Into Your World

Description

Much to your dismay, a popular senior at your school has his eye on you and intends to make you his. You've tried to make it as clear as possible that you aren't interested, but he just doesn't seem to get the message. Little does he know, that you already have your sights set on someone else. He was the last person anyone would've expected you to like, but he had this hold on you, and you wanted desperately to be a part of his world.

Foreword

"Why do you like me? I really can't find all that many redeeming qualities about me," he says, almost a whisper.

You shrug and bring your knees up to your chest, wrapping your arms around your legs.

"I like you because you're you. I don't really feel like I need any other reasons," you confess and bury your head into your knees.

Your cheeks were burning up from the embarrassment you felt. It was completely out of your character to be so straightforward about your feelings, but you figured it was now or never.

"I'm sorry, this must be so weird to you, we never talk and here I am confessing to you," you say and slowly get up, dusting off the imaginary dirt off your dress.

You turn to face him to search for any sign of emotion, to give you any indication of what he was feeling. As usual it was blank, and he was staring at the ground.

You let out a sigh of disappointment and began to turn away before he suddenly grabbed your wrist. You froze at his touch and slowly turned to face him.

He avoids all eye contact with you and continues to stare at the ground.

"Don't go.." he says and finally turns to face you.

You heart began to pound in your chest. The look he gives you is pleading and acknowledgement at all the same time. He was letting his walls down for you; the walls that he'd built for such a long time.

"Please don't go..."
