~one day, I was standing at the corridor, and she passed by. When I saw her, I came close to her and wrap my jacket at her back. I know she was surprised and wanted to let go, but I just held her shoulders tighter as I pull her to walk. I guided her to the restroom. Good thing that there’s no one in the rest room and that’s when I let my arms off of her.

 

 

~” yah! What are you doing!?”, she shouted and removed the jacket I wrapped to her.

 

~ but I put it again. She kept on removing it but I kept on putting it to her. Well..uhm... how do I say it? She had that....um.. Red spot on her skirt.( shy)

 

~” yah! What are you doing? And why do you drag me here!”, she shouted again

 

~” just go inside!  Uhm.. I’ll wait here!”, I said to her. She kept on asking me but I don’t know how to say it. I don’t know how to tell her that she has that red spot.. She kept on shouting so I shouted at her.. “ you have red spot on  your skirt”, there I said it, but I didn’t think that she understood it. So she asked again “ what?! Red spot! Wha’ts that!”

 

~” yah! Just go inside! I think it’s...it’s...blo----...”, oh my god I can’t say it straightly.

 

~”what!?????!” she shouted again and again

 

~” MENSTRUATION!”,I said to her and I turned my back. I think she got it so she went inside.

 

~I waited for her outside the restroom, and after 5 minutes, she went out with her face down.

~”my god! It’s my time of the month”, she said as she faced down

 

~I know she’s ashamed because she kept on asking me awhile ago, she didn’t speak again so I talked.

 

~” yah! How could you forget that it’s your time? You should always be ready! What if other people had seen you? I’m sure........”, I wasn’t able to continue ‘cause she cut me off

 

~”I know.. if they had seen me, they would laugh at me, and it would be so..so... embarrassing!”

 

~”oh yeah! Right! It would be embarrassing so you should feel grateful that it was only me in the corridor!”, I said

 

~”yeah! Thanks to you!”, she said... wait.. did she just thank me...?(hehe) well, I shouldn’t let her see that I’m happy with what I heard so I controlled myself not to smile.

 

~”otokke!”, she said again and raised her head

 

~”huh? What?”, I asked

 

~”I haven’t bring a pad!”, she said

 

~”huh?pad?! what for?”, I asked because I don’t really know what’s she’s talking about

 

~”yah! Sanitary pad! The women used when it’s their time”, she explained

 

~”oh! Is that it? Well... how couldn’t you bring one! you should have atleast put one on your bag?

~”And how could you even forget that it’s your schedule?”, I asked

 

~”yah! I didn’t forget about it.. it’s just that... it came early this time, I’m expecting it to be nextweek”,

 

~”okay! Just wait here! I’ll buy one for you!”, I said to her and I left her and I went to the convenience store.

 

~when I entered the store, I didn’t know where to go because I never went to that section, so I asked the cashier. Although it’s a bit embarrassing, I endure it for her.

 

~”uh? Excuse me? Where can I find the pad....uhmm... pad... the one which girls used when you know...uhm”, I can’t really say it but good thing that the cashier gets me so she pointed the direction of the sanitary section.

 

~I went to that section and there are lots of pads there! Oh man! What does she use! How am I supposed to know which is better and what brand is of good quality? I was really at lost and some girls were looking at me and I don’t really know what to pick. Then an ajumma gave me one, she said most of the girls used that brand so that’s what I chose. I hurriedly paid for it and went back to school.

 

~I arrived at the restroom and I saw her standing outside so I handed it to her.

~then after couple of minutes she went out, we headed to our room.

~as we were walking, we were silent and then she smiled at me and said “thank you..”

 

~” oh! It’s nothing!”, I said

 

~”anyway.. why did you just help me? I’m your enemy right? You could’ve just let other people to laugh at me?”, she asked all of a sudden

 

~ “ well, it simply because I still care for you. I don’t want you to be embarrassed..”I answered

 

~then she just smiled. For a long time, she never smiled at me. She was always glaring at me before. So I was happy to see that smile again

 

~”uhm... it’s good that we are the overall champion, right?”, she said. Wow! It’s been days after our festival but we were talking about it only now.

 

~ah.. yeah! It’s good! Because we were good leaders.. that’s why we always won” I said to her.

 

~”yeah..right! ahm..... how’s your wound?”, she asked and it made me remember that day when she went to jerry.

 

~”ah.. It’s fine now.. It all healed,” I said

~”ah.. that’s great.. uhm.. did you get mad?”

 

~” mad? About what?”, I asked

 

~”when I went to jerry?”, she said. And oh yes! I was mad!

 

~”oh... yeah! I’m your classmate but you should’ve come to me!”, I said

 

~” I wanted to come to you because I was worried, but I can’t that’s why I went to him”, she said

 

~” why?”, I asked her

 

~” well, we’re not talking to each other! we’re enemy right?”, she said

 

~”ah.. yeah..”, I said then I heard her laugh.. wah! I haven’t heard her laugh like that for so long

 

~”hmm.. why are you laughing?”, I asked and  and I stopped from walking

 

~”uhm.. nothing”, she said as she kept on laughing and also stopped from walking

 

~” yah! Come on! Why are you laughing?”, I asked again..

~”ah... I just remembered something”, she said

 

~” what?”

~” when we were in 2^nd year”

 

~”huh?”

 

~” when you saw jerry and I playing and you fought to each other, it’s somewhat the same with what happened during the festival” she said while she laughed

 

~”yeah... it’s the same, we fought but you always go to him and ignore me”,

 

~”yah! but I have different reasons”, she said

 

~”hmm.. different reasons?”

 

~”uhm, before,.. I went to him because he had many bruises than you. I thought, he was badly hurt than you, and of course he was my crush back then so I can’t let him suffer, right? But during the festival, I wanted to come to you but I can’t, because we’re not in good terms that time”, she explained

~”oh.. is that it?”

 

~”uhm... before, I was supposed to say sorry to you because I had let you wait, but you just ignored me, that’s why I got mad at you also.”

 

~” yah! you know what, I waited for there for hours but you didn’t come. I was so hurt when I saw you with him”

~”oh! About that! I went in our meeting place early than the time we agreed on because I was so excited to play, but then you didn’t arrive yet so I saw jerry holding a ball and he invited me if I want to play.  Since you’re not yet there, to kill time, I agreed to him. But then, I enjoyed playing it and I forgot about the time”

 

~well, after hearing her explanation, I  don’t know what to say so I just asked her.

 

~” do you want us to be friends again?”, I asked her

 

~” sure”, she said as she smiled and it made me happy

 

~” so friends?”, I said while offering a handshake but she just stared  my hand and pouted

 

~” hey what’s wrong? I thought you want us to be friends again?”,I said

 

~”hmmm... you only want us to be friends? I thought we could go back to being bestfriends”, she said with a disappointed look

 

~”oh... my fault then... okay! Again.... Bestfriends?”, I said while offering again a handshake

 

~”hmm... bestfriends!”,she said and received my handshake.

 

~” well, I hope we could be more than just bestfriends”, I whispered but I never thought that she heard it

~” okay!”, she said

 

~”huh?! “

 

~” you hope we could be more than just bestfriends,right? Then we could”, she said as she smiled

 

~”oh, really?! I asked

 

~”hmm.. in one condition?”, she said and started to walk again

 

~” what is it?” I said as I followed her

 

~” you should court me first!”

 

~” court you?”

 

~” uhm... it doesn’t mean that you’re my bestfriend, then you would be automatically my boyfriend, right?”

 

~” oh! Of course..! I will court you! I will court my bestfriend until she accepts me as her boyfriend!, I said.

 

~then I courted her, and she accepted me as her boyfriend on graduation day! Wow! That was such a wonderful gift, wasn’t it?:)

i really want to write another one-shot story but i can't think of any concept

and last night, this idea popped out in my mind!

 but when i put it into words... it became a mess! a crap!

 so... sorry... if it's not good..:)
