Okay, so this fic would be random af. I'll throw in every cliche plot I could think of in here. Not sorry. :D And Benny is just the name I thought since I play Genshin Impact and I love Bennett. But he's a very unlucky guy canonically.  (Am I too in real life? lol) Think of Benny as not Bennett but think of him as an abyss herald from floor 11!  PS. Tiffany looked at the clock, it is Friday almost 7 PM.  She sipped her tea and closed her eyes calmly.

‘She’s late.’

It took a couple of minutes before she gave up on a thought that Taeyeon would come.

“I guess she isn’t the right person to ask, after all, she’s the other girl.” She stood up and cleaned up her tea set before her eyes laid on her guitar.

‘Maybe it’s too late to dream out loud.’

She sat on the sofa and picked up her phone. She opened a message from her dad.

-Have you thought about it?

She sighed as she looked at the contract at the coffee table. A work overseas. The business has never been her forte. But it seems like the right path for her, after all, her last chance in trying out her passion for music failed again.

‘Maybe I wasn’t meant for this world…’

She gave it some thought before typing a reply to her dad.

-I will do it.

Before she was able to send it, she heard a knock on her door. Her eyes suddenly lit up as she immediately stood from her seat.

“She came, huh?” she chuckled.

It amused her how can this girl she once heard singing in a club gave her so many musical ideas and inspiration to go on. After all the tryouts, the countless auditions and rejections… Maybe she just needs someone to help her. Someone like Taeyeon… An effortless talent but there is one complicator, her complicated lifestyle.

‘Perhaps, it’s something I can work on.’

When she opened the door, excitement washed over her.

“You’re late…” she said before looking at the person outside her door. She frowned when she recognized who this person was.

“Oh, it’s you.”

Benny…the platypus or so she called.

“Hi, babe.”

She slammed the door back again and the person outside frantically knocked.

“Please let me explain, I swear, she flirted with me first!”

It was her ex, Benny. She did not know how or why she dated this Benny boy for two years. Maybe she was bored or enchanted by witchcraft, who knows? But none of it matters now, Benny is just a loser, and she knows it.

She rolled her eyes at the other side of the door.

“Do I know you?” she said nonchalantly.

“Let me in.”

“Why would I?”

“I don’t know what she told you when you confronted her, but it’s all lies!”

“There was never a confrontation.” Tiffany hums in the air.
