Day by day passed. It’s been 1 year, and Taeyeon hasn’t come back yet.

There’s no space anymore between Tiffany and Yuri, more closer. They spent more time together. Yuri’s ‘cold stare’ faded away.

“where do you go?” Tiffany asked

“work” Yuri grabbed her bag

“no fight today, please” Tiffany said with a puppy face

“I don’t know”

“pleaseee, I don’t want you to have a new bruises” Tiffany pouted cutely

“fine, no fight today” Yuri couldn’t help Tiffany’s aegyo

“really?? Yeaaaay” Tiffany jump and hugged Yuri. Yuri chuckled to see Tiffany that way

2 hours later

Tiffany POV

I heard someone knock the door. I open it, and there’s a girl standing outside the door. She smiled, I smile back. Her face looks like Yuri.

“who are you?” I asked curiously

“I’m Yoona, Yuri’s sister. And you?”

“I’m-“ I couldn’t finish my word, she cut me off

“ahh arasso, you’re Yuri unnie’s girlfriend, aren’t you?” she said confidently

“anniya, I’m not. We’re just friend. Uhm, come in and I will explain it to you”

I tell her my condition. And she just nod signaling that she’s understand.

“aah arasso unnie” she nodded

“anyway, I never know that Yuri has a sister”

“aah, I lived in US, to continue my study, I got a scholarship” she smiled

“really? Cool” I smiled back

“yeah, it’s all because Yuri unnie. She meant a lot to me. She risked her life, to take care of me, so I can continue my study. She protect me always from my uncle. She’s tough, brave, and strong”

“wait wait, your uncle? What happened to you and your uncle? He came here before”

“really? Did he hurt Yuri unnie?” she asked in worried tone

“ne, he did”

“how dare he… aissh”

“mind if you tell me what happened between you, Yuri, and him?” I asked curiously

She sighed “Yuri unnie has a ‘warm heart’. She’s cheerful, friendly, easy to talk. But something bad, happened to our family. My parents died 4 years ago because of car accident. My uncle and his family moved to our house. He also took my father’s company. He’s cruel. All we did was a mistakes for them. When we did something wrong, he would hit us or even kicked us. But Yuri unnie always protect me, she never let uncle to hurt me. That’s why she has many bruises in her body, a whole body”

“so, that’s why she act ‘cold’ to everyone?” I asked

“ne. After we defend for at least 1 year. We decided to move, leave that house. Yuri unnie didn’t continue her study. She quit. She found a job, to earned money for us to continue our life, and also to paid my tuition fees. She didn’t want me to quit. She hates it when I said that I’m okay if I have to quit. She said that I have to continue my study to have a great job and a better life in the future. She never think about her future. She only thinks about me” she cried

I hugged her. I patted her back.

“I want to meet Yuri unnie, but I don’t have enough time. I need to go back to US, I have a flight about half hour from now. Just tell her that I’m okay, unnie. And I’ll come here after I finish my study”

“I will tell her” I smiled

“take care of her unnie, please”

“I will” I smiled and she leave

Yuri-ah, why you never told me about it? Now, I know why you act that way. You suffering. You have to keep your pain alone. I don’t know why, It seems like I can feel what you feel Yuri-ah, the pain that you had. I want to take it away from you.  –tiff

At night

Yuri was change her clothes in bedroom. Tiffany peeked from the room door. She saw Yuri opened her clothes. Yuri’s back was full of bruises. Tiffany feel the pain when she saw it.

She walk towards Yuri. And hug her from the back. She wraps her arm around Yuri’s waist. Her body pressed against Yuri’s back, her arms embraced Yuri closer.

“it must be hurt” Tiffany said and touched Yuri’s bruises one by one

“it’s okay now” Yuri turned aroud. Tiffany wrapped her arm around Yuri’s neck, and put her chin on Yuri’s shoulder

“I want to take your pain away, Yul” Tiffany rubbed Yuri’s hair softly

“thanks Tiff” Yuri wrapped her arm around Tiffany’s waist

All I wanted was for this moment to never fade away.  –yul

My heart beats faster than before. What happened to me? it seems like I never want to end this hug.

Yuri POV

I was walking around with Tiffany. We don’t know where are we going, just walking around aimlessly. I like it.

We passed a jewelry store. And there’s Taeyeon with another girl. Taeyeon kissed the girl’s lips, and gave a ring to her. I don’t want Tiffany too see, it might be hurt Tiffany’s heart. I turned around, but it’s too late. Tiffany saw them.

“Taeyeon-ah” Tiffany said weakly. Tears escaped from her eyes

“Fany-ah” Taeyeon shocked to saw Tiffany

“Taeyeon-ah, how could you” Tiffany sobbed and run leaving them

“Fany-ah wait, I can explain” Taeyeon tried to catched Tiffany

“how dare you Taeyeon, you cheated on her” I punched Taeyeon’s face

“what the are you” she returned

“HOW COULD YOU DO THAT? YOU CHEATED. DID YOU KNOW HOW MISERABLE SHE IS WAITING FOR YOU?? SHE’S ALWAYS WAITING YOU TO COME. SHE WAS SUFFERING. NOW, THIS IS WHAT YOU DO FOR HER??” I snapped

“you don’t know anything” she said want to leave

“when did you come back?” I glared

“that’s none of your business”

“ANSWER ME KIM TAEYEON” I yelled

“1 month ago” she hung her head low

“how could you” I left her and run to find Tiffany

I run to my apartment, but she wasn’t there. I run to her favorite café, but she wasn’t there.

I run to Han River, and she was there. Crying loudly.

Tiffany POV

I can’t believe she did it to me. Taeyeon-ah how could you?

I feel someone presence. Hug me tightly. That’s Yuri.

I cry heavily on her chest. She hug me thighter. She rub my hair softly
