Myungsoo woke up from his coma a week later. By the time he opened his eyes, I had already packed up my bags and left with my parents. They settled everything from me, right from writing a letter to school to saying goodbyes since I refused to leave even my room, never mind the house.

Chorong came the day after Myungsoo fainted to apologize. I pretended to be asleep so that I didn’t have to see, but she came into my room and sat on the floor hugging her knees next to my bed and stared at me for almost an hour. She didn’t say anything, though, but before she finally left, I heard a soft whisper from her.

“I’m sorry, Woohyun ah,” she said.

I caught a glimpse of her just before she closed the door, and I could see her bloated eyes and puffy cheeks. She had been crying.

I never saw her after that. I didn’t go visit Myungsoo as well. On the day we moved out, only Hoya came to send me off with a sad smile and a pat on the back. I left without bidding farewells to my two best friends.

I was a coward.

This isn't a full chapter, I know, but it just doesn't feel right to put this together with the next chapter. So, yeah.
