Though they had been nothing but mere servants underneath the heels of the vampires, a hierarchy ruled them all. Werewolves were the most despicable, frowned upon by the Society. By choice, they executed the most sinful ceremony. Their desire for human flesh drove them to the most abhorrent methods.
Those who chose the darkness would never be accepted in the Society. The selfishness of a werewolf was enough to repulse even the eudemons, the angels. Even the dirtied blood of mutts stood above them. The Society believed in a natural order. It was an order that mandated the line between mortals and immortals never to be crossed. It was an order that select mortals failed to heed.
