Destiny...

“AMY! Hurry up!” a female voice said. “Hold on Mrs. Mei Wong, I just need to find my car keys.” another female voice said. “Amy Zhou, I have your keys in my hand here.” Mei said as she tapped her foot on the floor. “OK now where is my panda hoody?” Amy said looking around for it “It's here on the couch.” “Thank you! Now we can go.” Amy said as she grabbed her hoody and walked out the door. Amy and Mei have been best friends since they could remember. They are both 20 years old and have been on their own since the age of 18. They moved out of their parents homes to a small apartment together. They work and go to college together, so naturally they are for the most part always together. “Ready to go to the happiest place on earth?” Amy said as she started the car. “Funny, and yes I have been since forever.” Mei replied lightly smacking Amy on the arm. Amy backed out of their parking lot and began to drive to... DISNEYLAND! “Put something on from your iPod, the cable should be around there.” Amy said motioning for Mei to connect her iPod to the car's stereo. “Anything in particular you want me to play?” Mei asked as she browsed her music library after connecting her iPod. “Anything is fine with me, I just want hear something while I drive.” Amy replied as she stopped at a red light. “OK then I will play this.” Mei said as she began playing EXO-M's MAMA. “Aww you don't want to listen to your boyfriend.” Amy roommate, she was a huge EXO-K fan because of Suho, but both of them were big EXO fans. “He is not my boyfriend, I just really admire him, nothing more,” Mei said trying to hide the blush that was now forming on her cheeks, “besides you shouldn't be talking, aren't you like in love with Kris.” “And what if I am? At least I'm not in denial. Besides its not like it matters, him and I are never meant to be.” “But you never know?” “Do you believe that you will end up with Suho?” “No.” “Then why ask me to believe the same thing.” “I guess, but that does not matter, at least we are going to see them soon at SM TOWN LA!” Mei said as she screamed the last part, the driver in the car next to us looked at us funny, he was driving a white van. “This is what I get for buying a convertible, I get looked at funny because of you.” Amy said as she chided her best friend. Mei only laughed and waved at the driver. “I LOVE EXO!” she screamed again as she began to sing the song aloud, she seemed to have put on an EXO play list. “I am really happy we are not on the freeway right now, I think I would die of embarrassment soon.” Amy said.

Amy continued driving ignoring her best friend's little antics. “YAY WERE HERE!” Mei said excitedly as she saw the amusement park. “And I'm the childish one here.” Amy mumbled to herself, as she began looking for parking. She parked and got out the car, as she parked she noticed the white van from earlier was parking next to her car. She quickly grabbed Mei's arm and walked away as quickly as possible. “What was that for?” Mei asked once they arrived to wait for the shuttle. “Did you not notice, that was the van that was driving next to us when you decided to be embarrassing.” Amy said, as shuttle came but it got full quickly, hence they decided to wait for the next shuttle. “Oh, but it was funny, besides you tend to do the same thing when I'm driving.” Mei chided Amy, Amy only laughed and looked away to see if the shuttle was arriving. “OMO! OMO! OMG! Amy look, look, look, behind you!” Mei said as she smacked her friend repeatedly to get her attention. “What Mei, I don't think the shuttle is coming from behind me” Amy said as she turned around only to find the EXO members coming to wait for the shuttle. Amy quickly reached out for Mei, “We're not dreaming right?” they both said in unison, all they really could do was stare straight at them. They both quickly pulled out their cameras and began to take pictures. Halfway through the like 12th random picture of the guys, the shuttle arrived. Mei and Amy quickly got on, to find out that the rest of the members were taking the same shuttle. “OK no fan girling, we need to let them have fun.” Amy said as she watched Kris from afar, he was sitting next to Tao. “Oh don't worry I know” Mei said as she seemed to be staring off at Suho who was with Baekhyun. Both Kris and Suho seemed to have sensed the staring and turned around, Amy and Mei quickly ducked their heads, trying to hide themselves. Once they thought it was safe they lifted their heads, only to find that the guys were still staring. Both girls just turned away from them and decided to distract themselves with the scenery. Once the shuttle stopped, they let the members get off first. “Why can I be sooo outgoing when it is only you and me but the minute I see them, I go back to my old meek self.” Mei said sighing soon afterwords. “I can relate that is exactly how I feel now. But don't you think it was kind of weird that they were staring back.” “Oh common you know maybe we just think they were staring at us, they were probably just staring at someone behind us.” “Gee burst my bubble why don't you.” Amy said as she jumped the last step off the shuttle.

The two girls just got off the shuttle and made line to go into the park once inside both girls began to jump like little kids. “Were here!” they both said amused. They began to take pictures together since they always took pics when they go out. When they were done they noticed that the EXO members were talking amongst themselves, and Kris and Suho seemed to be staring at them. Both girls just smiled, waved and walked away. “OK so coincidence one, we take the same shuttle.” Mei said. “Meaning what exactly?” Amy asked as she put her camera away and took out a map of Disneyland from her purse. “If there are three coincidences today, then Suho and I may be destiny.” Mei said smiling to herself. “Yea I will just leave you on cloud nine for now.” Amy said, it is not that Amy did not believe in destiny, it was just she really did believe she had no chance with Kris because he was a star, while she was just an average girl. Mei was a heavy believer of the paranormal and things of those sort, so she believed in destiny heavily. “So where should we start?” Amy said as she looked at the map in her hands. “HAUNTED MANSION!” Mei said as she began to drag Amy in that direction. Afterwords they decided to go to splash mountain. While in line they notice a huge crowd, they automatically assumed EXO was nearby. Both girls were having trouble not running and going to join the crowd. They remained waiting in line and both began talking. “What would you do if they ended up on the ride with us?” Mei began. “Who?” Amy asked. “EXO silly, well specifically Suho and Kris.” “You know that won't be happening, firstly I hardly have ever seen Kris and Suho together in all the fan cams I have found on YouTube since their debut. And I am pretty sure it would be a huge group meaning they would probably go on a ride with other members, not us.” Amy answered, thinking logically. “OK imagine they did.” “Then I will probably act as if nothing, I am not about to start fan girling over them just because they are near us. I want them to have fun and not be creeped out by fans, like us.” Amy turned to look at Mei who had a completely shocked look on her face. “Mei what now?” Amy said waving her hand in front of Mei's face. “Behind us” Mei whispered, Amy turned to find the two they were just talking about waiting in line right behind them. Amy began to blush and quickly bowed and saying a quick “anyeongsaeyo,” Mei doing the same as Amy. Kris was smirking, Amy assumed it was because he overheard the conversation. He then started whispering something into Suho's ear, which both girls assumed was their previous conversation. Both girls turned around and began to quietly mumble to each other.

The two girls began to laugh at the irony of the situation, girls would kill to be next to these idols and here they were trying to ignore them. Since they were next on the ride they were just thinking of being just the two of them, since they didn't come with anyone else. Once the gate opened, they went to the log Amy sat in the back half of the ride, while Mei took the half in front. What happened next shocked both of them. Kris and Suho both got on the ride with them. Suho sat behind Mei, while Kris sat behind Amy. Both girls instantly froze up, how did they end up on a ride with their idol crushes? “You should relax” Kris whispered in Amy's ear, Suho seemed to be doing the same to Mei. Both girls still could not relax, they just stood frozen in place. Once the ride started, they both slightly relaxed. Whatever distant the girls had tried to place between them and the guys vanished the minute the log plummeted down the water slide. The girls were instantly thrown back into the guys chests, everyone on the log shouted as it plunged. Once the ride reached the end the girls got out of the ride, with help from the guys. They quickly thanked them in Korean, and walked to the photo booth. Once they found the picture of them four both girls quickly bought a copy of the picture. They then walked away trying not to make a big deal over the event that had just occurred. “Coincidence number two, we rode splash mountain together.” Mei said, Amy just chuckled at her best friend's words. “That was kind of weird, they didn't even ask if they could ride with us.” Mei said. “Well maybe that guy you know the one who checks belts and what not told them to get on with us. You know sometimes they do that.” Amy said, she seemed to have to find logic in everything. “Yeah maybe your right.” Mei answered as she began walking to the next ride. While they waited in lines they would come across the other members of EXO. They even got to take pictures with some of them. Mei and Amy got to take pictures with Lay, Luhan, Baekhyun, and Chanyeol at first. The other members were a bit shy about it, but since Mei and Amy were fluent in Korean and Mandarin they were able to ask them and make them a little comfortable about it. “Hmm wonder where they went.” Mei said as they ate. They had been walking all around the park and decided to stop and eat something. “Who?” Amy asked, she wasn't sure if she meant all of EXO or just two specific members. “Our splash mountain buddies, we haven't seen them since.” Mei said as she took a bite of her pizza. “They are probably split up and are walking around with the other members. I am pretty sure it was pure coincidence they were together, at splash mountain,” Amy said as she finished her pizza.

Since it was getting a bit late the girls decided to stop by the shops and by some souvenirs, then they would go home and rest. They had to be well rested for the SM Town LA concert they were attending tomorrow. Once inside the shop they walked in different directions. Amy began to look at the accessories like hats, head bands, and things like that. Mei quickly walked off to look at the novelties like the plushes, cups, etc. Amy was debating on whether to get a hat or a head band, so she decided to look for Mei, since she had an idea of where her friend was she began walking in that direction. She wasn't paying attention to where she was walking because all of her focus was on the two items in her hand, she ended up bumping into someone. She lost her balance, but someone caught her. When she looked up she noticed it was none other than EXO-M's leader, Kris. Amy quickly apologized and went to find her friend Mei, who seemed to be blushing. Amy quickly looked around the store to find out that Kris, Suho, and a couple of the other members were looking at items. “I assumed you also had an encounter with your crush.” Amy said smiling at Mei, she only responded by nodding. “Anyways I need your opinion, this head band, or hat?” Amy said quickly remembering what her original intention on finding the girl was. Mei pointed to the head band, then turned around and showed to mickey mouse plushes to Amy. Amy assumed she wanted her opinion as well, Amy chose the vintage mickey mouse plush. They both then went to pay for the items, since they ended up getting a couple more items while walking around the store. Once they paid and left they noticed that all the members were gathering by the gate. They were leaving soon as well. While the members were waiting, the girls decided to take a couple more pictures of them. “Coincidence number three, our hands touched when we reached for the same mug.” Amy said as she snapped a picture with her camera. “Aww all that happened was that I bumped into my crush, causing him to help me. Man that was embarrassing.” Amy said as she snapped a picture of the whole group. She then turned off her camera and looked at Mei who was doing the same thing. “Let's go, we had our fun with them.” Amy said offering her arm for Mei to link her arm with. “Yes we did, it was a good thing we came today.” Mei said linking her arm and walking with Amy out of the park. Once they arrived their car they began to fix their stuff in the trunk, when they heard a lot of noise. They turned to find out that it was all of the EXO members, walking towards them. The girls looked at each other then they turned to the van parked next to them, and realization hit them. They had been driving next to EXO the whole time. Both girls began to laugh at this, realizing they embarrassed themselves in front of EXO. The guys began to get in the car, both girls just smiled and waved, since they recognized each other from the park. They couldn't help but laugh at everything that happened today.

They turned around to find out that Kris and Suho were whispering to each other at the back of the group waiting for the rest of the members to get in the car. Then both turned to look at the girls, who were smiling and laughing. They grabbed something out of a backpack and walked to the girls. They each handed a small box to the girl they had been coupled with. The girls accepted the gifts, thanked them and turned to each other. “EXO FIGHTING!!!” they shouted as both guys entered the van and closed the door. The girls got into the car, started it and began to drive away. “OMG !!” Mei screamed as she opened her gift. “What, don't tell me it is a love letter.” Amy said as she stopped at a red light, to look at the gift. It was apparently the necklace they had both been looking at but there was a note with it. It read, “We saw each other more than 3 times, but 3 of those left an impression. I hope to be able to see you once again.” Amy couldn't help but be curious about her gift, but since she was driving she asked Mei to open it. “OMO! This is so pretty.” Mei said lifting the object from the box, it was a ring. “And you get a note too, I am going to read it aloud to you.” Mei said as she unfolded the note placing the ring back in the box. “Destiny does exist, today was proof of that.” Mei read aloud. Amy couldn't help but smile. Hopefully they would be able to properly speak to them at the concert, since they had VIP tickets. “Maybe you were right.” Amy said as she drove towards their home, the sun setting behind them.
