IU entered the house with the smell of cookies aromas taunting her nostrils. As if she ate enough for today, her mom went
ahead to bake cookies. She knew her diet was ruined. 

IU walked over to the kitchen to see her mom in the kitchen and her dad handling the electricity and house bills.
"Hi mommy~" IU skipped to her mom and kissed her cheek, "Hi daddy~" IU skipped to her dad and kissed him on 
the cheek. "Oh, how was school dear?" Her mom asked as she was cleaning the cookie sheet.

"It was good mom! I made a friend today too!" IU smiled as she placed her bagpack on the couch,
Her mom smiled, "Oh really? You should bring her over sometime." 

"Umma~ She is a he." IU said, her mom stopped baking and her dad stopped writing,
IU loooked at the two with a puzzled look, "What?"

"Who is this boy? Is he your age? What grade? Does he have good grades? Is he a delinquent? Does he take drugs? What do his parents work as?--"

"Appa, I'm not dating the boy. He's a friend! He's really cool too! He bought me udon soup and sushi!"

"Oh my, does he have a girlfriend?" Her mom asked,

"Why are you guys questioning about my school life?"

"First of all Ji Eun, you never had a friend that's a boy before, second of all, you don't go to a ...... "academic" kind of school, so we're just concerned about this boy's record and how he got in thi school, third, we're korean!
We question any guy you're friends with!"

IU pouted and grabbed a cookie from the sheet.
"There's nothing to worry about! He's very polite and maybe I'll invite him over,
we'll see." IU smiled and bit the cookie, then running upstairs. "TeeHee~ Now to finish the rest of the korean drama!"

Jonghyun entered the dorm and saw Taemin sitting down and playing his XBOX360,
Call Duty. Jonghyun rolled his eyes at the maknae. Taemin's dog spotted Jonghyun entering the house,
he jumped off the couch and ran over to Jonghyun, begging for it's belly to be rubbed, 

"Oh Hey there Rex, eat a lot?" Jonghyun asked as he petted the dog's head. Taemin's head cocked up once he heard  Jonghyun enter the house. "Hyung! You're home late!" Taemin yelled and ran to Jonghyun. "What are you doing up so late?" Jonghyun asked Taemin, "Well you ever since the whole JB incident, We tried to find you around campus but couldn't find you." "That's because I was too busy getting my lectured by my brother and the principal!" Jonghyun raised his voice and flicked Taemin on the forehead. "I know Hyung..... I screwed up." Taemin frowned, "Don't worry about it anymore, All you have to worry about now is if underground sherlock is still going to be running." Jonghyun said as he placed his coat on the dining chair.

"MWOH!? Our club!? What'd they say?!" Taemin panicked, "Nothing for you to worry about, but I have to be goodie too shoes for the whole year or they'll ruin our club." Jonghyun sighed. "So, basically attend classes and do your assignments? That's easy Hyung! You are very smart after all!" Taemin smiled. "Plus I have to help a new kid around.... God I hate freshmans...."

"Well you would've been a junior if you did anything at all these past two years Hyung."

"You wanna die?"

"Sorry Hyung, I'll be quiet now." Taemin said pretending to zip his mouth.

The next morning, Jonghyun decided to go to school a little early so IU wouldn't have to run after and bother
the crap out of him. IU however, was one of the few students to always go early in the mornings,
Which Jonghyun didn't know. 

"God why is it so cold today...." Jonghyun talked to himself as he was warming his hand with his breath,

"Jonghyun." He heard a voice approach him,

Jonghyun turned, to find Jaejoong. 
"Oh it's you...." Jonghyun grumbled at rolled his eyes.

"Yah, is that how you treat your older brother!?" Jaejoong yelled,

"Yah! I told you! No one can know we're brothers! It'll totally ruin my image."
Jonghyun looked away,

"Okay, but I'm still your teacher." Jaejoong pointed out,

"Shut up..."

"Anyways, I heard that you went to Kirin Academy because of Ji Bum....."
Jaejoong brought up,

"So what?"

"Well... I know you don't have a good history with that kid but.... He is a celebrity Jonghyun,
plus he's your principal's son."

"Am I supposed to acknowledge that?"

"Yes as a matter of fact, Jonghyun. I spoke with the principal and we discussed about your finals results.
They are really good Jonghyun, we also discussed if you work hard this year and get A's in all your classes.
You can take Equivalency exam and the principal agreed that you can just skip sophmore through senior year
and graduate with the rest of your class."

"Wh-what? Really?"

"Yup, if you do what I told you. Which is no ditching, tardies, and harrassing people"
Jaejoong smirked,

"Tsk... Always getting something out of my misery..." Jonghyun punched him in the arm,

"That's what big brother's are for----"

"JONGHYUN~~~~" Jonghyun heard that annoying ring through his ear.
"Crap...." He mumbled. IU skipped skipped between Jonghyun and Jaejoong.
 

"Oh! Anneyeongsayo Mr. Kim!" IU bowed 90 degrees and waved,

"H-Hello IU, you... Are friends with Jonghyun?" Jaejoong asked,

IU smiled at Jonghyun, which Jonghyun shook his head and mouthed no,
"Of course! We're classmates! Jonghyun actually took me to lunch after detention!"

"Oh a date?" Jaejoong asked,

"As if.... I did it to make this girl stop crying." Jonghyun rolled his eyes.

" Because you were being a meanie to me yesterday." IU pouted,

"Because you got us into more trouble!"

"W-well! I had to make an embarrassing excuse why I was crying!"

"Well it didn't matter because you took an hour of me waiting because you actually did need to take a !"

Jaejoong laughed at the two arguing,
"You two seem to be very close..." Jaejoong smirked,

"Of course! Because this girl is like an annoying chatterbox who stalks me!"

"I'm no stalker! It's cause we're friends!" IU  grinned and grabbed his arm, which he shook off.

Jaejoong raised a brow at Jonghyun,
"Well... I think you both will like today, because I'm going to announce something durring class."

"Really? What is it?" IU smiled,

"See durring class." Jaejoong winked and walked off.

Jonghyun turned to IU and realized they were the only two by themselves.
He continued walking forward with IU following behind him.

"Hey Jonghyun shii~"

"Leave me alone Ew."

"Ani~ It's something important, it's what you told me about the korean drama!"
IU smiled as she kept following him.

"What korean drama?"

"My girlfriend is a gumiho!"

"What about it?"

"Well, I remembered what you told me as a matter of fact! About the story."

"..."

"So you told me how I remind you Miho? Well you remind me of Daewoong!"

"...."

"And in the drama you know you say how I'm like her?
I realized that it's a love story between the main character and Miho!"

Jonghyun looked at her preoccupied, not knowing what point she was making.
"Yeah so?"

"So~~~~ You're technically saying you and I are going to end up together!"

Jonghyun looked at her with an alarmed face,
"M-MWOH!?"

"You..... Do you like me?" IU smirked as she was coming closer to Jonghyun,

Jonghyun laughed and flicked her forehead,
"OUCH!"

"As if Ew!!!  I would rather eat dirt!"
He spoke and walked ahead,

"Wait up Jonghyun shii!" IU yelled and caught up with him.
"JonghU couple~"

"Do you wanna lose a leg?" Jonghyun asked in a deep and angry voice.

" N-No..."

"Then shut up."

"O-Okay..."

Today, Jonghyun actually attended his class. Even though him and IU were sitting far away, just knowing she
was breathing same air as him already felt agitating. Jonghyun pretended he was writing notes while
IU was actually trying really hard to get every information down. 

"Alright class, now that we have have ten minutes left, POP Quiz!" Jaejoong spoke suddenly,
Everyone groaned, knowing they were going to fail. However, IU was the one who panicked the most.
"Yah, I'll be fair, this pop quiz you can choose a partner to do it with." Jaejoong offered,

IU immediately scooted her chair all the way to Jonghyun's desk in the middle of class,
Making everyone murmer. "Mr. Kim! I choose Jonghyun as my partner!" IU announced,

Jonghyun face pamed his face and tried to hide his face from the class,
Hyuna laughed and looked at the two, "Why are you announcing it to the whole class?Wae? Is Jonghyun your boyfriend or something?" Hyuna asked, IU smiled, "He's Daewoong ah~ and I'm Miho!" IU grinned and grabbed a piece of paper out for the quiz. Hyuna and the class looked at IU as if she was crazy and laughed,

"IU" Jonghyun said,

"Neh?"

"Shut up."

"Neh...."

Jaejoong chuckled at the two, "My my, you two are so adorable together the more I look at you.
Anyways... Ten minutes starts now, good luck and no notes!"

"Alrighty Jonghyun! Let's do this!" IU smiled and slammed her pencil on the desk.
Jonghyun rested his cheek on his palm and looked out the window,
"You do it, just tell me if you're stuck on one."

"Wh-what? B-but..."

"Hurry up."

"A-araso..." *Crap! I'm so bad at the simplest algebra though!*
IU's eyes shifted to number one, her mind went immediately blank from what Jaejoong already taught her.
She really didn't want to to ask Jonghyun because she didn't want to look clueless, but she had no choice,
It was a pass or fail.

"J-Jonghyun shii...IU whispered and poked him with her pencil,

"What?" Jonghyun turned,

"I-I'm stuck...."

"MWoh? Already? Fine, let me see it."
Jonghyun grabbed the piece of paper and observed it quickly.

"Araso, so they're talking about solving the equation, so by looking at the question--"

IU was mostly staring at Jonghyun than the paper, he looked so smart and intelligent the way he spoke 
like Jaejoong and how he wore his cute black glasses that made her feel like a pretty four eyes.

"So some equations may have more than one root---YAH EW! Are you even listening!?"
Jonghyun asked and flicked her forehead,

"Owwie! Enough with the constant finger flicking!"

"PABO! You're too spaced out to even concentrate on the most simplest problem!"
Jonghyun lectured,

"Alright class, 7 more minutes." Jaejoong spoke,

"OH NO! We'll never finish!"IU panicked,

"Shut up! I'll handle it." Jonghyun said and began writing on the paper.
He solved every problem in less than ten seconds, even enough to solve the extra credit
problems. IU gazed at his incredible talent. Soon, Jaejoong's timer went off and Jaejoong
slammed the desk, "Okay class! Times up! Pass your papers up!"

IU's jaw dropped as she stared at Jonghyun,
"Wow.... You really are Sherlock..."
IU mumbled,

"What?"

"You're so smart and could finish a problem in less than ten minutes!
You're like the real Sherlock himself!"

"It was simple algebra, go back to seventh grade, they teach it there."

"Oh! IU and Jonghyun! Come see me after class!" Jaejoong spoke.
Jonghyun looked at IU and glared, "See! You always keep getting me into trouble!"

"EH!? HOW IS THIS MY FAULT?!"

"Alright Jonghyun, you know your promise." Jaejoong said, " I know, I promised to do my assignments,
I even turned it in!" Jonghyun complained, "Not that! I meant helping the new student around!" Jaejoong slapped his head, Jonghyun turned to IU, "MWOH!? HER!?!?!?!" Jonghyun asked,

"Neh, her." Jaejoong nodded, IU stood there, lost between the conversation,
" Me what? Am I in trouble?" Jaejoong smiled at her then turned to Jonghyun,

"Jonghyun, you are to help IU with everything she needs, you'll show her around, help her catch up on lessons
she missed, and you'll help her tutor her for the upcoming SAT's, If you do or say anything to hurt her, a single complaint from IU how you're not doing any of these tasks, or if she fails one test, I will strip your little SHERLOCK club and you can say goodbye to Underground SHINee."
