The wind whipped my face as I raced down the darkening streets. It was already dusk and I still hadn’t arrived. I almost tripped trying to weave through the constant stream of people. Damn I thought as my arm grazed something sharp. I could feel the pain starting to settle in but I didn’t have time. I felt my phone ring and I knew exactly who it was. I would pay later for not answering but for now I had to get there. When I arrived, it was already too late.
