Jessica was semi-enjoying her lunch in the company cafeteria, alone. Sometimes she ate with Seohyun but today she brushed off her secretary because she wanted to be alone today. After pouring her heart out to Taeyeon, she had a need to fly off to a remote area of the world but at the same time, felt relieved to get these feelings off her chest. At this point, Jessica felt she had nothing to lose because she had already lost Taeyeon once before.

However, she couldn’t keep her mind off Taeyeon now. She really needed to get her mind of Taeyeon because Jessica was starting to hallucinate seeing Taeyeon in her building. Hold on…Jessica quickly turned around to see that it was Taeyeon walking down the hallway. Getting up, Jessica went into the hallway, “Taeyeon?”

Turning, Taeyeon smiled happily, “I was just looking for you. Your secretary said you were at lunch…I was afraid you left the building…”

Jessica was confused to see Taeyeon here, “W-why are you here?”

Taeyeon flashed Jessica a blinding smile, “To see you of course.”

Still confused, “What?”

Taeyeon walked up to Jessica and grabbed her hand, “I realized I was stupid to let you just walk out of my place like that…” Jessica could have sworn she was dreaming by how unbelievable this all was, “I know I am slow when it comes to realizing things…but I do know one thing for sure. I like you too.”

Yep. Jessica was convinced she was dreaming. There is no way Taeyeon came all the way here to say that to her, but just to check, she reached her hand up to cup Taeyeon’s cheek. It was warm. Taeyeon also raised her hand to cup Jessica’s as she continued to stare Jessica in the eyes.

“So did I make you speechless because I was hoping…” Taeyeon didn’t have a chance for a verbal answer as Jessica leaned forward to kiss Taeyeon. Closing their eyes, they both imagined a new beginning.
