"Yes! We are finally here!"
My mum set down the boxes as I walked around the apartment with only my bag.

"A-ahem, aren't you going to help me?" She eyed me and I shook my head
 
"As expected of this little girl!" She rolled her eyes

"Mum I've grown up!"

"Whatever you say, go and check out your room"
I nodded and took my luggages and dragged them to my room.

Welcome to Victoria Song's little life. After my dad's death, my mum decided that we should move to another place. Don't want that pain memory stuck here forever.

So now there's only me, my mum and my little sister, Joomin.

I sighed and walked in my new room.
'New life, new school, new people, new places, same old me'

Soon later the doorbell rang. I stayed in my room while my mum went to get the door.

"Vic ah! Yooin is here!"
I sighed and went out of my room.

Yooin, she is my best friend back in Busan. She was always there for me back then, but now, I don't think she can.

"Unnie!"
She attacked me with her hug and I hugged her back.

"Unnie! I'll miss you so so so much! I don't know how I'm gonna survive there now without you"
I smiled as she said those words.

"Aniyo Yooin! You can! Just focus on your studies, and once we finished our studies, we can go live together in a big big bungalow"
I joked with her.

"And where are you going to get your money from?"
My mum interrupt.

"Muum! This is Yooin and me talk, don't come in and interrupt us!"
She laughed away.

"Come on Yooin! Lets go to my room, I guess there is safer"
I closed the door and went in to my room closing and locking it.

"Wow, this place is so much better than back at Busan!"
She walked around in awe staring at almost everything.

"What do you expect? This is Seoul!"
I laughed and she laughed back.

"Hey! Busan's not that bad too ya' know!"
She mearly scolded me.

"Of course! I missed there like so badly!"
I slomped onto the bed and laid down.

"I don't want to go to this so called rich and famous school! I want Busan! Where everything is just so, casual!"

"What school are you in?"

"Kirin High"

"Oh, my, god you got into Kirin High?! Why wouldn't you not want to go there? I would kill just to step inside that school!"

"Yah!" 
I knocked her head.

"Not everything you like is what I like you know!"

"I know I know, well, I have to go now, don't forget about me when you are making friends! Show them this!"
She showed the friendship bracelet we bought at Busan saying 'Best Friends'.
I laughed and nod.

"Will do! Remember to text me!"

"I will!"
We sent our farewell goodbye hug and she left the apartment.
'Will I ever laugh like that again now?'

I sighed and laid down on my bed, but the very next moment my mum called me.

"Victoria! Go buy some ddukbukki!"

"Nice timing mum!" I rolled my eyes. "Go ask Joomin to buy!"

"She's still young! Ppalli!"

"She's 15! Uhrg fine!"

I got up from my bed and walked lazily to the market. I was really tired and just wanted to rest.

"Ahjumma, one packet of ddukbukki please!"

She gave it to me and I handed over the money to her. At that moment I really just needed to get back home and sleep. My head was already facing the floor. As I was walking I bumped onto someone which made both of us fall on our feet. I looked up and saw this charming face with blonde hair.

"Mianhe!" He got up and took the ddukbukki and offered me a hand.
I took his hand shyly and he pulled me up and handed me the ddukbukki, but his hands were still holding mine.

"U-uh" I looked at our hands and he quickly let go of mine.

"Uh, sorry again!" He bowed quickly and walked away.

I felt something on my cheek and it happens that I was blushing.
'What?! Blushing?!'

I turned around and looked at him.
'Well, he's tall, good looking, how can I not blush?'

I turned around and walked back home.
