Yuri POV

I was in a café with my band.

“yuri-ah, did you hear me? you’re spacing out” sooyoung patted my shoulder

“mianhe” I smiled weakly

“what are you thinking? Do you have any problem? Tell me, we’re friend, right?”

“uhm…I just… I just”

“just what?”

“I’m looking for another job”

“what? you want to quit from the band? Or you don’t want to be a waitress anymore?”

“anniya, I want to have another job, without quit from the band or quit from the café being waitress”

“but, you’ve already had 2 jobs. It’s not enough for you?”

“I have to earn more money. I need more money sooyoung-ah”

“for what? you don’t have to pay your sister’s college anymore”

“I can’t tell you the reason now. But next time I will tell you. Do you have any recommendation for me?”

“hmmm.. what about working at a bar?”

“how much money will I get?”

“uhm, not much”

“but, I have to earn much money”

“uhmm, I know! But it’s dangerous for you”

“I don’t care. What kind of job?”

“I will tell you if you tell me the reason first”

“fine, I’ll tell you” I sighed

FLASHBACK

Yuri eavesdropped Tiffany’s conversation on the phone

“hello?” Tiffany answered a call

“yah! Fany-ah where have you been? Why didn’t you go to class? You missed the lessons”

“I’m sorry jess”

“what happened?”

“I can’t tell you. Maybe I’ll quit”

“what do you mean quit?”

“uhm, maybe I won’t to continue my study in college”

“what?? but why? That’s your dream, Tiff”

“I know, but I can’t”

“why?”

“I can’t tell you the reason, sorry” Tiffany hung up the phone

“I can’t tell her that the reason is I don’t have money to pay my intuition fees” Tiffany said in lower tone but Yuri still can hear what she said

“Taeyeon-ah, where are you? Why you never call me? I miss you Taetae. You’re the one who always paid my intuition fees, to continue my dream. Should I tell my brother? But I can’t tell him. If I tell him, he’ll angry to you and never let me to have a relationship with you” she sighed

END OF FLASHBACK

“So, you do it for her?” sooyoung asked after Yuri told her the reason

“ne, I don’t want her to quit. I want her to reach her dream. Although it’s hard, but I will do anything to help her”

“you love her?”

I sighed “I don’t know. I can’t describe my feeling for her”

“that’s love. I’m sure that you love her”

“yah! Stop teasing me. now, tell me what kind of job?”

“ah, arasso. The job is dangerous for you. It’s street fighting”

“what?”

“yeah, people whom fighting in that place called street fighter”

“so, what will I do?”

“you have to fight with your enemy whomever she/he is. And then if you win, they’ll pay you with much money. But if you lose, they won’t pay you of course”

“who will pay me?”

“the person who has that place”

“ok, I’m in”

“what? are you serious?”

“of course! Take me to the place tomorrow, ok?”

“o-okay”

Tomorrow morning, sooyoung take me to the place. We talk to the owner and then make a deal.

“you can start work today” the owner said

“okay, but i have another job. So, i will come here after i finished my work”

“okay, deal!”

“deal! Thank you sir” i bowed 90 degrees

“you’re welcome”

It has been 1 week Yuri did the 3 jobs that she has. She always come home late. And with many bruises and wounds. Tiffany didn’t know about Yuri’s new job, she was confused why Yuri always come home late and with many bruises and wounds. She thought that Yuri had a fight with her uncle.

One day, when Tiffany come to her college to tell that she want to quit, they tell her that she don’t have to quit. Someone paid her intuition fees for the next semester. So, she can continue her study.

Tiffany thought that the person who paid is Taeyeon. She tried to call Taeyeon but she failed.

Tiffany POV

“where do you go, yuri-ah?” i asked

“work” she said coldly

“but, today is Sunday”

“so?”

“you’re not free today?”

“no” she said and leave

I follow her from behind. I want to know where is she going. And what job she will do today. She didn’t know that i followed her. She ride her motorcycle, and i used taxi to follow her.

“what palce it is?” i asked to myself

The place is bad. There’s a lot of “scary man” with a big body and tattoes.

“what is she doing here?”

I’m looking for Yuri in the crowd. I barged into the crowd, when someone called her name.

“yah! Now, we will see our fighter Kwon Yuri vs Choi Siwon”

I saw Yuri with a black tanktop in the center. I was shocked to know her want to fight with a man.

When the match start, the man named Siwon kicked Yuri’s abs. She fell, and Siwon still kicked her, she hit her with his fist. He didn’t give a chance to Yuri to hit him back.

It hurts, i felt a pain to see her that way. I wanna help, but i can’t do anything. Someone beside me said that there’s no rules in this game.

Finally the refree separate them. Yuri tried to wake, but she failed. She collapsed, she hold her abs. Bruises everywhere, in her face, hands, a whole Yuri’s body.

“and the winner is...... Choi Siwon!!!” the refree said

Someone help Yuri to wake. She carried Yuri to another room. I chase them.

I entered the room, there’s Yuri on the couch. She groaned in pain.

Yuri POV

I lost, i hate it. I can’t earn money today.

My head feel dizzy. I felt a pain in my body, a whole body.

“yuri-ah, what are you doing?” Tiffany suddenly stood in front of me

“fany-ah?” i shocked

“so, this is what you do? You came home late, bruises everywhere. It’s because this ing fight?” she said in high tone

“hey you, don’t yelled at her!” Sooyoung said

“who are you?” Tiffany asked

“Yuri’s friend. Do you know? She did it for you!” Sooyoung said in high tone

“Sooyoung-ah” i said weakly

“shut up, yul. She had to know about it. She has to know the truth”

“what do you talking about?” Tiffany said in confusion

“Yuri did all this for you. This fight is for you. She did it to earn much money, to paid your intuition fees. She didn’t want you to quit. She want you to continue your study and reach your dream” Sooyoung explained

“what??” Tiffany’s face was blank. “is it true, Yul?” she said in lower tone

I nodded weakly. She cupped my face with her palm

“why you did it, Yul? You don’t have to do this” Tiffany said while crying

“i..i.. i just want to help you. I don’t want you to quit” i didn’t look her eyes

“don’t hurt yourself Yuri-ah. It’s okay if i have to quit, i’m okay” she sobbed

“no! Please don’t. Trust me please, Tiff. I know i’m not as reach as Taeyeon. but i’ll work hard. I’ll earn more money to paid your intuition fees” i stared her

“but-“ she want to said something but i cut her off

“please trust me, Tiff” i begged

She didn’t answer. She want to leave, but i catch her, i grabbed her hand.

“please tiff”

“why? Why you care about me?”

“don’t ask that question”

“if you don’t want to answer, then stop doing this” she walk away

“That's because i love you, Tiffany. I love everything about you. Everything you did, it's just made this feeling grew stronger. I know it isn't rasional. But that's the truth, that's what i feel” i shouted

She turned around, and walk towards me.

“i’m sorry Yul. I still love Taeyeon so much. You know, She’s a good girl” Tiffany said softly

“yeah i know. I know she’s better than me” i tried to hold my tears

“i’m sorry yul” she cries

“but, let me do this for you, Tiff. Until Taeyeon come back, and take you back” i said weakly

“Yul, i don’t want you to be hurt”

“please Tiff. Trust me, i can do this”

She hugged me tightly, and didn’t say anything. Just hug and cries. I hug her back, rub her hair softly.
