Yoseob was walking alone on the empty street. Just 2 more blocks and he would reach her house. But somehow he didn’t feel like coming home now. It was just too tight for him to face up to the family atmosphere where he could not figure out if she was or ever wanted to be a member or not. A perfect father who run a million dollar company and never got home before 12 and always left home before 7 in the next morning and often stayed overnight outside. A perfect mother who still looked so young and beautiful and kept hanging out with some typical friends who are absolutely young men. And a perfect brother always went out for parties and friends especially girl-friends. Sometimes, he wondered how they could make up a family like that, and after all he still loved them like that. Like father would never think of divorces and tried his best enjoying whenever he stayed though he knew what was going on, like mother would always be ready and prepared the perfect things and never went out whenever father was going to come home, and for some reason she became really beautiful and energetic. And like brother who always told his hyung to stay at home (for the sake of watching the house – but Yoseob were absolutely understood what he meant). Their life like that was called lie, but after all, to Yoseob, it was kinda enjoying and appreciating every minute whether it was truthful or not.

But not now. Right now he just wanted to walk somewhere else for a while. Where he did not have to face up with the fact that their life was a big lie and he hated how much she loved them. Perhaps he could throw the hatress away and went home with the feelings as usual.

*Yoseob’s flash back*

“You’re gonna marry Yong Junhyung” Dad told while sharing the rare breakfast with family, obviously for some certain reason.

Yoseob nearly dropped her folk. Slowly, he looked at the old but good-looking man with the fierce look so called his father. “Why?” – He asked, not recognizing his voice shaking a little. His mother almost sobbed and his brother kept hanging his head down low, obviously shocked.

“He is good and kind and he could assure that he could bring you a good future” Dad answered in a calm voice while looking on the food.

“Because he is a Yong one, isn’t he?” Now Yoseob was really shaking, his eyes were almost wet. Miraculously, he still hold all her tear not running down.  

“Why?” Now, the voice of Dongho – his brother raised out, making their Dad gain attention back from something on the dish. Yoseob was still so shocked that he could even not turn to Dongho to see him now standing up, facing up to his dad and looking angry, hurt, or else…Dongho had the same fierce look as his father did “We had a million dollar company which can feed us full all this long life. No, you had a million dollar company and a broken, faithless family. Now you want a billion dollar company and another broken, faithless family??? And the most important thing, you want your beloved son to share his life with the dumpass who used to break his heart into pieces and made him…”

Dongho could not finish the sentence as a loud sound from the fallen dish of Mother. Mom was really crying so hard. Yoseob and Dongho did not really know where she took side but from her attitude they were completely sure was that she had already known about Dad’s decision for a long time.
