A new start begins, but old wounds linger. Two best friends work towards fufilling their dreams. But it will take some very shiny, special people to help overcome dark pasts and heal broken hearts. Can they save the girl who is known as an icy shadow, if only from her own self?
Song Yuri, or Yuri Song, as she would be called in the States, stood looking outside of the window in her new home. Autumn breeze rustled the various loose objects in her line of vision. Her roommate, Mina, finished dragging in the rest their boxes into the living room and let out a heavy sigh.
“Yuri, are you going to help at all, or will I just have to throw some of your SHINee stuff out? I can’t unpack all of this!”
Yuri snapped back to reality, rushing over to snatch the box marked “SHINee” out of her best friend’s hands.
“Stay away from my SHINee stuff, ok! Or else we won’t have any Chicken Nights!”
Mina pouted, but reluctantly relented. While she did not fangirl as much as Yuri, she definitely had a substantial attraction towards SHINee’s amazing clumsy chicken leader Onew. So therefore, she had insisted that they have Chicken Night at least twice a month.
Yuri, who was quickly dragging her suitcase and boxes into her room, couldn’t help but wonder at the rather striking similarity between her best friend and Onew. They would make good friends, if they ever met. Yuri smirked at the thought of herself and her bias ever even coexisting. They all lived in two different worlds. Two worlds that would never cross. Or so she thought.

And now I've finally remembered what I was going to ramble on about! This fanfic is written with a slightly fresher, new approach, and the author happens to be crazy! ^.^ So, the story will probably start out rather slowly, expecially since I have focused a lot on character developement and slightly more realistic than normal fanfiction world events. Later on of course, I will be abandoning all reality and the characters may end up doing some very stupid things! So, please bear with us, and we will try our best to be able to present to you a good story! Feedback is greatly appreciated!
