Some people say it’s a gift.
Some people say it’s a curse.
If one is lucky enough to be granted this opportunity, it will always come with a price too costly for certain people to pay. That’s what love in the royal palace is. One can barely escape the obstacles that were laid out for him because there’ll always be someone behind him like a shadow, observing each actions with such precision until it suffocated the poor victim and slowly drive him to the edge.
“Your Highness,” the servant called out, his hands quivering as he clutched the end of his sleeves tightly, trying to pass on the pain from his heart.
“It’s best if we end this suffering now.”
Foreword
I had actually contemplated a lot before I decided to post this fic because school is reopening in a few days >.< But then I decided to post it up so yeah lol. I really love KrisLay so much I can die and there's a massive shortage of fics about them both in Asianfanfics and Livejournal so I'm contributing to spread the love~
This fic will obviously be angsty, but there's also some fluff as well in store! The setting will be in the 1870s (i guess?) and the palace are like the Victorian-styled era ones. Am I even making sense lolololol. It will be mostly around 5-8 chapters, since I'm a er at chaptered fics. But I have all the ideas planned out in my head so the only thing I have to do is to type it all out. I'm updating this every Fri/Sat/Sun so I hope I'll be able to finish this soon and sort out my almost abandoned Kyuwook fic ;___;
