"Ugh. Stupid royal clothes." I mumbled under my breath while the palace ladies assisted me in putting on some silly looking hat that only my father wears. Now I'm gonna have to wear it. They always remind how I need to act proper. I'm feakin 16 years old. I can do whatever I want whenever I want. yes that's right.
"jeoha. Please stay still!" one of the ladies begged. I rolled my eyes and obeyed her.Someone handed me a mirror and I checked out how I looked.

Anyway I went out of that small room and explored the palace alone. At least that's what I want to think. I just don't pay attention to the 6 court ladies behind me. My father passed by and I bowed to him.
"Look at you." he beamed. "You're ready to be the King of Joseon, eh?"
I shrugged. It's not like I have any other choice right?
The King called out a servant with a scroll and he handed it to me. I open it up and written inside was a list of names.

- Lee Chungae
- Kang ____
I folded the scroll and bit my lip. This is the list of girls chosen to be candidates for the postion of Crown Princess, aka my future wife.
