The sun was setting, making crimson tides against the orange-yellow background. Gongchan sighed lovingly.

“Girlfriend troubles, Channie?” asked CNU. He was sitting in the middle of Gongchan and Baro in the backseat of the car. Sandeul had claimed the front seat with Jinyoung, after exclaiming rather robustly that he was tired from musical rehearsals.

“No,” Gongchan replied shortly, still looking out of the window.

“Oh.” CNU turned to Baro, who had his cap down on his face. The light snores coming from his right side indicated conversation may be futile. He tried again. “Boyfriend problems?”

Gongchan tore his eyes away from the scenery. His mouth went into a perfect ‘O’. “Hyung!”

CNU shrugged his shoulders. Then, he winced. He had forgotten that their latest concept for their MV was a bad-boy image. Baro’s studded jacket hurt, dammit. They had an underage member here – Gongchan at least, never mind about Sandeul’s and Baro’s questionable ages – why didn’t they childproof anything? He made a mental note to tell the manager.

“I’m open to anything,” CNU said, before he realised how it sounded, “I mean, I’m not gay but even if you are, well, I would be behind you! Wait, that sounded really wrong–”

“Stop mentally scarring the maknae,” called Jinyoung lazily from the front. “Why were you sighing Gongchan?”

“The scenery is gorgeous,” Gongchan replied honestly, scooting closer to the door to leave a gap between himself and CNU. “It’d make a good colour for a jacket.”

Jinyoung glanced out of the window. It was a brilliant hue of… black.

“Yeah, sure,” Jinyoung said unwillingly. It was dilemmas like this that made being a leader difficult. Should he compliment the maknae for thinking out of the box? Eventhough black jackets have been around for centuries probably, since Beethoven’s black capes, it was certainly a better thought than whatever was going through CNU’s mind. Or should he crush his poor soul and tell him that no, purple was obviously the new black, duh.

“No, it was luscious orange before,” Gongchan reminisced dreamily. “With little pink candy floss clouds…”

“So you were sighing because you were hungry, and wanted candy floss?” Jinyoung asked hopefully. He started chuckling darkly. “No Gongchan… we’re on a diet.” With that, he leaned against Sandeul’s shoulder and his shoulders started shaking.

Gongchan and CNU leaned forward simultaneously. “Is he crying?” Gongchan asked in wonder.

“Maybe he’s gay,” noted CNU.
