Hyewon and Soojin finally arrived, with Hyewon immediately asking where the other two was. After telling the youngest where the two where, they also decided to grab their own lunches first.

"Anyway, Ms. Yoon have mentioned about the upcoming talent show" Soeun said "She's asking for our plans" Their school conducts an annual talent show. Students are free to showcase their talent from singing, dancing, painting, acting, ventriloquism and even fire eating is accepted. And it was already a tradition for last year's champion to give a special performance on the day of the event-- which was them. The seven of them, they gave themselves the name Weeekly. Extra E added on purpose. They became the champion last year after performing a song written and composed by Jiyoon herself.

However, given the accident few months ago and the whole break up of the group, performing on the event as a group seemed impossible now.

"Well, no plans obviously" Jiyoon said

"She said it doesn't have to be a group performance. You can still perform alone, as long someone represents the group"

"Me?" Jiyoon asked, she was confused because Soeun seemed to be telling her to perform alone

"Yeah, why not"

"I won't do it alone, why are you even asking me to do it alone? How about you?"

"But we won with your song"

"So? It was your dance" Jiyoon answered, she may have written the song but Soeun and the others help in the choreography as well. Even with the costumes and finalizing everything it was a team work. " Everyone of us has a part in there. We won as group"

"Do you think we can perform again as a group?"

"Whatever, but if I'm gonna step on that stage again I'd rather be with everyone. It's not just my win. It's our win" Jiyoon insisted

 

The argument was cut when Jimin and Jaehee came back. They noticed the heavy atmosphere but refused to say anything and just started eating their lunches. Soon enough, everyone was back in the table and started eating

Soojin noticed the opened pie in the edge of Soeun's tray, she knew that the girl unfortunately got apple pie. She break open her own dessert in half to check the filling, it was blueberries. She smiled and offered the pie to the girl sitting beside her "Here, it's blueberry" 

Soeun got surprised, not like it was the first time one of them traded pies on mystery pie day, but it has been a while. "You don't have to"

"It's okay, I'm in the mood for apple pie" the oldest said and take her apple pie from her tray and exchanged the blueberry pie. 

Jiyoon finished eating and the other are still finishing their lunches. "So, why did you two gathered us?" Jiyoon asked Hyewon and Jaehee.

"Yeah, what's all this about?" Jimin added

Hyewon swallowed her food and turned to the older girls "There's a new transfer student in our class" she began, Hyewon noticed how all of them showed a confused face

"Is that something worth telling us?" Soojin asked, really confused

"You made it sound so important to gather us all here" Soeun said

"No no no. I'm not done yet" Hyewon pouted "That new girl. She looks like Jihyo unnie!"

"What?"

"I mean, some people can look like other people right?" Jimin said

"But she looks so much like Jihyo. We really thought it was her! Not just similar face features, it was exactly the same" Jahee added

 

The unnies where confused and find it hard to believe someone could look like their friend so much

"really! I actually think she might be the one I saw yesterday by the gym"

"She look like her that much?"

"Yeah! Really really look like Jihyo"

"Maybe she resembled Jihyo a bit. How can someone look so much like--Ahhhhh!" Jimin stopped mid-sentence upon the appearance of Jihyo "She's still haunting us"

Jiyoon, Soeun and Soojin all looked up to where Jimin was looking and also shared the same shocked expression upon seeing the girl

 

"Hi Jaehee, hi Hyewon" The girl who just arrived greeted her classmates

"Oh, Jihan. Hi" Jaehee greeted back although she was also surprised about what the girl was doing there

"Unnie, this is our new classmate. Hyo Jihan" Hyewon said, rolling her eyes at the sight of her surpised unnies "Told you so"

"Hello, I'm Hyo Jihan. I'm new in this school" she greeted her seniors upon noticing them

"You're alive?"

"You're real?"

The older girls confusedly asked to which Jihan giggled "Yes. You looked so surprised. Perhaps it was because I look like Jihyo? A lot of students are saying that to me"

"You sure you're not Jihyo?"

"I'm very sure"

"Oh, come join us" Soojin said upon seeing the girl still have her tray of food on her hand. Jihan thanked her and sit on their table "Thank you for letting me sit here. pardon the intrusion, I just still don't know a lot and Jaehee was the first I recognized in the crowd" Jihan said

"It's okay. You can eat here" Jiyoon said, as she stares at the girl, she really looks like Jihyo, aside from their voice it really  seemed that Jihyo was back with them. But she knew that this girl was not their friend

 

"Let me formally introduce myself. My name is Hyo Jihan, I'm in the same class as Jaehee-shi and Hyewon-shi"

"I'm Lee Soojin, third year class 1" Soojin introduced herself to the girl.

"My name is Jiyoon, third year class 3"

"Soeun. Class 3 as well"

"Kim Jimin. third year class 3" Jimin introduced and stared at the girl, "So, Jihan. Why did you transfer here all of a sudden? In the middle of the schoolyear?"

"We just moved here from Anyang. I was actually previously homeschooled"

"Home schooled?"

"Yup, this the first time in a long time I get to eat cafeteria food"

 

Jihan started eating and they all watched her. Soeun was surprise seeing her eat her veggies happily. She's definitely not Jihyo. Jihyo would not eat her veggies with that smile. Jihyo hated vegetables. But this girl seemed to like it so much.

"You like vegetables?"

"Yeah! Back from where I came from, we grew our veggies in the garden so we always have fresh produce. It really is yummy. I also planted some in our new house here"

"Oh" The others hummed 

"Why were you home-schooled?"

"Oh, my family moved a lot, it has something to do with my father's work. But we will stay a lot longer in Seoul than the other places we've been so my mom enrolled me to a normal school again. I also want to have friends in school other than my new neighbors. 

"Oh" they hummed again to her answer

 

"Oh yeah, Jaehee, I recognized you. Aren't you the crying girl in the restoom yesterday?" Jihan said said after finishing her meal

"I was not crying!" Jaehee reacted gaining the confused stares from the older girls "I just washed my face"

"But why did you run away?"

"I'm sorry I thought you are the ghost of Jihyo"

"Oh.. right. I'm sorry about that"

"Not your fault. It's not like you know you look like her" Jaehee said to the new girl

"Wait, so you are here yesterday?" Hyewon asked, after realizing Jihan's words.

"Yup, it was supposed to be my first day. But we have some appointment in the morning so I only got here halfday to finalize my enrollment. And i toured a little bit"

"Were you here last week as well? Because I know I saw someone who looks like JIhyo" Jiyoon asked

"Yup, I was with my mom to enroll. There was really a lot other process if you are previously homeschooled than if you are just transferring from another school. "

"So I was right, you just saw someone who looked like Jihyo, not Jihyo" Jimin said to Jiyoon

"Well how will I know, they look so much alike and you agreed with that. And my point about your favoritism still stands!" Jiyoon argued

"Well, that answers it. We're not being haunted by Jihyo. Jihyo is an angel she would not do that" Soojin concluded

"Who even said we were haunted?" Soeun asked

"Jimin" Soojin and Jiyoon said at the same time

"Excuse me? I did not even saw her. Jaehee said that first" JImin defended herself

"Well I'm sorry? It's not that I know someone was transferring let alone the fact that she looked like Jihyo!" Jaehee said almost crying, she felt guilty about thinking they were being haunted by their friend

"Stop making Jaehee cry!" Soeun told

"I did not do anything!" Jimin retorted

"But Jihyo was in my dream!" Hyewon butted in

"Well that's because you are thinking about her a lot"  

"So you're not thinking about Jihyo? have you forgotten about her?" Soeun gasps and stared at Jimin like she offended her entire clan

"Where in my statement did I mention about forgetting Jihyo? I said, Hyewon was thinking about her a lot recently"

"And you are the one who acted like a detective or psychic or whatever you are on Jihyo haunting" Jiyoon said accusingly

"Well I'm sorry I was curious?"

"Stop fighting! You're traumatizing the new kid!" Soojin said and they all looked at Jihan who are staring at them with wide eyes , looking scared about how they acted

"Sorry"

"Aren't you all friends?" Jihan asked seemingly scared to actually ask the question

"We're not" they all answered at the same time that surprised and maybe made Jihan more scared about how they denied it aggresively

 

"Well, I need to go to the clinic for my student assistant duties" Soojin said after a long silence 

"We're not asking"

"I was talking to Jihan" Soojin said and rolled her eyes at Jiyoon before facing Jihan, now with a smile on her face "Nice to meet you. But bye for now" she said and take her leave

"Well, my boyfriend is looking for me already" Jimin said, taking her leave as well

"You'll break up soon"

"Stop being envious" Jimin smirked at Soeun "stay single" to which the girl scoffed

"I need to go as well" Soeun said "gonna have some fun with my FRIENDS" she added, purposely stressing the word friends 

"I'll go now and enjoy the peacefulness of being alone rather than a forced friendship" Jiyoon said

"Well I need to go too" Hyewon said

"Hyewon?!" Jaehee yelped, everyone was leaving

"Sorry, I need to do something" the youngest said and basically run

 

Jaehee was left with Jihan when all of the other girls go. She just sighed and showed and awkward smile to Jihan.

“It’s okay if you need to go somewhere too. I’ll be okay” Jihan told Jaehee

“It’s fine. I can accompany you. I don’t have anywhere else to go anyway”

 

The two went out of the cafeteria after throwing their trash and putting away the tray in the designated place.

“You  wanna tour the school?” Jaehee asked

“Let’s just sit there” Jihan said pointing to the concrete benches that surrounds the big tree. Jaehee can’t help but remember the past. That was their waiting area as well. Either waiting for the next class or waiting for the other girls so they could all go home together. It wasn’t hot there given the big tree and other plants around the area.

“Okay” Jaehee agreed and headed to the bench

 

“I actually toured the school already yesterday” Jihan started the conversation after settling in the bench

“Oh right. You’re here yesterday”

“Are you sure you’re okay? I mean, yesterday. I was sure you're crying” Jihan asked, and Jaehee noticed that there was a hint of concern on her face

“Of course. Just forget that you saw me in that state”

"I see, I understand" Jihan looked around, a lot of students are out since it was still lunch time “Are you all really not friends? Usually people who eat lunches on the same table are friends right? And you all seem close and know each other well”

“Oh. Well just like what you heard. they’re not my friends.. well not anymore" Jaehee said and looked up at the clear sky  "We used to be friends but that was a long time ago”

“Oh.. is it okay to ask why? What happened? But it’s okay if you’re not comfortable talking about it”

“Thanks. It just happened. Afyer Jihyo’s death. Not that I’m blaming Jihyo.. I’ll never do that. But we’ve became so hard headed to each other. Not listening . Blaming each other..." Jaehee smiled as she saw a cloud shaped like a rabbit head, like Jihyo

 

8 months ago, when the accident happened during their school trip. It was supposed to be a memorable trip. Their first school trip all together. But it didn't end well. The aftermath of the accident was them being a mess.

Every one was crying then all of a sudden they were all fighting. Arguing. Blaming each other. They didn't  noticed that they already said mean things towards each other.

But Jaehee blamed herself the most. Going to that place was her idea. They weren't supposed to be there. If not for her stupid idea, they wouldn't be there. They wouldnn't be in the accident. And Jihyo would still be alive.

All if not for her stupid idea.
