Your POV

I was in the kitchen , cooking .

"Aishh .. I forgot to buy onions" I slapped my forehead again .

I turned off the stove carefully and sat next to Myungsoo .

"Myungsoo , let's go to the market but this time i'm coming with you" I pointed at myself .

Myungsoo just kept silent .

"Do you hear me ?" I waved my hand infront of him .

But he kept silent .

"Oh ! Now I know why" I snapped my fingers .

I leaned in and gave him his good morning kiss .

"Great ! Let's go !" Myungsoo held my hand .

"Wait !" I took my purse and took off my apron .

After making sure everything was fine , we headed to the car and Myungsoo drove off . 

Soon , we arrived at the market . 

'' Okay .. What do we need to buy ? '' Myungsoo asked me . 

'' Onions . '' I replied and tried to search for the onions . 

But there was none so we had to search around the market . 

When we were climbing up the stairs , a girl bumped into me . 

'' Ouch ! '' She squealed . 

The girl patted her skirt and stood up . 

I was surprised - it was the same girl , Ae-young . 

'' Oh , you . '' She waved unfriendly . 

'' Hi . How are you ? '' I asked her , trying to be friendly . 

She rolled her eyes and held her chest in pain . 

'' I'm fine . Ah ! '' She screamed , dropping to the floor , her knees weak . 

I furrowed my eyebrows , eyeing Myungsoo . 

'' Can you bring me to the hospital ? '' She coughed . 

I nodded and slowly brought her inside the car . 

Myungsoo followed behind . 

Sitting next to her at the back seat , I heard her difficultly breathing . 

'' Are you okay ? '' I asked her . 

'' I'm .. Fine . Just a little fever . '' Ae-young replied , weakly .

We arrived at the hospital . 

After checking in , the doctor placed Ae-young in a private room to check her health . 

A few minutes later , the doctor burst out . 

'' Excuse me ? Are you both the guardian of Ae-young ? '' The doctor asked us . 

'' No , we're just her friends . Doctor , what's wrong with her ? '' I asked him . 

'' Well , according to the x-ray , we just discovered that she has pneumonia . '' 

'' What's pneumonia ? '' Myungsoo asked the doctor . 

'' According to our research , pneumonia is a type of lung disease that cause coughs , chest pain, fever, and difficulty breathing. '' 

Myungsoo nodded . 

'' So is she safe ? '' I asked worryingly . 

'' She's still having difficulty to wake up , but we'll make sure she'll be stabil . '' The doctor replied . 

Me and Myungsoo nodded . 

'' Can we have your numbers in case she has any serious cases ? '' The doctor asked me .

'' Sure . It's 9473-6438-9202 . '' I said . 

The doctor nodded , '' Thank you then . You can visit her now . '' The doctor smiled . 

Me and Myungsoo entered the private room . 

Ae-young was still asleep , on the bed , quietly snoring . 

'' Minyounggie .. Can you get some food at the cafeteria ?" Myungsoo asked .

"Sure , i'll get your favourite" I pecked his lips before going to the cafeteria . 

I quickly dashed to the cafeteria . 

Myungsoo's POV 

The room was silent . 

'' Ae-young .. '' I called out , sitting on the chair beside the bed . 

'' I'm sorry I left you . But I've moved on now , I can't change time . '' I slowly said . 

I saw her lips move . 

Touching her soft hand , I smiled . 

'' Myungsoo .. '' Minyoung jumped in . 

'' Oh , hey . '' I waved . 

'' I guess you were having a talk-to-talk with her ? '' Minyoung asked me . 

I nodded . 

'' I need to go to the bathroom for awhile . '' I broke the silence . 

Minyoung nodded while I went to the bathroom to wash my face . 

Your POV 

'' Ae-young ? '' I mumbled , placing the tray on a table . 

I was surprised when Ae-young opened her eyes . 

She looked at me , smiling . 

'' Minyoung .. Promise me something . '' She said , out of the blues . 

'' What ? '' I leaned in closer , ready to hear . 

'' Take care of Myungsoo if I die and .. '' Her words were stuck . 

Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep ..

The machine had a long line . 

Ae-young closed her eyes , her hands weak . 

'' Doctor ! Doctor ! '' I called out , shocked . 

A nurse came , rushing in with the doctor . 

'' Excuse me .. Can you please stay outside for awhile ? '' A nurse politely asked me . 

I nodded and ran outside . 

Patiently waiting for Ae-young . 

A few minutes later , Myungsoo walked to me . 

'' Hey .. How's Ae-young ? '' He asked . 

'' I don't know . It's up to the doctor . '' I shrugged . 

Myungsoo nodded . 

Just then , the doctor came out . 

His face looked unsatisfied . 

'' How is she , doctor ? '' I walked to the doctor . 

'' Her disease was very dangerous and it has hurt her lungs , which is a very unusual happening here . '' The doctor said . 

I nodded . '' But sadly , the disease was very serious and we tried to save her but .. '' The doctor paused . 

'' She had already passed away . ''
