Park Bom oneshots
Bom stared at herself in the mirror, disgust written on her face. She shook her head violently as Dara's small cries played in her head, her tear stricken faced planted in Bom's memory. As Bom bit her lip, she imagined Ji Yong kissing her earlier.
Turning on the water as fast as she could, she washed her lips violently. Her red lipstick smeared over her skin as she focused on her lips only, wanting to rid of the kiss's evidence. It was no use though, she could still feel it.
Without thinking, the water made it's way onto her face, her makeup smearing too. She hadn't realized she was crying until she stared at her reflection. God how aweful she looked. It wasn't her makeup smearing that made her angry but the person wearing it. It wasn't her... That hideous face didn't belong to her.
Angrily, she threw the nearest object, which so happened to be her glass perfume at the mirror, causing it to shatter in small pieces.
In the kitchen, Jae Joong tasted the salad quickly before putting it on the table for him and Bom. His head snapped toward Bom's bathroom as he heard something break. On instict, he ran as fast as he could, pounding on the door.
"BOM," He screamed for an answer. Instead, all that was heard was the water running. He didn't care that he had the chance of seeing Bom , he needed to make sure she was safe. Breaking the door, his eyes snapped to the poor girl crying on the floor.
Running to her, he grabbed her hand, checking for any sort of harm. With a relieved sigh, he stared at the sink, amazed at all the glass around it. He stood up,
grabbing a small towel and damping it with warm water before he knelt beside her.
Bom's gaze lifted as Jae Joong lifted her chin. He slowly wiped her lips as well as her cheek as she continued crying. Making sure every single touch of makeup was gone, Jae Joong brushed his finger across her cheek. "What happened?" he questioned softly as he stared into her eyes. "I'm not me," She whispered back.
For the first time in the longest time, Bom found herself again. And this wasn't her. What she did was despicable and she now wasn't sure what led her to do it.
"Bom?" Jae Joong called her softly as his hand reached for hers. Upon feeling the contact, she jumped in startlement but was comforted at his smile. Staring at her, Jae Joong smiled. In those eyes wasn't the cold Bom he had been seeing for the past months, it was the real Park Bom. The one he found so alluring when he first met her.
She hesitated as she opened , her words hanging in . "I should apologize," she finally stated as Jae Joong raised his eyebrow.
"Is this really Park Bom? The one that dared to seek revenge?" He playfully asked her as she sighed, staring at her hands. She wiped her tears before staring at nothing in particular.
His heart smiled in content as he watched her heart melt from all the ice holding it captured. Her heartbeat beating for the right reasons again and not for the revenge it found.
"What do I do Jae?" she whispered as she burried her face in her palms. "I've been looking for revenge so much I didn't even care to look for the pain that was going to appear after."
He wanted to comment but decided that it was best she found the answer herself. And indeed she did, "I mean, I expected Dara to be hurt... God, what happened to me?" She cursed as she leaned against the seat.
"It doesn't matter what you did Bom. Now all that matters is what you do now." Jae Joong smiled as he stood up, pulling her up too.
Staring at him, she smiled as he leaned forward her, planting a small kiss on her forehead. "Let me know if you need anything okay?" He smiled as she nodded, heading toward the apartment door. She watched as he left, a sigh escaping her full lips. On the way toward the elevator, Jae Joong smiled as he looked back, knowing full well Bom was going to do something right in a long time. Sure, he had made dinner for them but he knew Bom needed a moment to herself.
She was grateful toward Jae Joong for always being with her. In her heart, she always knew he had a thing for her but she wasn't ready. How could she devote herself to someone if she wasn't even able to devote herself to her? It wouldn't make sense at all.
Walking into the bathroom, she pouted as she noticed the mess she created. "Nice going Park Bom," She whispered as she turned off the light, closing the door and climbing into bed with her dress still on. Staring at the ceiling, she closed her eyes as her heart felt warm again. Opening her eyes again, she smiled as she thought of a plan.
Teddy raised his eyebrow as he opened the YG Entertainment door, his lips turning into a smile at seeing Bom. Just from seeing her eyes, he knew. He knew
Park Bom was back.
Unlike yesterday night, she didn't wear dark makeup that made her appear ier nor a dress that made her seem like a goddess no one could touch. She was wearing light makeup, her outfit reminding him of the times when she was still a trainee. He had never found her so beautiful till today.
Bom had texted Teddy earlier that morning asking for assistance. When he asked why, she simply told him it was because she did something very bad. He immediately knew what she meant. For some reason, the news about Ji Yong and Dara's breakup broke out overnight at the YG building. Teddy knew it had something to do with Bom. He tried asking Ji Yong earlier but he ignored the question, replacing it with another question about YG's meeting with all the artists that day.
"Hey you," Teddy greeted Bom as he hugged her closely. She smiled as she hugged him back, "Hello to you too"
She closed her eyes in nervousness as Teddy walked beside her, telling her that YG was currently meeting with the artists in the cafetaria about their upcoming
YG concert. Bom nodded her head as she understood how important the concert was. Walking the hallways of YG entertainment, Bom couldn't help but remember the memories she held there. Tracing her fingers across the pictures on the wall, she couldn't help but stop at a certain picture.
All this time, she had been cursing Ji Yong and Dara for her leaving YG but it was all because of her and no one else. Because of herself, she drifted apart from her closest friends. Because of herself, she focused on revenge and hatred. Because of herself, she left YG. Because of herself, she didn't take a step forward in life but instead, stayed on the same square.
"YG's always willing to take you back Bom," Teddy said as his arms found her shoulder. She shook her head as she traced the picture of 2NE1, her palm covering her own face. "I've caused too much problems oppa, I don't deserve to be forgiven easily," she stated which earned a headshake from Teddy. She could feel sadness creep upon her as she stared at 2NE1's newest picture. The idea that she wasn't part of it saddened her. Teddy noticed as he followed her gaze, a frown appearing on his lips.
"You are from YG and will forever be apart of YG," he stated. She smiled as she continued walking toward the cafetaria. As she neared, she could hear her conscious fighting with her.
'
come on Bom. You don't want to do this. They hurt you and scarred you. They deserved it,'
"Shut up," Bom hissed earning a glare from Teddy. "I didn't say anything," Teddy said which caused Bom to blush. "Sorry oppa, I was talking to myself."
Hearing her, Teddy chuckled. Yep, Park Bom was back.
She couldn't help but stop in her tracks as she heard YG's voice. At that moment, she wanted to run away because she was embarassed. 'Come on Bom~' she encouraged herself as she heard YG voice clearer.
"Do you guys want to cover 2NE1's songs or---" YG's voice stopped as the artists' gaze drifted toward something, more specifically, someone else.
YG raised his eyebrow as he saw Bom staring right back at him, a warm smile on her lips. "Bom?" He questioned as she bowed.
"I'm sorry if I interrupted you guys," Bom apologized sincerely. She stared at everyone, her gaze landing on Dara as she stared at the table.
Young Bae and Chae Rin stared at eachother confused as Bom apologized. Without hesitation, their lips curved into warm smiles. "No problem. Can we help
with something?" YG asked as Bom closed her eyes quickly, taking in a deep breath.
"You can do it," she spoke softly to herself before looking at Dara and Ji Yong. "I'm sorry," She said as they all stared at her confused.
"I'm sorry for being such a these past few months. I'm sorry for ignoring all your love and acting like you were all to blame. I'm sorry Dara, for not being understanding and I'm sorry Ji Yong, for being selfish. Overall, I'm sorry for everything I've done wrong to you guys because you guy are all family to me and I was selfish, only caring for me." Bom spoke as her voice quivered.
Young Bae smiled as he recognized the noona he learned to care so much for appear again. As Bom bowed repeatedly, her eyes widened as someone pulled her into a hug. Recognizing Dara's embrace, Bom hugged the petite girl back. "I'm so sorry Bommie. It's all my fault," Dara cried hard onto her shoulder. Bom broke apart and smiled at Dara, wiping her tears, "I'm sorry for not understanding," Bom spoke while Dara shook her head.
"Forgive me?" Dara asked as Bom nodded. The two hugged closer as everyone stood up, going to give her a hug too.
As Ji Yong stared at Bom, he couldn't help but smile. The woman he loved was found again. The group of YG artist broke apart as Ji Yong made his way toward Bom, hugging her tightly. "I'm sorry Bom," He whispered as he heard a small laugh escape her lips. "I'm sorry too," Bom spoke into his ears.
As they parted, Ji Yong couldn't help but plant a small kiss on her forehead.
Watching all of this, YG smiled in approvement as Bom stood among her fellow 'family' members. An idea popped into his head as he stared at Bom, "You know Bom, there's always a contract on my desk for you." He said as she shook her head slowly.
All of them stared at her confused as she smiled, "I'm kind of tied to another company," She laughed as YG laughed too. "I can always talk to your CEO," He stated as she looked at the ground, her head still shaking. "I think I'm going to be out of the business for awhile." She stated.
They all raised their eyebrow but no on dared asked why. They knew she had a good reason. She didn't train for nothing. She stayed for along time, catching up with everyone. When it was finally time to leave, she left with no regrets.
Bom felt her heart become complete as she stared behind her, as if something was waiting for her at the door. Gripping Dara's hand one last time, she smiled before bidding everyone goodbye. They all watched her as she walked toward the elevator, staring at them as she waited for the doors to close and bring her to the main floor.
"What doesn't kill you makes you stronger," she soflty whispered to herself. The doors closed and that was the last time anyone had ever heard from Bom again. Oh and of course from Jae Joong.
Jae Joong linked his hands with Bom as they continued walking alongside the beach, comforted by eachother's presence.
