At 10 A.M., Kim Joojin woke up from a long day at work last night. She was at the office of the cosmetics company, which D.O.’s parents owned. They met when she bumped into him as him and his parents were walking past her in the inventory section of the building. She was carrying a heavy box of binders to give to her supervisor and she dropped the box onto her foot, to which D.O. helped lift off of her foot. As she could barely walk, he helped her to her desk.

He kept visiting her until he foot got better. As it did, he asked her out on a date, and that’s what lead them to a beautiful relationship. Her phone beeped with a text message. She rolled herself out of bed and walked to her desk a couple of feet away. It was a text message from D.O.

Happy birthday my angel!

I know that you’re still in bed so get up quick.

I have a surprise for you waiting out on the table.

Joojin quickly went into her kitchen to see the table with steaming hot food. Her eyes widened at the sight. She saw a pink sticky note by the plate of fried rice with a mushroom and cheese omelet.

Surprise! Breakfast made by me, your loveable boyfriend!

Sorry I had to leave without you knowing.

I have other surprises in store for you, so I hope you’re ready to accept them with a warm heart, which I know that you already possess. <33

By the way, you look so cute asleep with your mouth open. Haha. Just kidding babe.

Joojin giggled at his silliness. “Babo.” She sat down and smiled at the food. “Komaowo D.O. oppa~” She took her fork and started to eat. “Mmmmhmmm. Delicious.”

After eating her breakfast, she trailed her way to the bathroom to wash up. As she got there, another sticky note was stuck onto her mirror.

I want you to brush your teeth so when you see me, I can see your pearly whites as you smile back at me.

Also, look in your closet to see the outfit you’ll be wearing today.

I advise you to wear shorts under the dress as where you’re going next is going to be windy.

I hope I picked the right size for you. If I didn’t, call me. If I did, just text me. Arasoyo baby~?

Joojin raised an eyebrow. “Am I going to find a lot of sticky notes everywhere now?” she asked herself as she giggled. After doing her regular bathroom routine, she went to her closet to see the outfit D.O. got for her. It was a lavender colored gathered-waist striped sleeveless dress. She quickly wore it and went to her makeup table, where, yet again another sticky note was stuck onto her mirror.

After putting on make-up, please go to the coffee shop just down the street.

There, you’ll see one of my friends there waiting for you.

Now hurry! He gets bored easily.

D.O.

Her face brightened, “Omo. I’m going to see one of D.O oppa’s friends? I haven’t seen any of them in a while.” She quickly texted D.O. about the dress and went on her way to the coffee shop as she was told. When she got there, she searched the vicinity until she saw a hand waving her over. She smiled at the person and ran over to hug him, “Kai oppa!”

He chuckled as he hugged her back, “D.O. did tell you that I do get bored easily, right?”

Joojin giggled, “Ne~ Mianhae. I’ll buy you coffee to make up for it.” She started her way to the counter to order, but Kai grabbed her wrist.

“No need.” He lifted up his own coffee and another one. He handed it to her, “For you.”

“Komaowo Kai oppa.” She said and accepted the drink.

Kai shook his head, “Don’t thank me. Thank your boyfriend.”

“Huh?” She gave him a confused look. He pointed to the cup. She turned the cup and saw another sticky not. She sighed, “Another one?” which only caused Kai to laugh.

Hang out with Kai for now.

I need to prepare more surprises for you my love.

D.O.

She looked up at Kai. He held out his arm, “Ready for our little time together?” She couldn’t help but laugh and looped her own arm around his. After hanging out with Kai, they went to an ice cream shop, where another one of D.O.’s friends was at. Kai walked over to him and handed my hand into his. “Take care of her for D.O. hyung Sehun .”

“Ne~” Sehun responded with an adorable smile.

As Kai left, Sehun immediately pulled Joojin over to the counter. “What’s the rush Sehun ah?” Joojin asked.

“Kai hyung spent a lot of time with you. He went over the planned schedule.” Sehun said with a pout, “Which flavor do you want noona? I will buy it for you since it’s your birthday!”

“There’s a schedule?” Joojin questioned. ‘D.O. What are you planning?’ she thought to herself.

“Hurry noona. We don’t have much time together if you just blank out.” Sehun scolded. Joojin quickly chose strawberry cheesecake as he chose the normal chocolate ice cream. As their ice cream had arrived, they talked about random things, which Sehun mostly talked about.

After eating, yet another sticky note was passed to Joojin by a worker.

After your time with Sehun, meet me at the movie theater.

Should we watch a comedy? Romance? Horror?

Hahahaha I know that you hate horror films.

Joojin couldn’t help but smile at the note. She stood up and looked at Sehun, who looked up at her with puppy dog eyes. She smiled at him, “I think I should meet D.O. oppa at the movie theater.”

Sehun couldn’t help but laugh, causing Joojin to be confused, “Yeah. Meet ‘D.O. hyung’.” He laughed again.

“Why are you laughing?” she asked. He shrugged his shoulders with a secretive smile and let her go on her way.

Once she arrived at the movie theater, she got out her phone to call D.O., but then someone block her view of her phone with a bouquet of roses. Joojin looked up, expecting D.O., but to her dismay, it was Suho. He looked at her with a smile, “You’re bummed to see me, huh?”

She shook her head, “Aniyo. I guess I should’ve expected this.” She accepted the bouquet and saw another sticky note.

Mianhae Joojin ah. You can’t see me just yet.

Later in the day, you will have me all to yourself.

I promise.

D.O.

She let out a laugh, “Is this going to continue? Please answer me honestly.”

Suho let out a hearty laugh and smiled at her, “There are two more people you are going to see before you see D.O. I promise.” She gave him a suspicious look. ‘Well, Suho oppa never likes to lie, so I guess he is telling the truth.’ “So, what are we going to watch?” Joojin grabbed his arm and they walked to the ticket booth.

After watching the movie, Suho drove her to an arcade. She gave him a queer look as she got out of the car, leaving behind her bouquet of roses as Suho said that he’ll hold onto it and will get them back from D.O. He shrugged his shoulders, “Chanyeol chose the place.”

She raised an eyebrow, “So it’s Chanyeol’s turn, huh?”

“Oops.” Suho tried to feign innocence. “I wasn’t supposed to say that.” He gave her a secret wink and drove off.

Joojin let out a sigh and went into the arcade. It wasn’t hard to find him as he was the loudest person in there and he had to be the tall guy dancing on the DDR [Dance Dance Revoultion] game. As he finished, he turned around, just to get shocked to see Joojin looking at him with crossed arms. “J-Joojin ah! What are you doing here…” He looked at his watch, “…so early?”

She gave him a look, “I know that I’m meeting each of you before I see D.O. oppa.” Chanyeol’s ears turned red as he wanted to surprise her. She looked at the fighting games and immediately squealed in joy, “OMO! I haven’t played this in forever!” She sat on a chair at the game ‘TEKKEN’. “Chanyeol, challenge me!”

Chanyeol obediently sat in the chair next to her and they both chose their character to fight with. Joojin picked Lee as he looked cute as Chanyeol chose Xiao Yu as she was pretty. (lol dumb reasons. Sorry I’m trying to think of random things as I’m rushing to finish this.) Chanyeol was winning at first, but then Joojin won in the end.

“Wah~ I didn’t know you were good at TEKKEN.” He said as he started to applaud. Joojin laughed and they continued to play aracade games. Just then Chanyeol looked at his watch. “Oh! I guess my time’s up.” He handed Joojin a fold up piece of paper. She unfolded it, feeling the adhesive as she knew immediately that it was another sticky note.

You have one more person to hang out with before you finally meet me.

Mianhae if you wanted to spend some quality time with me, but I promise that this will be worth it.

Well… I hope. Haha See you soon babe!. *Kiss* (He kissed the paper. Lol xD)

Joojin went to look back up at Chanyeol, but only to get shocked to see Baekhyun. He chuckled, “Surprised to see me?”

She tried to calm her hammering heart and then she slapped his arm, “Why do you always do that whenever we met? I swear, it’s like you’re the creeper instead of Chanyeol.”

“Excuse me, but I don’t have pictures of myself always giving a creepy glance at people now do I?” Baekhyun retorted teasingly.

All Joojin did was pout. Then Baekhyun grabbed her wrist and pulled her outside to his car. As he pushed her into the passenger seat, he asked, “How good are your singing skills?”

“Moh?” she asked. “Waeyo?”

He closed the door and went into the driver’s side. As he his car, he looked at her, “Because we’re going to a karaoke bar.”

Her eyes widened, “Morago?!” Before she could protest, he sped off to the closest karaoke bar. Using his strength to drag Joojin in, Baekhyun finally pulled her into the room. He sat her down onto the couch and went up to the TV to get the book of songs they could sing. After choosing, Baekhyun decided to sing SNSD TaeTiSeo’s song ‘Twinkle’. Being the fanboy he was, he happily sang and danced along to the music.

Joojin couldn’t help but smile at the sight and started to loosen up. She sang and danced along to IU’s ‘You and I’ and SHINee’s ‘Sherlock’. After taking a break, a familiar tune came on. It was Exo-K’s ‘What is Love’. (Pretend that the boys on Exo-K aren’t in this group in this story. Sorry for any confusion.)

Just then, a very familiar voice sang, “Girl. I can’t explain what I feel.” Joojin looked behind her towards the door to see her boyfriend D.O. entering the room with a microphone in hand and up at his lips as he continued to sing with the help of Baekhyun. She stared in amazement as their beautiful voices molded together really well.

As the song ended, Joojin ran up to him to give him a big hug, “You were great oppa!” Baekhyun gave out a cough, indicating to give him credit as well. She smiled, “You were great too Baekhyun oppa.” He smiled.

D.O. placed a quick kiss on her lips and smiled at her, “Mianhaeyo for all the surprises. I hope I didn’t disappoint you in any way.”

Joojin gave him another kiss and smiled back, “You can never disappoint me oppa.”

D.O. gave Baekhyun a look and looked back at Joojin, “It’s getting late. Let’s go to my place for dinner, hmm?” Joojin’s stomach responded to him first as it growled, causing all of them to laugh. The couple both waved at Baekhyun goodbye and went to D.O.’s car.

As they arrived at his mansion, the guards and maids/ butlers kindly greeted them as well as his parents in the living room. “Ahh. Joojin ah! You’re here? Happy birthday honey.” His umma greeted.

She bowed to her, “Ne. kamsaimda omonim.” His appa greeted her with a warm hug and greeting.

D.O. guided her to the kitchen, where a small table was decorated with a white table cloth, topped with the normal eating necessities and a candles. With the snap of his fingers, the light dimmed and butlers came out with their dinner. D.O. pulled out her seat for her and quickly sat down as he was also hungry.

After dinner, D.O. brought her up to his bedroom to get some privacy. They both laid in his bed, cuddling with each other as they watched a movie, but they both paid no attention to it as they were busy talking about her day with the other boys and sharing some intimate moments as well.

Before things could heat up, D.O. backed away and sat up. “Joojin ah. I need to ask you something really important.”

She too sat up and faced him, “What is it oppa?” She curled a strand of her hair behind her ear.

He nervously looked around, doing his best to not look her in the eye, “There’s a real reason why I made the other guys hang out with you today on your birthday.” Joojin smiled and pecked his lips, encouraging him to continue. He stuck his hand into his pocket, searching for something. “I know it might be fast, but I think I’m ready to take the next step.”

“Next step?” she asked, her tone filled with confusion.

D.O. took her hand in his and gazed down at her, “The next step…in our life…together.” He revealed a small, shiny, circular object in the palm of his hand. Joojin gasped at the sight of the diamond ring. “Joojin ah, you have made my life full with happiness and joy. And I want that to continue when you become my wife.” D.O. stood up from the bed and got onto one knee. “Kim Joojin. Will you take me, your wonderful boyfriend, as your husband?”

Joojin knew the answer to his question. She answered, “No.”

His eyes widened, “M-Moh? N-No?” It looked like he was ready to have a heart attack.

She couldn’t help but giggle and she planted a kiss on his lips. “Now, I will marry you.”

D.O. backed away from the kiss and stood up quickly, “Why did you say no?! I felt like I made a fool out of myself!” he yelled at her.

She stood up as well and wrapped her arms around his neck, “I just wanted to see your big eyes again.” Joojin imitated his expression. (O________O) She giggled again, “It’s cute when you freak out and make that face. It’s…y.”

He smirked, “y you say?” D.O. pushed her towards the bed and hovered above Joojin. “I can show you a different y face if you’d like.” He purred in her ear and trailed kisses down her neck. He lightly grasped Joojin’s left hand and slipped the ring onto her ring finger.

They both backed away from each other and gazed at the ring. She looked at it, “It’s beautiful oppa.”

“Not as beautiful as you jagiya.” He whispered. Joojin insides melted and pulled him into a kiss. As they started to get more and more intimate, they backed away to catch their breaths only to say “I love you” to each other as they continued what they were doing as they both lost their ities to each other that night.
