~Author POV~

"No! Don't! I beg you! Please!" Maci begged

Her body splayed on the floor, she held her upper body up by her frail arms

"You told me! He was your family! He was not your boyfriend! How dare you take him away from me?!" Yoonji bellowed

Maci crawled backwards with her fingers clawing at the floor

Yoonji looked down at her, the axe strongly gripped with her two hands complimented the confident grin on her face

"I won't run away again! I won't pick the lock!" Maci's cried "S-STOP!"

She didn't want to die yet. Her body trembled at the thought that her head would soon be decapitated and she would become nothing more than a body swimming in a pool of her own blood

She is at a rip young age, she has a family to return to and Luhan who she desperately wants to reconcile with

Revulsion and panic settled within her

Her life is just starting, it can't just end like this...Could it?

Yoonji inched forward as Maci scooted back

Like a hunting game where the prey is cornered with no where to run or hide

Without food and water for 3 days now, Maci was undeniably weak

Yoonji lifted the axe above her head

Maci glanced at the shiny metal sparkling before her

Her arms gave out, her soft brown quivering eyes rolled into the back of her head

A heavy thud followed her collapse, the cold concrete floor held her body 

Yoonji closed her eyes, ready to swing

A knocking sound echoed throughout the house, Yoonji snarled knowing way to well that it came from the front door

"Yoonji! I know you're there. Don't hurt her!" Kai growled

Kris pounded on the door frantically

Glass shattered behind Yoonji, the tiny window above the basement that was covered by a curtain

A bloody fist appeared before the person jumped down

Yoonji exhaled with tears welling in her eyes "Luhan"

The wooden handle slipped out of her fingers as she dropped to the floor

The axe tip crashed directly onto maci's right thigh

Puncturing through her clothing and skin, red drops of blood soaked through the pants and dripped onto the floor

But it didn't matter, Maci was knocked out cold

Yoonji cackled violently while Luhan stared in disbelief for a short moment

The police broke down the doors

Luhan now realizing the large amount of blood Maci lost was putting pressure on the wound

"Maci! Maci!" Kai slid beside Luhan "Hyung! Your hand is bleeding!" 

Luhan embraced Maci's body "It's alright now. Oppa is here"

Breaking! It has been reported that girlfriend of EXO member Luhan was kidnapped by a sasaeng fan and tortured for days without food or water. This was the reason why several exo members were missing in the extremely large red carpet event a few days ago. It is also made known that Luhan and his girlfriend both suffered wounds and lost a large amount of blood. They are currently being treated in Seoul hospital, we hope and pray for the couple's quick recovery. This devastating and horrifying news may start a new law for the protection of idols and their loved ones. This has been Seoul night news reporting.

~Author POV~ 

Maci's eyes fluttered open

White, White, White surrounded her, it burdened her and inflicted fear within her

She tried to pull herself up so she could get a better view, but subconciously she already knew

She was in the hospital

A throbbing pain in her leg stopped her movement

"Maci! You're awake!" Sehun gasped

Her voice quivered with fear "W-where is she?"

Luhan entered the room, precisely cutting Sehun off 

"Maci!" Luhan with an arm hanging in a sling rushed towards the bed "How are you feeling?"

Sehun cleared his throat and helped Maci sit up

"What happened to your arm? Was it because of me?" Worry filled her eyes

"Silly, don't worry about me. I'm fine. Does your leg hurt a lot?"

"I'm just umm I'll be outside if you need me" Sehun tossed in but they did not respond to him

The couple looked lovingly into each others eyes, too busy to even notice Sehun

"Really? At least pretend I exist!" Sehun shut the door behind him

Maci chuckled lightly 

"what happened to Yoonji unnie? She was so close to killing me. I thought I would never see you again!" Maci pouted to stop the hot tears from spilling

"She's under custody of police. It turns out she has a mental disorder so she can't be charged with your kidnapping"

"Mental disorder?"

"Schizophrennia. She was disoriented. The doctor said she would hear voices telling her to do things and have illusions. There are other symptoms too"

Maci stared blankly, taking in all the new information

"She will be locked up in a mental facility to avoid her hurting other people"

~Maci POV~

She is locked behind a white room for the rest of her life because her brain decided to play tricks on her mind

What Yoonji lived through was not reality but a nightmare which she could not escape

so I sobbed for her
