Jaebeom leave a big sigh when he listen to his friends aka Yugbam keep teasing him about his new hair cut. They are on their way to the café.

“Jay B!!! I don’t know you are so handsome!! Well I know you have a good look but this handsome? I can actually falling in love with just your look!.” Bambam

“Yah! you only said that but you cant actually stand his mood right? No one can do like I do.” Yugyeom

Bambam look up and down and stare at Jaebeom face.

“You see Yugyeom, if you did not seduce me. I think I can handle his mood. He just need to flaunt his body more and I am fine.” Bambam said while wink at Jaebeom

Jaebeom feel all his body shiver when Bambam said with his seductive voice and a flirty wink.

“No thank you, even if you do that how are you sure that I am gay?” Jaebeom

“Jay B!! My man. Don’t disappoint me! You know how gay people have radar so that we can detect the gays right? And my gay radar is actually very accurate and I can feel it for the first time we meet. If you are not gay you are a bi, its not in between.” Bambam

Jaebeom just shake his head and turn to Yugyeom.

“Do I have to remind you that this kind of topic is prohibited when we are together? I don’t want any kids heard about this and if there is a rumor or some kids will gossiping you know how my mom will react? Just last 2 weeks ago when our neighbour saw some kids kissing I mean gay couple kissing. My mom was so furious that he banned me to watch any movie or books related to LGBTQ? And this is just my neighbour gossiping but my mom going berserk like I was the one that Aunt Joo seeing other guys face.” Jaebeom

“Euwww, I don’t need to imagine that kind of image of  you other people face.” Yugyeom

“ I never meet your mom because both of you FORBID me to see her but the way you talk about her I don’t know how you can accept me and Yugyeom being a couple.” Bambam

“Well for me love is love. Nothing can change that. If you fall in love with the same gender or other gender its not your fault. Its no one fault actually. Its happen. Love happen. By the way I really like seeing Yugyeom being happy and he really is happy when you two are together.” Jaebeom

“Awww Jaebeom.” both Bambam and Yugyeom stop walking and sandwiche Jaebeom with a hug.

“I also love seeing you happy but now its quite hard to see you happy. Anything happen? Afer the fight you rarely talk about your games or your hobby.” Yugyeom

“Thank you for  your concern but nothing happen. Maybe I already grown out with the game you see.” Jaebeom said with a small smile.

“Why do I feel something sour here? Look we arrive at the café .”Bambam

Yugyeom open the door for both Bambam and Jaebeom and right after  Jaebeom walk in the shop he can hear Bambam’s shouting.

"Sunmi noona!! We are here to get Jaebeom his melon milkshake before he get groggy." Bambam.

Jaebeom groan while trying to shut Bambam’s mouth

"Shut up Bambam, you cant just shout it out loud okay!." Jaebeom

"Hi noona." Jaebeom said with an apologetic voice.

"Jaebeom ah and his two tall friend who I rarely meet but know they are the reason that Jaebeom become groggy." Sunmi

"Noona? I feel so appreciated," Yugyeom

Yugyeom put both his hand at his chest while making a really proud face.

"Stop it." Jaebeom

Sunmi just laugh out loud. Everyone already know Jaebeom because he is a regular here and whenever Jaebeom come to the café with his friend (a rare occasion) Sunmi can see how cheerful Jaebeom is and what really a shock is how the owner is actually Yugyeom aunty so after everyone knows about it (a few weeks ago when  Yonghwa coming to visit the café and that time Jaebeom bring him to the café.) it’s like everyone a family.

"Okay one melon milkshake and what can I get for both of you?" Sunmi

"Ice choco for this giant and also a black coffee with brown sugar for the one with loud voice." Jaebeom

"Aww Jaebeom, you know my favourite drink." Bambam

"Of course I do. Yugyeom always forced me to buy one when he try to court you. You know?" Jaebeom

"Okay guys take away right? Please wait for a while and Jaebeom yours is on the house okay?" Sunmi

"Noona, you need to stop this. I can afford to buy my own drinks." Jaebeom

"Well yesterday shouting beg to differ." Sunmi

"You heard huh?" Jaebeom

"Dont worry about it. I love spoiling you." Sunmi

"Thank you noona." Jaebeom.

“Are both you and your mom fighting again?” Yugyeom said concern about his friend well being.

“Nothing unusual. It’s just my mom become really stressed lately and she just see the bill and others thing you know.” Jaebeom said while trying to just shrug off the topic.

Jaebeom really don’t want to worried Yugyeom because he knows that Yugyeom will done anything if he know Jaebeom is in trouble and Jaebeom don’t want to be a burden for Yugyeom.

“Jaebeom! Your drinks are done.” Sunmi

“Lets get our drink and go.” Jaebeom.

Yugyeom really unsatisfied with Jaebeom answer. Yugyeom can see how Jaebeom change after he come back from his leave. Jaebeom is not a talkative person but he always talk with Yugyeom even when it was late and Jaebeom call him just to talk about his new quest or new manga or even just talking about anything.

But when he did not heard anything after the incident he was really worried but then Jaebeom sent a message saying he went to his grandparents house. But its still feel weird when Jaebeom stop talking about his hobbies.

“Babe? What are you staring at?” Bambam

“Huh? Nothing.” Yugyeom said while looking around.

“Where is Jaebeom?” Yugyeom

“He really in a hurry. He just take the drink and wave goodbye to us and went out like this café will blow out soon.” Bambam

“Really?” Yugyeom

“Yeah.” Bambam

Yugyeom just keep quiet and took Bambam hands and walk out. He need to find what exactly happen to his best friend.

 

“They gone right?” Jinyoung

“Yeah, but why Jaebeom look like he in a hurry?” Mark

Jinyoung just shrug his shoulder.

“Mark, just forget what I just ask you to do. That is so rude of me to know someone uality just because of my feeling. This is my feeling. I need to take my own responsibility. So what if Jaebeom is straight? I don’t care at all.” Jinyoung

“Why do you sound like that time you keep wondering if you answer the math equation right or you used a wrong formula? You care about this, don’t deny it. It was your first love right? Or are you keeping a secret about your first love?” Mark

“No this is my first time and I am sure about it just like the first time I am sure that I am gay.” Jinyoung

“That happen last year and now you fall in love with a guy! I was so proud of you. I can still remember you shaking and crying when you confessed to me that you are gay.” Mark

“Well I was scared you know. Being gay in this country is no fun at all. Well I am still fine because I have my own relative that are gay and not afraid to hide it and thanks to them I finally have a courage to learn about myself.” Jinyoung

“Yes Jinyoung I know and I am proud of you. But I really am surprised when you tell me.” Mark

“Well that is because I actually thought you are gay when we first meet. How should I know you already have girlfriend at America.” Jinyoung

“Yeah, people tends to think I am gay but I don’t mind and thank you.” Mark

“For what?” Jinyoung confused.

“Well you are not angry at me when I said I am not gay.” Mark

“Why should I get angry at you?” Jinyoung said while making his confused face.

“I don’t know, maybe I was actually afraid you will keep me shut just because I am not gay.” Mark

“Nah, I will never do that.” Jinyoung

“You are really kind Jinyoung and don’t worry about Jaebeom.” Mark said while smiling

Don’t worry about Jaebeom?

Huh if Mark can read mind he will definitely be surprise by how many time Jinyoung worry about Jaebeom.

It’s not because Jinyoung has feeling towards Jaebeom but Jinyoung also wondering how exactly he falls for Lim Jaebeom. They never speak with each other more than 3 sentences. Jinyoung rarely see Jaebeom heck even before this he never knew there is a student name Jaebeom. 

Jinyoung just realize how he had a little connection with Jaebeom so why the he fall in love with him?

Why cant Jinyoung fall in love with some other guy? Or with some guy he actually know and will not frown at him whenever the guy see him? Jinyoung don’t want to sound petty but he can see how Jaebeom try to avoid him ( Mark : He avoid everyone before this too don’t think so much) or how whenever Jaebeom spoke to Mark softly and he can hear Jaebeom’s annoyed voice when Jinyoung try to speak with him.

What should I do?

After a week has gone and he started his tutor with Mark and he don’t know why Mark friend Jinyoung also there whenever Mark tutored him (3 days in a week). Jaebeom tried to ignore him and just keep his focus on studying the literature. He don’t want to say out loud but Jinyoung staring make his inside feels something like an indigestion. Maybe because he literally swallowed his lunch like a vacuum that day so he can ignore Jinyoung who miraculously become friend with Youngjae he keep eating his lunch at their tables (with Mark and Jackson)

Jaebeom can still handle Jackson teasing because he know the other man just joking around but when suddenly Jinyoung also follow Jackson to tease Jaebeom he become restless and the feeling inside his wanted to just yell at Jinyoung.

Jaebeom also know that Jinyoung is also one of his clique now because they always had lunch together but he doesn’t know why he managed to run away from Jinyoung whenever he saw the other guy. Especially when they are at the school hallway and he feel bad whenever he caught Jinyoung sad face whenever he do that.

Jaebeom got a message from an unknown number.

Hi, this is Lim Jaebeom right? The petsitter? I just realize we never introduce ourselves. You can call me Jinjoo noona. I am your noona right? Lol. We meet yesterday at the park.Sorry I just wondering if you can bring my family dog for a walk let’s say tomorrow? Or do I need to make a reservation earlier? Sorry I don’t know about it.                                                                                                                                                      

Hi! Yes it is me. Ouh yes I am still a high schooler. Ahh about that Jinjoo noona yes you need to do the reservation first but thankfully tomorrow I don’t have any schedule so yeah I can come and take your dog for a while.

Jaebeom smiling when he get the text. He don’t know why but he really like Jinjoo noona outgoing personality.

Jaebeom sigh.

He need to find someone who willing to buy his games and manga. He don’t want to ask his friend for a help because they definitely ask why he wanted to sell all his precious items. But he need to because his mom need extra help because his late father actually has a big debt he need to pay but because his father died so the money launderer keep bugging his poor grandma and the reason they went to his hometown is because his grandma get injured when the crazy people pour  gasoline and because his grandma keep inhaling the gas she become dizzy and fall down that make her hip broken so yeah now mom taking care of grandma at the hospital.

Even though his mom personality slowly becoming like his late father, Jaebeom still love her. Jaebeom still remember how his mother nurtured him when he is sick or cook his favourite meals. It’s just after his late father dies his mom had an extra mouth to feed and with her own pay she can’t afford everything and that make her more stressed and have a foul mood.

Jaebeom already pack all his game and manga. He did not leave one because he knows that if he had just one game or manga he will get addicted and will buy more. He need to control his budget. Jaebeom already calculate if he sell all of this he will get more than a hundrend thousand won. He can give half to his mom and another half for his own future. He also think that if he had the spare time after he sells all his things he can have more time to study and get a higher marks for his examination so that he can secure the scholarship.

Jaebeom lay down at his second hand bed that his mom managed to get after she bargain with the owner of  the used shop. He remember when the first time he sleep at his own bed. He was so so happy. Having his own bed and he had a wish that someday he will have his own house that is not here with a little kitty just like Nora her neighbour cats.

 

 

Jinyoung was laying down at his own bed when the face of  Jaebeom come in his mind. The way his smile warmly (the way he smile at Mark). The way he scrunching his nose when Jackson and also the way he frown at Jinyoung. Then suddenly the way he ignored Jinyoung existence.

Why does Jaebeom ignored him? Is it because of the incident?

The thing is Jinyoung doesn’t know Jaebeom until he accidentally bump into Jinyoung. So he doesn’t know if  Jaebeom purposely ignored him or is it his own personality but Jinyoung realisation that his bestfriend aka Jackson literally bug Jaebeom almost every day for 2 years and Jaebeom still spoke with Jackson baffled Jinyoung.

Why Jaebeom don’t want to speak with him?

Jinyoung was just starting a pity party for himself when his phone rings.

“ Jinyoung ah! I already inform eomma that tomorrow the pet sitter that I told you guys the other day will come and bring Sarang for a walk. He will arrive at 4 pm make sure Sarang leashes were there and please please told eomma to used the money that I put at the money jar. I already put a tips for him.” Jinjoo

“Noona I still can’t believe you hire someone to walk Sarang. I am here you can ask me to do it and by the way you speak about Sarang it does not feel like you hate her.” Jinyoung

“Of course I like Sarang what do you mean? And you are so lazy. Walking Sarang does not mean leave her at the backyard while you watching memes.” Jinjoo

“Well he love it.” Jinyoung rolled his eyes

“Even thought I don’t see it I can hear you rolling your eyes. Sarang is an active golden  retriever and  the vet already told us that she need to be walk at least 4 times a week. The guy that I bump into is really a hot high school student and I saw how he work really hard to earn money.” Jinjoo

“But who does this job?” Jinyoung

“A really creative young man who wanted money and also doing the thing that he love so yeah. Not like you.” Jinjoo

“Okay I will ignore your comment if and only if you buy me some fried chicken if not I will tell Jae hyung you wanted to dump him.” Jinyoung

“You wouldn’t.” Jinjoo

“Try me.” Jinyoung teased

“Yah Park Jinyoung.” Jinjoo

Jinyoung laugh and then cut the call off.

He always had fun in teasing his sister.

Now where are we again?

Ah yes, Lim Jaebeom.

 

 

Jaebeom managed to not eat lunch at the cafeteria while saying something about need to finished something and now he is on the way back to his house so that he can get prepared for his job. Jaebeom successfully avoid Jinyoung and he is proud at his ability to not see Park Jinyoung.Even when Jinyoung always flashes Jaebeom with his smile that will show his crinkles around his eyes. He look cute with the smile.

Jaebeom check again for the address that Jinjoo noona give and he was surprised because the house is so big with a bigger backyard. Jaebeom never realize Jinjoo noona is from a rich family because he did not get the vibe that Jinjoo noona is rich. She look kind and friendly.

The one that open the door is Mrs Park who look familiar to Jaebeom but he just don’t know who. Mrs Park saying that their dog Sarang is an active dog really love to running around but unfortunately she can’t always walk the dog because she also has her own things to do and because she also an avid fan of a korean drama (she does not get shy when admitted to that) and also she was actually afraid to walk the dog alone.

Jaebeom just smile when he heard Mrs Park explain why she can’t walk her dog. Jinjoo noona already told him that her mom will make loads of excuses and Jaebeom find it funny when Mrs Park trying to calm down while her face already turn reddish. Jaebeom just nod and reassure her that she was helping him earn money so he does not care why she did not walk her dog.

The dog a really pretty golden retriever fall in love with Jaebeom instantly. Jaebeom did not bribe her with a homemade treats that he always bake for the dogs. He was walking the dog around the neighbourhood when suddenly Sarang runs fast and she also dragged Jaebeom too and suddenly stop that make Jaebeom can’t control the inertia and fall towards someone.

Unfortunately the impact of Jaebeom inertia make the person fall and Jaebeom fall into him.

“Oh god I am so sor…you?” Jaebeom

“Heh, you always make me fall huh? “ Jinyoung

Suddenly Sarang went and Jinyoung and so happily barking.

“Sarang no you can’t do that.” Jaebeom

“Sarang stop.” Jinyoung

“You know Sarang?” Jaebeom

“Yeah, she is my dog. Wait what are you doing with my dog?’’ Jinyoung

“So you are Jinjoo noona lazy brother?” Jaebeom

“No I am not wait I mean I am Jinjoo little brother but I am not lazy.” Jinyoung

Jaebeom just shrug.

“Wait does this mean you are the pet sitter?” Jinyoung

“Yeah I am and if I am not I might end up at the police station trying to steal your dog.” Jaebeom

Jinyoung stare at Jaebeom.

“What?” Jaebeom

“That is the longest speech you speak to me.” Jinyoung

“No.”  Jaebeom

“Yeah, I totally count all your words.” Jinyoung

Jaebeom look at Jinyoung weirdly.

“Not to be a creep but…. I should stop talking right?” Jinyoung said after looking at Jaebeom expression.

Jaebeom clear his throat.

“I should keep going.” Jaebeom

“Wait! Where are you going?” Jinyoung grabs Jaebeom’s arm

“Urm…walking the dog?” Jaebeom

“Ouh sorry I thought you wanted to avoid me.” Jinyoung

“No I am not, I am just doing my job.” Jaebeom

“Right, so I meet you at my house later?” Jinyoung

“For what?’’ Jaebeom

 

Yeah, for what Jinyoung?

“Urmm you gonna need to give back our Sarang.” Jinyoung

‘Ouh yeah, of course I will.” Jaebeom let out a little chuckle.

“Okay see you soon. Saranghae!” Jinyoung

“Huh?” Jaebeom

“What? I just call my dog. Be good girl Sarang.” Jinyoung said while keep Sarang’s ears.

Jaebeom just nod and take Sarang away.

Jinyoung just smile looking at the two figures that slowly become smaller.

He need to thanks his sister for this one
