Time flew too fast. It’s already almost the end of 1^st semester, Mr. Kim told us to do a project. A duet project. She told us to have a song partner and start composing romantic lyrics. I’m problematic because no one is picking me to be his/her partner.

“Ms. Lee, you still don’t have a partner?” Mr. Kim asked me.

“Ah. No seonsaeng” I answered.

“I’ll be her partner”

I looked to see who he was. AH! It’s Minwoo!

“Eh?!” everyone said.

“But Minwoo, I want to be your partner” a classmate said.

“I will be her partner Mr. Kim” Minwoo approached me and winked.

“Bu- but.. Why?” I stumbled.

“Hmm. Nothing. You’re just fun to be with” he smiled at me.

Oh my gosh! I’m flattering.

“Okay. Good. I’ll give you all 10 minutes to think of a title for your song and then give it to me for my approval. Is that clear?” Mr. Kim announced.

“Neh!” all of us answered.

(Minwoo’s POV)

Why all of the sudden I’m becoming close to Jung-Ah? I even said I want her to be my partner. Ah! She’s smart that’s it! She can compose lyrics very well.

“Jung-Ah, are you thinking a title?” I asked her who stares only at the wall.

“Eh?!” she answered unconsciously.

“I said are you thinking a title?” I repeated.

“Ah. Ani” she said then approached Mr. Kim. I wonder what she asked.

(Your POV)

“Seonsaeng” I politely said to Mr. Kim then he looked at me.

“Can we compose a song that comes from the heart?” I asked.

He fixed his glasses and smiled a little.

“What are you thinking?” he questioned me.

“Ah!” I became empty.

“Are you in love Ms. Lee?” he continued.

“Seongsaeng. I don’t know. Maybe” I confused said.

“Haha! Yes. It must come from the heart” – Mr. Kim

“Kamsahamnida” I bowed and return where Minwoo is sitting.

“What did you say to Mr. Kim?” Minwoo asked me.

“I just ask him if it must come from the heart” I answered looking at the plain paper.

He laughed.

“Wae? Any problem?” I looked at him.

“Nothing” – Minwoo.

“Have you been in love?” I asked him courageously.

He just looked at me in shock.

“Ah. Mianhae” I make an apology.

“No. No it’s okay. I’ve been in love for the 1^st time, I guess?” he answered.

“I don’t know. I think I’m in love with my secret admirer. Weird right?” he laughed a little.

“Eh!?”

(Minwoo’s POV)

“I don’t know. I think I’m in love with my secret admirer. Weird right?” I answered to Jung-Ah’s question.

“Eh?!” she answered then I’m surprised when she fell from the chair.

“Jung-Ah!” I yelled.

Mr. Kim approached us immediately.

“What happened?!” Mr. Kim asked us.

Jung-Ah stood up, fixed her clothes and glasses.

“Nothing Mr. Kim. I’m fine” she answered.

Eh? Is she crazy?

“Are you sure you okay?” I asked her and she nodded.

“Don’t worry Mr. Kim, I just fell” she apologized to Mr. Kim.

“I thought you fainted” I said to her.

“OA!” she said strongly.

OA? What’s OA?

“What is it?” I curiously asked her.

“OA. Over Acting” she said.

“I’m not OA. I’m just worried” I answered.

Me? Worried? Hahaha!

(Your POV)

“I’m not OA. I’m just worried” he said to me.

Kyaaaah~ he’s worried? Oh my gosh!

Oh right. I fell on my seat because of the shock that Minwoo said. He’s in love with his secret admirer. He’s in love with me. He’s in love with Lee Jung-Ah. He’s in love with a nerd.

Wait! He doesn’t know me. How can he be in love?

“You don’t know her yet. Why fall in love?” I asked him.

“I don’t know, too! Don’t be such an annoying! Just think of a title already!” he scolded me.

“I’m just asking. Arrasseo! You think too!” I answered madly.

Couple of minutes passes by.

“Ah! I love you goodbye” he suddenly spoke.

“You scared me!” I hold my chest.

“What is I love you goodbye?” I asked.

“It’s a title babo! Keke” he said.

We discussed about the title he suggested. But I don’t like the way he explained it. So I give another choice.

“If I have a lover” I said.

“Explain!” he told me.

“If I have a lover. Why? The lyrics must be about a girl and a boy who dreamt about having a relationship and they both love each other” I explained.

“Aaaaah!” he said long and thinks.

“Got my point?” I looked at him.

“Wait!” He holds my face with his bare hand.

“I’m trying to involve myself in the lyrics” he continued.

“Yah Minwoo. I can’t breathe properly!” I removed his hand. But to be honest, I’m fluttering inside. His hand smells good. I smiled a little.

Seconds later…

“Okay! I’m okay with that. Let’s ask Mr. Kim already” he pulled me to Mr. Kim.

Mr. Kim approved with the title. Now the lyrics are the only problem. He gave us 1 week to compose. Then we’ll sing it for our final exam this semester.

(Minwoo’s POV)

“If I have a lover” is the title of our song. I think for awhile and involve myself about it.

“If I have a girlfriend, there’s so many things I wanted to do and always been jealous” my secret admirer is the girl I think while this lines started to run into my mind. I can involve myself so I agreed with Jung-Ah’s decision. Told you she’s smart.

Mr. Kim gave us 1 week to compose. Jung-Ah told me to compose lyrics that comes from the heart & I’ve always wanted to do when I have a girlfriend. But, we should compose together right? Aish.
