He was tired of just admiring her from afar, just watching the others pass by her as she stood there alone, looking like it didn't bother her one bit.
He wanted to be the one to sculpt her rough heart, her crude and awkward soul that had become weary with time – he wanted to be the one to shape it into the beauty that he saw everyday in her. And even though she refused his help, he would have taken the chance all over again without a single moment's hesitation.
Yes, he loved her, despite everything, because he knew – no, he was sure– that they were destined for one another.
