Description
Arranged Marriage; it was a huge horror in the teenage lives of the well-off. It was a curse that they can’t run away from, no matter what generation they are into. It was part of the consequences they had to suffer in exchange of all the luxuries they get. And most of all, it was one of the major reasons on why most of them get unhappy endings. Therefore, Kwon Yuri and Jung Yunho are no exception. Just like how almost everyone ended up in the same fate, they did too. Yet, they decided to take a bit different path from the others. Kwon Yuri wanted to make a beautiful friendship out of their marriage instead of the agony her friends suffered from. The latter agreed and they both ended up creating such a strong bond. Falling in love with each other; there’s nothing wrong with it right?

P R O L O G U E :
“The divorce. Do you agree with them?” Jung Yunho blurted. “Our marriage wasn’t a wreck at all, wasn’t it?” He exclaimed. They were doing their usual 5-minute honest talk routine in the middle of the night.
“Of course it wasn’t. Our relationship..” Kwon Yuri answered, hesitating to say the next words. “It turned into a beautiful, honest and memorable one.” She ended up saying those words anyway.
“Yea, and it’s all thanks to you.” He suddenly leaned his head in her shoulders startling her a bit. “But you made it too beautiful that I don’t know if I want to let it go anymore.” He bitterly added as he wrapped his arms in her slender waste.
“Yah.” Was the only thing she can say.
“They got us chained down in this arranged marriage and now they want us to separate just like that?” He chuckled bitterly while she bit her lip, not wanting to say anything. “What are we? Their toys?” He added.
“I guess they never expected things to turn out this way.” She said in a low voice. “I just… We’ve talked…”
“I know, we’ve already talked about this before. Heck, I even thought that I was prepared for it. But when it happened for real…” He cut her off right before she can finish her sentence. “I didn’t know it would be this hard. Separating like that as if nothing happened.” He ended while she just lightly smiled. Knowing that he valued the bond they’ve created was more than enough for her.
“If you’re going to speak like that, I think I’m going to regret doing those stuffs for us.” She bitterly said. “The reason why I wanted to build a friendship with you was for us to create a beautiful ending.” She continued.
“Likewise.” He replied shortly. “But wasn’t the ending too sudden?” He quickly asked.
“Ne.” She responded. “But we really have to end it. You know that right?” She ended as the clock strike into 11:05pm. Their honest talk was over…
