It was like any other day in high school for me, Lee Jinki aka Onew. I wake up to see the man that ruined my whole life wasted on the couch and no food in the refridgerator. I go to school only to have a fist launched at my face and maybe a kick in my stomach or shin. They hit, hit, and hit till they get tired. Blah, blah, blah teachers continue to yell at me because I'm late. I go to lunch only to have it stuffed down my nose and clothes. Seven ing periods of ing hell, and I go back home to get beaten by my drunkass father. Whoopdidoo. Of course that changed when, in the middle of the school year, there's a new student. His name's Kim Jonghyun and he's in the same grade as me, 3rd year of high school. Oh, and I can't forget that he's blind. That would probably be the worst trait about him, considering that this is a school built for stupidass, poor, no life teenagers. Minus myself, or that's what I'd like to think. And this is where my story begins.

"Hey! What the do you think you're doing!" A punch made it's way on the blind student's, Jonghyun's, face. The dark-haired and might I say rather ing ugly piece of turned around and headed towards me. His group of following behind him. 

"What you gonna do about it, burnt ?" I swear, if i had tic tacs in my pocket, I would have gave him the whole thing.

"Well, I could hit you back. And we can fight. But then your stupidass friends will get on my back too. And that'll be 1 againt 9. But you don't need your friends, right? Unless you're a and you can't fight me all alone?" Before he could even register all I've said, I punched him in the gut, grabbed his head with my hands, and kneed him in the face.

"Damn you, you're going to get it now!" He came towards me but I dodged his hit, punched him perfectly in the gut and he ended up coughing out blood. He got up and I leaned back to throw another punch but he ended up grunting and running away. ing . You don't think you'd get hit, and when you do you run like the wind.

"Hey, you okay?" I walked over to Jonghyun, kneeling down to check his face. I tilted his chin up with my fingers but he violently flinched away.

"My name's Lee Jinki, but my dad named me that so I like to be called Onew." I sat down on my behind and sighed. "Are you okay? There are a lot of jerks here. Practically on every corner. But you can't see, right? I'll help you. H- Hey, are you crying? It's okay! I won't hurt you!" I panicked when I saw tears run down behind his tinted glasses.

"N- no. I'm f- fine. Tha- thank you for h- helping me." I saw him reach around with his fingers for his guiding stick. I ended up getting up and fetching it for him. He thanked me again.

"Hey, let me see your shedule. Or well, give me your back pack and I'll look for it." He seemed hesitant at first, but he gave it to me in the end. I saw his schedule right away and noticed that we had the same classes. I looked at the watch on my arm and took in that 2nd hour had already started.

"Getting hit on your first day , I know how you feel. Second hour started already and there's no point in coming late. Want to come to the roof top with me? No one goes up there but me. I'll lead you the way." I placed my hand on his arm, softly pulling him in directions. He didn't object so I guessed he was fine with it.

When we got to the top, I warned him to not move if he didn't feel me close to him. He laughed at that, and his voice surprised me. It was beautiful. It wasn't that deep but not that high either, perfect he'd say. We sat down on the ground near the entrance and I talked the whole time, mostly about how ty this school is and how the people in there are even worse. He laughed a lot, making me want to talk even more just to make him laugh.

"I like your voice." He told me.

"I like your laugh." He smiled at the direction of my voice.

"Can I feel your face?" His hands reached up but I immediately grabbed hold of them.

"What?" I started to feel panicked, why my face? My burnt face?

"It's how I will recognize and remember you, even try to see how you look like. Is- Is that okay with you?" No, he wanted to say. Because... Because he had an ugly, burnt, disgusting face.
