" Oppa, look at that star! It's different from the other ones. " I giggled as I stared at the night sky. Yongguk and I are stargazing in my backyard; we just finished having dinner at a restaurant for a date. " How is that? They all look the same to me. " He scoffed. I rolled my eyes and stood up but before he could ask where was I going, I answered him right away " I’m just going to get coke. Want some? " He blinked a few times and then nodded. I opened the door of his fridge and grabbed two cokes. His parents happens to enter the kitchen; I bowed at them as they replied me with a smile. I made my way back to the backyard and sat back down beside him. " Here. " I said while giving him the can of coke. Yongguk turned to me and happily took it.

" You know, there's millions of stars in the sky but in mine, there's one that shines the brightest of them all. " He suddenly exclaimed. " Yeah, it's that one! " I pointed back the star I mentioned earlier. " You said no before but now you're saying it's the brightest. I don't get you, oppa. " I continued. Yongguk's eyes widen " N-no, that's n-not what I meant... " I patted his back " It's okay oppa, just say that you take back what you said earlier about that star. " I smiled to myself. ' It's always so fun teasing him and annoying him. '  “ I’m not gonna admit that because I told you, there’s another star that shines more than that one. “ He protested. I gave pouted at him “ No there isn’t. It’s obviously that star. “ Yongguk shook his nead. Our little argument started being out of control, just a bit too much.

" Admit it. "
" B-but- "
" Admit it~ "
" T-that's n- "
" Oh come on~ "
" W-wha- "
" Please? "
" L-listen- " 
" Yongguk oppa~ "

I snapped and pressed my lips on to hers. It's the only way to make her stop talking for awhile. I backed off, only to see her shocked and red face. " Y-y-yong... Guk o-oppa... W-wha- " She stuttered. I made a ‘ Shh ‘ motion as I place a finger infront of my lips. “ Can I say want I wanted to talk about? “ I asked as she nodded slowly. I sighed and look up at the sky “ When I said that there’s a brighter star in my sky, did you not heard the word ‘ mine ‘ ? “ I chuckled and ruffled her hair.

 “ Let me restart my phrases all over again, then; There’s a girl that I met back in the days when we we’re both stragers to each other. She was so shy that she hardly had any friends. I felt bad for her so I tried to be friends with her. As the result, we eventually ended up being close friends to best friends… The years we spent together resulted as being girlfriend and boyfriend. We had a happy and loving relationship. Sure, we may fight and argue but we would always solve it right away. I remember when she said ‘ Yes ‘ to my question, my own world lightned up immediately and she will forever shine the brightest among everyone… “

Tears started streaming down my cheeks as he finished his speech. I wanted to say something back to him but I only managed to say his name with a muffled and not clear voice. Yongguk suddenly pulled me in a tight and warm embrace as he whispered in my ear;

“ I love you… my Shining Star. “
