Chanyeol met Irene at a party his friend Sehun had dragged him out to.

He thought that she was pretty and she was very smart and kind, they had gone on about 4 dates before he finally asked her to be his girlfriend and he couldn't deny that he was happy at her side however there were times that he looked into her eyes and he wished that it was Yura there instead.

It was cruel to have those thoughts especially when Irene was perfect in every way. 

She was thoughtful, she laughed and smiled at him and when times were rough at work she always went out of her way to make him feel better.

But he knew now that just because it's perfect doesn't mean that it's working, even though he had moved on, even when he knew that Yura more than likely found someone new he found himself still longing for what could've been.

Tonight after having a beautiful candlelit dinner and now watching a movie as Irene lay her head on his shoulder he couldn't help himself imagine it was Yura there.

He was so deep in his imagined scenario that when Irene lifted her head and asked something he shook his head and tried smiling at her 

“I'm sorry what did you say love?” he asked her
