Park Bom oneshots
Seung Hyun violently threw his wine glass at the fireplace and watched as it shattered into a million small pieces, the small amount of alcohol fighting with the flames. He stared at the pieces on the floor and smirked as he slowly picked up a small piece. Wasn't this the same as his heart? Unfixable?
He wasn't sure when he started missing Bom but his heart ached just thinking about her. Walking to the couch again, he sighed as he sat on it. His eyes rolled to the back of his head repeatedly as he tried fighting against the sleep wanting to overtake him. Stupid alcohol was taking it hard on his body but it was all it's fault, he had too much to drink tonight.
Was it when he saw other couples walking around that he suddenly missed her? Was it when he heard that she had been going out on dates that his heart sparked jealously? Was it when he tried finding another woman, they all reminded him of Bom? Whatever it was, it was driving him crazy.
He stared at the fan spinning above him as he tried remembering her soft touches against his skin. "Tabi," She would always breathe against his neck when she wanted something. He would always turn to her, claiming her lips softly. She would always pout then and he would always chuckle.
"Tabi?" he swore he heard her whisper against his neck. Slowly opening his eyes, he was met with nothing but disappointment. "I love you," he heard her whisper again.
Reaching out the side, he let out a deep breath of air as he felt nothing. "Bommie," he whispered softly as he finally allowed sleep to control him.
Bom paced in front of Seung Hyun's apartment as she hesitated to punch in the code. She needed to grab the last of her stuff and she wasn't sure if Seung hyun was home or not. If he was, she wanted to avoid him in fear that she wouldn't know what to say. Gaining enough courage, she slowly punched in the code.
As the door clicked open, her eyes widened as she saw the lights on. She bit her lips as she walked into the living room immediately noticing Seung Hyun on the couch.
"Mianhe, I didn't know you were home... I'm just going to grab my stuff very quick and then leave." she whispered as she quickly made her way into his room for the last box. As she passed by him though, her eyes narrowed. "Seung Hyun?" she called out. "Tabi?"
He wasn't moving. Seung Hyun wasn't a very deep sleeper so it scared Bom to see that he wasn't responding to her. She quickly made her way toward him and felt his face. "Tabi?" She called again as she leaned her head against his chest. His heartbeat was still beating strongly and she let out a deep breath of air as he groaned in his sleep.
Forcing his eyes to open once again when he heard Bom's voice, he cursed as he saw Bom. "Damn, I need to stop drinking... I'm hallucinating now..." he hissed as he stood up and stumbled.
Bom leaned forward and was able to catch Seung Hyun before he fell. Helping him back onto the couch, she stared at his tired face. "Why'd you drink so much?" She sighed as she made her way into the familiar apartment and found a warm towel. Bringing a bowl filled with warm water into the living room, Bom sighed as she placed the towel on top of his head.
He could've sworn she was just an illusion but it didn't make sense that she was able to touch him. Reaching out to touch her, Bom raised an eyebrow as he tightly gripped her wrist. "Seung Hyun?" She whispered softly as tears escaped his eyes. Seung Hyun wasn't a man to cry so it scared her when he started crying.
He closed his eyes tightly as he talked to himself. He wasn't sure if he was dreaming but it hurted so much to know that he could never give Bom happiness.
Taking in deep breaths, Seung Hyun sighed as he opened his eyes. "You have no idea how much I miss you," He whispered into the air with a faint smile on.
She stopped breathing upon hearing his confession and didn't know what to do. Taking the towel off his forehead, she smiled as she placed it back in the water. "You're drunk Seung Hyun," She stated. Ringing the extra water out of the small towel, she stopped short as he leaned his head against her back.
He was tired but he was able to breathe out a smirk before inhaling the comfortable scent. "Yes, I am drunk," He didn't deny. "But I miss you to death. I didn't think I could make you happy..." he whispered.
He relaxed as he listened to her heartbeat. A small chuckle left his lips as her heart beated rapidly. "I still give you butterflies huh?" He stated as she rolled her eyes.
She quickly stood up and helped him up. "We'll talk more about it tomorrow when you're sober and right minded."
Whether he was teling the truth or not, her heart filled with love for the man behind her. As she helped him into his king size bed, she tiredly took of his shoes. Remembering that he left quite a mess in the living room, she went to fix it up.
The birds chirped early and all Seung Hyun wanted to do was throw a pillow at the window to shut them up but his hangover was preventing that. Cursing, he held his head as he made his way into the bathroom. Leaning under the sink faucet, he closed his eyes as he drunk the water not caring if it was pure or not.
"Never going to drink alone again..." He hissed as his mind replayed what happened last night. He couldn't remember but he had a sense that he needed to go out and check his living quarters. As he stepped into the living room, the ends of his lips automatically curled upon seeing the red head sleeping poorly on the couch. So Bom showing up was not a dream after all.
He didn't know what to say or do but his body took him towards her anyway. He smiled as his thumb ran across her cheek waking the sleeping beauty up.
She widened her eyes as it met with Seung Hyun and she couldn't help but feel stupid for being caught like that. She grinned foolishly as she thought of excuses, the first one leaving her lips. "I fell asleep after cleaning up. I was going to make you some hangover soup but I woke up late. If you want me to leave, I can--"
Seung Hyun had silenced her by placing his lips on hers, the familiarity comforting. "You don't have to go anywhere anymore. I just want you beside me." he whispered into her lips. She opened to speak but closed it with a sigh.
"What are we suppose to do Seung Hyun? You barely talk to me anymore and we don't fight anymore. All we do now is leave each other in silence and that silence is dangerous. I can't--"
"I'll change," He said as he wrapped his arms around her. These past weeks had been hell without her and he never realized how much he needed her until yesterday. It was stupid really. Who thought a drunk night could end this happily.
Bom didn't know what to do. Of course she loved Seung Hyun but these past months had been pain filled for her. "And what if things don't change?" she whispered in fear of his answer. Even Seung Hyun didn't know what to answer but he knew that his love for Bom was sincere. "Things will change," He confidently stated as he peered down at her.
"Because I love and I need you, I don't want to lose you. When I stop fighting for you, that means there's nothing left. Until then, let's keep fighting because I know deep in my heart, I'll be fighting for yours. I know it may seem I wasn't fighting anymore but I was just losing on purpose."
The last sentence caused Bom to raise her eyebrows. "You mean you wanted me to break up with you?" She asked. Out of their four years together, there were many moments when they needed a break. Even then though, it was always Seung Hyun initiating it. This time, Bom was the one that left.
Just hearing that he needed her made her love him even more. Bom couldn't help but let out a small smile as she tiptoed to kiss his lips. "Let's keep fighting then.
