IU walked towards front of her house and the typhoon was quickly rising, "J-Jonghyun, shii! Why did you walk me all the way home?!" IU panicked as she saw him drenched. "What does it matter? You're home now, quickly go inside!" Jonghyun lectured and was about to run out, IU quickly snatched his arm, "Wait Jonghyun shii! You can't go out in this rain! You're gonna die out in the cold!" IU frowned.

Jonghyun rolled his eyes and pulled away, "Hey, I'm no sissy, I can handle a little of a bad weather." IU gave him a look
that didn't fall for his excuse, "Jonghyun shii! Please come in! At least till the weather get's better!" IU yelled as the wind of the tphoon became worse.

"Where the heck is she!? I've been calling her number nonstop and she still hasn't answered me!" IU's father frowned as he kept dialing on the house phone, her mother was sitting nervously on the couch, wondering where IU could possibly be. "I'm sure she's okay, she's a grown girl." "Which is why I'm scared! Now that IU is grown up, men tend to be.... more excited!"

The sound of the front door opened and quickly shut. IU's parent's ears perked up and quickly ran to the front door. They peaked and saw IU drenched with Jonghyun with her and his clothes also drenched. Her father's eyes widened and her mom's face grew a wide smile from seeing Jonghyun's handsome face.

"Ji Eun!" Her father yelled and walked to the front door, IU turned around, "A-Appa! You're still awake!?" IU panicked, her father's attention was more onto Jonghyun's. "Is this the friend that you were talking about?" IU's dad reffered to Jonghyun, 

"Anneyeongsayo, I'm Kim jonghyun." Jonghyun bowed which made IU's mother smile more.
Her mother quickly entered in the picture, "You two are both drenched! You need to change into something!"
Her mother panicked,

"Uh.... I'm sorry to intrude you guys, but I plan to walk home after the weather cools down." Jonghyun informed politely,

"Nonsense boy! The weather is going to be like this the whole night! You need to quickly take a shower and change into something!" Her mom opposed and took off both their wet bagpacks. "U-Umma....." IU stuttered,

"You are staying here for the night and that's final, your parent's probably wouldn't want a handsome boy like
you to be walking home in the cold weather! You may sleep in the guest's bedroom, It's next to the living room!" 

IU's father gave her a bewildered expression and looked right at Jonghyun whick made the atmosphere thick and tense. "Well then! Why is everyone quiet? Jonghyun take a shower in the guest bathroom, I'll have my husband lay clothes for you and IU you too!" Her mother lectured as she was preparing a meal for them.

IU came out of her bedroom ad wore her regualr pj's which was regular T shirt and basketball shorts.
She walked downstairs and saw Jonghyun come out of the bathroom at the same time, wearing her father's
sweats.

"Jonghyun shii, do my father's clothes fit on you comfortably?" IU asked as she approached him.
Jonghyun turned to IU, "They fit okay.....  I don't think your dad likes me that much..."

"Well he doesn't like boys who color their hair and walk me home in the middle of the night." IU pointed out.
Jonghyun looked at his hair and looked back at IU, "Oh....."

"Haha, don't worry about it! Anyway! Come to the kitchen! My mom prepared a meal for us!" IU said happily as
she grabbed his hand walked with him to the kitchen. Once the two arrived the kitchen, her mother smiled and placed the dub boki and  kimchii onto the table.

"Ji Eun and Jonghyun, I made dub boki and kimchii for a midnight meal." Her mother said.
"Ah, Kamsahmidah Umma!" IU smiled and sat down with Jonghyun, "Y-You didn't have to...."
Jonghyun said. "Nonsense, you walked my daughter home in the middle of a hectic typhoon!
let me at least show my grattitude." Her mom smiled which made Jonghyun suddenly freeze.

He caught a glimpse of his own mother but shook it off knowing it was just IU's mom. "Kamsahmidah Miss. Lee." Jonghyun bowed, "Aw! You're so adorable child! Eat up!" Her mom grinned and walked out of the kitchen,

"Let's eat!" IU announced and ate the first dub bokki. Jonghyun stared at the plate of warm duboki, kimchii, and
ice green tea. "What's wrong Jonghyun? You don't like Dub bok ki?" IU asked as she was chewing the rice cake.
Jonghyun shook his head, "No.... your parent's are just..... Very kind." 

"Well duh! All parents act like this! Now eat up before I eat everything." IU laughed and slurpped on the dub bok ki loudly. Jonghyun looked at IU and secretly smiled as she ate. *No wonder IU is so nice, Her family is so caring and gentle to her* Jonghyun thought as he was watching her eat. IU was gobbling everything one by one, 

"Hey, leave me some." Jonghyun scolded and chewed the dub bok ki., IU stared at him as he ate.
"What are you looking at?" Jonghyun asked, "Is it good?" IU asked. Jonghyun didn't want to say it was the best
dub bok ki he ever tasted and just continued eating,

"Your mom is different from you, she's less annoying and makes a better wife."
Jonghyun teased,

" What's that supposed to mean!? I would too make a good wife!" 

"You'd probably stalk him 24/7."

"I would not! I would wake him up everyday and lay a super yummy breafast, iron his coat for work, take care of the kids, and make an absolutely amazing dinn--- Jonghyun! Are you even listening?!" IU asked

Jonghyun was more focused with eating than paying attention to whatever IU said. It was as if every word she said went out of the other of his ear. "Jonghyun!" IU yelled and tapped the plate with her fork,

"God! You talk more than you eat! "

"Stop being so mean to me! I let you eat my food, spend the night, and you tease me nonstop!"

Jonghyun looked at her and gave her a look she never saw before. Instead of an irritated look, he gave her a 
devilish smirk. IU stopped chewing and adjusted her glasses, looking away. "Why are you looking at me like 
that?" IU asked,

"Now that I think about it, you let me eat you food , you follow me nonstop, you always watch over me, and you bare with my attitude."
"Do you..... Like me?" Jonghyun asked,

"Huh?" IU asked,

" Don't play dumb Ew. You and I are two different genders, I'm a boy and you're a girl."
Jonghyun stood up from his seat, slowly walking to IU's side and stood behind her. 

"J-Jonghyun shii.... Stop playing around....." IU mumbled.

"You know we're both here alone in this room." Jonghyun pointed out,
"Who knows what I'll pull."

Jonghyun slowly pulled off IU's hair tie, making her entire hair fall into place.
IU's heart began to beat even more once he was slowly sliding his hand through her arms.

"J-Jonghyun---"

"Hmph..... No fun...." Jonghyun pouted and pulled away,

"Wh-what?"

"Your parents are outdside of the dining table spying on us." Jonghyun said and looked behind the large plant in the dining room. Her parents were secretly hiding and listening through their whole conversation,

"Awww, Jonghyun... You should've continued and pretended we weren't here!" IU's mom complained,

"What are you talking about dear!? Jonghyun was trying to seduce our innocent Ji Eun!" Ji Eun's father yelled as he grabbed Jonghyun by the collar. IU's mom rolled her eyes, " Calm down Honey, remember our first time in my house when my parents were asleep? Let them have their fun." Her mom winked at the two.

"Umma!!!!! Appa!!!!! You're embarrassing mee!!!!" IU cried as she hid her face.

(The Next day)

"Alright you two, I washed and dried both your uniforms! And I packed both lunches! IU, be sure to share with Jonghyun, Araso?" IU's mother smiled. IU nodded, "Neh! Me and Jonghyun are best friends!" IU smiled and grabbed him by the arm. Jonghyun didn't want to look rude in front of her parents so he just rolled his eyes.

IU's mom smiled, "OMO! Can I please take a picture of you two!? This is too cute! Honey! Get me the camera!"
IU's mom yelled. "Mom! J-Jonghyun and I have to go to school!" IU blushed,

"You both have time! Plus Jonghyun doesn't mind, right?" IU's mom asked as she looked at Jonghyun.
"It's fine, I'm okay with it." Jonghyun spoke formally. IU's mom quickly grabbed the camera from his hand.

"Alright you two! Squish in now!" Her mom smiled. IU scooted closer to Jonghyun and awkwardly looked at him.
"Both of you! Put your arms around each other! Stop making it look so awkward!"  IU's dad yelled.
IU frowned and quickly placed her hand behind his back, "Sorry...." Jonghyun did the same, 
"You owe me...." Jonghyun whispered, turned, and smiled for the camera.

"Hyung has been busy these days..." Taemin pouted walking with the rest of the SHINee members. Key rubbed his temples, "Forget about Jonghyun, worry about the club! If Jonghyun doesn't listen to his brother, it's going to close down!" Minho sighed and looked away, trying to ignore the problem. Once they reached the school's gate, they saw Jonghyun and IU walking together.

"OH! HYUNG!" Taemin laughed aloud and skipped towards the two. "Oh, SHINee." IU smiled,
"Hyung! Where were you!? We called you more than twenty times! We thought you were gone or dissapeared!"
Jonghyun his teeth and flung his bag behind him, " I had things to do..." He said as he glanced at IU a few times,

"Did you bang her?" Key crawled up,

"A-AS IF!" Jonghyun yelled blinking countlessly and putting his bag down.
IU's eyes wandered to Jonghyun while Jonghyun was kind of shaking.

" I'm gonna be late." 

Jonghyun quickly ran away and walked into the school, "Wait up best friend!" 

When SHINee and IU approached behind Jonghyun, he stopped in front of them, causing the rest to have a chain of reaction, making them lined up, "What's up?" IU asked and looked over Jonghyun's shoulder.

There she understood why he froze, flyers were everywhere, and pictures of Jonghyun and IU sneaking out of the school last night, imprinted,

"Kim Jonghyun and mysterious girl caught after school sneaking out, after school budget money found stolen!"
