn't saw what happened.." Jaejoong said then he look at Yunho

"But he did" he points at Yunho with his mouth as he turned to look at his Boss again

"Really? thank God you're both fine" his Boss signed in relief

"Yeah, I thought there's something happened to him too when I heard gunshots, knowing..." Jaejoong uttered the last part that even his Boss who is beside him can't hear

Jaejoong walk to Yunho when he notice him staring at nothing

"Hey, are you ok!?" Jae asked but Yunho still staring outside the window

"Yunho... hey, Yun..." he shook Yun's shoulder gently and Yunho came back fom his thoughts

"Hey, sorry I spaced out"

"No, I know you're not recovered about what happened a while ago..do you want to go home? I'll accompany you I'll tell Boss" Yunho just nod

"Ok, wait here"

A few minutes later...

"Hyung, I'll come back as soon as possible!!"

"Don't worry take your time...Karam will be here soon"

"alright"

After bidding goodbye to the Cafe's owner, they walk home. The walk to the house is dead silent as they walk pass through the small street pathway with a single light post in the middle that most of the time is isolated as majority of the island people lived at the opposite way near the shops. Jaejoong sighed thinking what may Yunho been thinking since they got back from the town after they passed the light post is when Jaejoong break the deafening silence seeing Yunho staring ahead of him probably lost in his on world of thinking. But before he can start a conversation to stop Yunho from thinking someone called him.

"Jaejoong hyung!!!" a boy who is in his school uniform running towards them and they both turn around to see the new comer and Jaejoong eyes widen upon seeing the boy

"Oh, Karam-ie! You're early? Are your class already done?" ask Jaejoong to his dongsaeng

"Yes, Is the old man cafe owner in the good mood today? I don't want to hear him ranting about everything"

"He is, I think...don't worry his in the good mood today even though he yelled at the poor waiter for spilling the drinks over the counter table"

"Really? Oh my...what to do then" Karam then turned to look at the handsome man that is standing beside his Jaejoong hyung and blush a bit "Who is he, Hyung? Your boyfriend? But what about Hyunjoong hyung?" ask Karam

"Eh? No, he's not my boyfriend...and why is Hyunjoong always been in the question when asking me anything related to a boyfriend? We're not in a relationship" Jaejoong responded curiously

"Oh, come on Hyung everybody knows there's something between the two of you" Karam teases him more and smirk happily as he sees his Jaejoong blushing a bit.

"What!? Aish this kid"

"By the way, I'm Karam what's your name Hyung?" he ask Yunho and offer a handshake and Yunho stared at Karam's hand for a moment before accepting the handshake

"Yunho"

"Woah, What a manly name...it really suits you a lot, Yunho Hyung" Karam said and turned to his Jaejoong hyung, staring him with fake accusatory-look and said "So, Is he your friend? Why aren't you introduced us early Jae-hyung? Don't tell me you want all the handsome men for yourself. Please share me some" he ask and teases Jaejoong again.

"Yah! Yah! Karam-ie!! Stop it or I won't cook for you ever again" Jaejoong jokingly threatened

"Noo! Hyung, I'm sorry I won't tease you anymore~ Please cook for me~" Karam said cutely

"Okay, okay I will, Your Highness" Jaejoong said when Karam turn again to face Yunho continue to bombard questions after questions

"Are you new here? Where do you live? Don you have a girlfriend? or is it a boyfriend?" but before Yunho can actually answer Karam's ridiculous questions, Jaejoong who sensing the uncomfortable Yunho cut Karam saying

"Hey Karam-ie, isn't that your crush Seunghyun shi!?"

"Eh!? where?" as Karam turns to the direction Jaejoong pointed Jaejoong grabbed Yunho's hand then run so fast

"Yah! Jaejoong hyung there's no one ther-!!" then he turns to where his two hyungs but there's no one there

"Eh? where they go!? Aish!! they run from me!"

Jung Industry

Mr. Jung who is seated at his office, studying some documents that laid on his table when his secretary called to say his son's bestfiend Yoochun is on the phone.

"I'll take the call" said Mr. Jung as he reach for the phone on his right side and take the call

"Uncle, there's something I need to say...It's about Mr. Song" Yoochun begun, worry can be heard in his voice

"Mr. Song? Manager Song Ji Sung?" Mr. Jung ask

"Yes, Uncle" 

"What about my friend?"

"He was shot this afternoon...He called me I don't understand what he was saying because it's noisy on his line then, I just heard a gunshot and then the phone line was cut"

"HE IS WHAT!!!?? What...How-? Mr. Jung stuttered shockingly as he can't believe the news he just heard, taking a deep breaths to calm his self before he respond to Yoochun asking "How is he now? Did you call his wife?" roughly massaging his head as a incoming headached building up.

"Not yet Uncle...I'll call Ahjumma now"

"Inform me of his condition when you contact Mrs. Song"

"Yes, Uncle" then they both hang up the phone Mr. Jung call his secretary

"Yes, Mr. Jung?"

"Cancel the meeting for tomorrow I need to go to Jeollanam-do to visit a friend in the hospital and call Siwon, tell him to accompany me tomorrow morning this is important"

"Yes, Sir"

Yoochun's Pov

I was on the way to our company as my Dad called me to discuss something. I'm sill thinking about what happened weeks ago when I'm at the cruise ship with my bestfriend Yunho.

"Yah, Jung Yunho where the hell are you!? Why aren't you calling or tell someone you're ok? I know you're not dead, It's not you...dying just like that..." Then, I was brought back to my senses when suddenly my phone rings, I glance at my phone and saw the name who was calling me

"Mr. Song?" I muttered "Why is he calling for?" I thought then, answer the phone

"He..llo, Yoochun…Thi- is Mr. Song, you bette-r c-ome here no-w I thi-nk I fou-nd-…" I can't catch what he is saying it's too choppy and the surroundings at the other side of the line is too noisy then, suddenly I heard a gunshot from the other side then I panic..

"Mr. Song? What's happening there? hello...hel- Mr. Song? Ahjussi-" he was not responsing and all I hear is people shouting and yelling then there's a voice that yelled "Yunho!" then the phone line was cut off. "Yunho?" I said. "But If it is Yunho, he will call Mr. Song Uncle...Maybe I'm just thinking too much about him this past few days" I sighed then I call Mr. Song again his not taking the phone then the 6th time I called there's someone take the call

"Hello? Mr. Song?" 

"Uhmm... hello do you know the owner of this phone?"

"Ah, yes can I speak to him?"

"Oh, he is at the ambulance he was shot and they in their way to the hospital...I already called his wife to inform her...are you a relative of him?"

"What? S-shot? Ah, yes he's a family friend" Yoochun ask "That means that shot meant for him!? but why?" I thought

"Ok, thank you...can I ask if what hospital they're taking him?"

"Jeollanam-do General Hospital, Sir"

"Thank you" then I call Mr. Jung to inform him and ask me to call Mrs. Song to know how  is Mr. Song

Ring...RIng...Ring...

"Ahjumma, how's Ahjussi?" asked Yoochun to someone in the other line

"H-he's at the em-emergency room no-w.... the doctors doing a s-surgery on him..." her voice is of a person who is crying for a long time, broken words uttered as she inform him the condition of her husband currently in the ICU having a surgery from the gun wound he receives from who knows who, fighting for his life as the wound turned out to be vital.

"Ahjumma, don't worry He will be fine...We're going there tomorrow morning, I'm with Mr. Jung and Siwon" Yoochun console

"Ok, Thank you, Yoochun-ah" Mrs. Song replied feeling a bit comforted at Yoochun's words

And hang up the phone

End of Yoochun's Pov

Kim's residence

"Umma..." Jaejoong called his mom

"Oh...Joongie, why you're early?" ask his Mom from the kitchen who is preparing their dinner, cleaning the vegetables in the basin

"I just accompany Yunho home, I'll be back at the Cafe..." Jaejoong said as he begun to turn to the stairs to accompany Yunho to his bedroom where Yunho temporarily staying

"Why? Tired of touring around?" she ask Yunho

"Yes, Ahjumma" Yunho responded

"You better take a rest. Joongie take him to the room he do look like tired"

----Upstairs----

"Hey, Is you head hurt?" ask Jaejoong to Yunho seeing him massage his head a bit and a distinguishable little lines of frown on his forehead

"A little..." Yunho replied sitting on the corner of the single bed in the middle of the room and Jaejoong fuss over beside him, being over motherly-like, Jaejoong help him massage his head and running it through his soft hair travelling down to his neck.

Yunho let a satisfied sigh against the magical hands of Jaejoong as it do wonders to his aching head. Seeing Yunho relax, Jaejoong continue to massage Yunho until he looks like in the verge of sleeping Jaejoong tell him to lie down.

"You should take a rest and lie down...sleep...Mom will be downstairs don't be shy to approach her if you need something, okay?" told Jaejoong

"No~ don't sto-p~" Yunho cutely protested the moment Jaejoong stop massaging Yunho's head.

"I have to go to work now, Yunho. I'll do this again later if your head still aches, Okay?"

"Ohe-y" Yunho uttered silently giving in his drowsiness 

"Good, Oh what a baby~" said Jaejoong smiling at Yunho's child-like behaviour then Jaejoong walk out the room and go downstairs just to meet Junsu at the end of the stairs

"Jae, Auntie called she's asking if you can accompany her tomorrow at the town" Junsu told Jaejoong

"I call her"

Ring...Ring...Ring...

"Auntie, I'll accompany tomorrow at the town" Jaejoong informed his Auntie.

"Oh thank you dear...I just need to bring your Uncle some clothes because he's going to stay in the hospital overnight because there's many patients are confined and needed a doctor 24/7...Oh and your friend can come if he like, your Uncle told me about him"

"Ok, Auntie...see you tomorow"
