It’s was night when both of them left them police station. The night was quiet but cold. The spring was still not here. Even if she was dressed in her jacket she felt cold when the waft of wind passed through her. She griped tighter on her jacket.

Suddenly she felt weight on her shoulders. Black leather jacket was covering her small shoulders. The girl lifted her head to the boy walking near her.

“We should keep you warm Miss Hope “

He smiled at her. The feeling of safety didn’t leave her all this time. When he was near her like now walking just few centimeters away she felt like he was holding her hand all this time. The girl diverted her eyes to her small hands but both of them even didn’t touched tonight. The feeling was strange but pleasant. Soon her eyes drifted back to the man walking next to her.

He was taller than her and nicely built. He was dressed not in uniform like other officers but in simple jeans and black t-shirt. When they were walking in busy night streets to reach his car many girls turned to look at him and she felt uncomfortable. It was not from glares that she was getting but because she felt vulnerable and small next to him even if he gave her safety feeling.

Suddenly something warm touched small of her back. Warmth filled her body. Like someone started up the fire near but it disappeared after few seconds.

“We are here. “

Both of them were standing near luxurious black car. She stared with surprise at the shine black thing. He laughed at her surprised state. Slowly opening the door he touched her back and the same feeling appeared again. The man pushed her gently near the car.

“Sit Miss Hope. “

He whispered in her ear. Shiver ran through her body. 

The way to her home was quiet and the shivering didn’t disappear…
