Three years ago
ReminiscenceI planned to go to Jeonju for two days before leaving for that interview in Japan, my friends insitsted I made the best out of these few days of no work, I agreed, I had wanted to go on a solo trip for the longest of time.
I had also recently found a new love for walking? I don't know how to describe it, but I loved to go on feet for as long as possible,
And that's what I did, that day, I walked for ten kilometres, had no idea how to get there or which bus or train to get into, somehow managed to get into one,
I don't remember how, or when? But I dozed off five minutes after getting in the train, When I woke up, I didn't want to panic but the realisation that I had travelled fifty more miles than intended in a whole different place almost drove me crazy,
Now I didn't want to go back, and travel more than three hours again, so I opened the maps and searched for nearby places that I could possibly go to.
It showed that there was a village very close, since I was going to a village originally, I decided to go there, twenty minutes into walking I realised, it was a mistake, the map had stopped working, there were no signals, I hadn't thought that this place isn't Jeonju and there wasn't much going on here.
I stopped in the middle of the road, and waited for someone to come so I could ask them, if there was anywhere to go here,
The first time I didn't plan properly, this happened.
Hence, Why I refuse to leave for anywhere without extra advanced planning,
A man passed me by, but I didn't stop him, he looked intimidating, then another man passed, then a woman and a then a few kids,
at this point, I stood there hoping someone would just take a guess and ask me why I was here,
And then, she was there, smiling as always, she immediately noticed me, looking lost, and approached me as if she knew me for years,
"Are you lost?" She asked and I nodded,
"Do I look lost?" I asked forcing a smile,
"A little, also we rarely see new faces here, did you sleep on the train?" She asked teasingly her eyes glistened,
I hummed embarrassed, she smiled then pretended to think for a moment,
"Do you think I can stay here for two day
