Ian sent a text message to his friend as soon as he got home from school, "Hey Sue, are you busy?" 

"Why are you asking?" replied Sue, a high school senior who happened to be friends with Ian, a junior, because he's a cousin of her ex. 

"I saw you earlier with this cute girl, is she transferring to our school?" Ian replied.

Sue: With who??? Oh you mean Kaye? No, she just wanted to come visit me before she leaves the country

Ian: Oh you mean she is not based here in Korea? 

Sue: Soon to be based out of the country, hmmm..are you finally interested in someone? Do you have a crush on her? Too bad she won't be here that long

Ian: Like for how long?

Sue: Maybe a month or two

Ian: And when is she coming back?

Sue: I think for several years, maybe even for good

Ian:  :(

Sue: Awww don't be sad, that's just infatuation, you'll get over it

Sue: Oh by the way, can you ask your cousin why he keeps calling me, he said he wanted to meet, I don't know what for, it has been several months since we broke up.

Ian: I'll ask and let you know

Sue: Ok thanks
