He doesn't know why he never have a confidence when it comes to her.

Since the first time he met her at the company, he knew that she was different. He knew that even before he entered the company that she doesn't like a ny other girl. She's just different.

He knew that she was pretty, but when she met her for the first time, even pretty wasn't the right word for him to describe her. For him, she's eye-blinding, beautiful goddess, fairy. She has the beauty of an angel. Plus she has that calm and reserve attitude, kind and caring to other people around her. He couldn't help but adore her at the first sight.

But there's something that make him shy to be around her. He doesn't know what or why. It's not like he doesn't have a female friend before. In fact, he has plenty, but this is different. He lost his confidence every time he met her.

Yes, she is his dongsaeng, but she is his sunbae in this industry.

She is too adorable, that's why he has a lot of fanboy, not to mention idol fanboys. He can tell that some of his sunbaes were also her biggest fanboys.

Compare to her and her idol fanboy, he is nothing. He is just a rookie. He doesn't dare to make a move to her first.

She's so pure, kind-heart girl. He was afraid she doesn't want to at least befriend with him because he wasn't like her. Though he know that this maybe just his excuse of his coward attitude.

Yes he was and is still coward, especially when it comes to her. He stil remember the day when he, Kai and Sehun had a photoshoot with her and Yoona. He couldn't control his feeling and his heart that about to explode anytime. He was shy and try to calm himself for the entire photoshoot. 

He didn't talk much with her, afraid that she would find out what was inside his heart. Yet he was success enough to have a few conversation with her, though it was only about their daily life and schedule. Bored and dull topic, he knew but just didn't care.

But he still couldn't manage his overflowing emotion every time he met her which was not often due to his schedule in China. That's why everytime he met her, he couldn't help but stealing glances to her. Just like what he did during SM Town LA. He tried to be as careful as possible when he looked at her, afraid that other people will realise his glances toward her. Or worse, she realise that he was looking at her.

Yet he was happy when their eyes met and they bowed and she said this simple word, "Good job, Luhan Oppa". If he can fly, then he would've fly to milkyway.

His confidence raised for one level. But dropped again when he saw her did the same to her Kyuhyun Oppa, Changmin Oppa, Minho, and her other oppas. His heart sank for an unknown reason.

That's why he doesn't dare to put his hope high to have a small conversation with her anymore. Not even today where he will perform a collaboration with sub-group. He tries really hard to control his feeling and his eyes to not steal glances to her perfect figures. He doesn't have that thing called confidence to talk to her evor small stuffs. No.

Until he heard she call his name. "Yes, Seohyunnie?". "Oppa what's wrong with you? You look stiff and nervous.. What happen?" He just smile, don't know what answer he will give. "I'm okay. Maybe i'm just nervous. You know, this is my first time perform in front of thousands of peoples and my first time having a collaboration stage.." He just gave her one of the dumbest reason he can ever give. Now she will think of him as a real coward, or worse loser, that's what he think. But no, she's just smiling and chuckles can be heard from her.

"Why do you laugh?" "Sorry Oppa, i never meant to mock you, really. I just find it funny if you're still nervous perform in front of thousands audiences. You did this before right? You performed for more that 3000 audiences for your showcase, and for almost 15000 audiences in Indonesia, also thousands more in LA. Then why you must feel afraid? As far as i know, you and the rest of EXO did a great job, always. So just blow away those worriness and enjoy this performance. Don't think hard about this collaboration and make it as a burden. Think as if you're performing with EXO, and enjoy the stage. I know you can do it, oppa" She said that while smiling. A very beautiful smile, eye-blinding smile. He smile back to her unknowingly while trying hard to control his heart beat.

"Oppa let's go. It's our turn now. Luhan Oppa FIGHTING!". She smile while raised a little fist in the air. He smiled and laugh a little to her. He know right then and there he have to do his best for this collaboration. Not only for himself and the audience, but also for her.

The collaboration stage end with a huge success. He can feel it. People were cheered for them during the performance and he know that everything went well. He meet her again when they're on their way to changing room. She smile when she saw him "Hi, Oppa how was it? It was fun right?" He just nod while smiling to her. "Okay oppa, i have to go changing. I'll see you soon"

"Wait, Seohyunnie" He call her unconsciously. "Yes, oppa?" He actually doesn't know why he call her and what he want to talk to her. His heart starts to beat uncontrollably and his palms get colder. Blame that damn nervous.

"No, it's just....... I want to ask you, can i be your friend?" He blurt out that words and in the next second he feels like he want to jump off the cliffs. "Eh, what do you mean oppa? we're already friend right?"

"What i mean Seohyunnie, i want to your friend whom you can depend anytime anywhere. You can call me whenever you need someone to talk to and i will try to help you as best as i can. Not just friend, but best friend or maybe like an oppa to you". Stupid reason he know. But there's no turning back.

But then she smile, "Sure oppa. I know that you are a good guy. And i will always say yes to befriend with someone like you." "Okay, thank you Seohyunnie." He gives her his best smile and she smile back at him before walking to her changing room while humming the song that they just performed.

Maybe, he thought. Maybe this the best way.

To befriend with her, and know her little by little. With that he can gain more confidence.

Who knows that maybe one day, he will confidence enough to start make a move to her. That he is not just a best friend he can always count on, but as a man who can always be with her anytime anywhere.
